Cynthia purred and nibbled on the wolfs ear gently. "That's nice... Good doggie." She cuddled with Steffon and ran her fingers through his fur. "Oh... if you're real then I want you as my dog." She smiled. "I would be nicer to you than anyone, and you could make sure I wouldn't get hurt..."
The air around them was warping, reaching out like it wanted to embrace the girl and comfort her more than Steffon.

Steffon wished he could hug the girl back but seeing as he didn't even have his human arms it would be an almost impossible task. He sighed in her ear,'That sounds good. I can do that.' He noticed the shifting air and wondered if it was the 'angel' who asked him to come here.

Cynthia beamed happily. "Let's run away then. You'll be mine and I'll be so nice to you."
The ripples of space collapsed upon them, but it was the will of the girl that they did so. Her control had returned and her memories would soon follow... though they would be back far below the ground in a cell controlled by the FBI.

Core entered in a whirlwind , her now black hair blowing about . She stopped just in front of a man in a black suit , and he looked at her questioningly . Why wouldn`t he . She was wearing black skinny jeans , a black English ruffle style silk shirt , with an angry teenager over her shoulder . Whispering a few words back and forth , he led them to a door . Opening it , it led to some stairs . Core whispered a thanks , then started walking down , Sarah and Kile following , Kile first , then Sarah .
Once they were at the bottom , Core flipped a switch , which turned on a few tradition chandelier , with candles , not light bulbs . Placing Kara one a couch near the back , Core blinked once , and her black eyes started retracting . Her whites were visible , and then the iris . The only black in her eyes now were her abnormally large pupils , which were lightly covered by her golden brown bangs .

((Enters)) The moment the vampire set her down she jumped up and started to run towards the door when another tainted got in the way. "Move it" She said meanly. Kile got in Kara's way. "Go sit back down please. I don't want to fight you." He told her. Kenile sensed Kara in the basement of the church. It wasn't going to be easy getting to her. He told the gang to surround the church and wait.

This was a very special basement . The only was to open it was from the inside , and it had an intercom to the main church . It also had an escape route , also accessible from inside . No one could get in here if Core didn`t want them to . It had fridges of blood , and human food too . They could stay here for weeks . The downside was it made Kara and Kile uncomfortable , it was a church , after all . Although , that did mean Kenile`s gang wouldn`t be able to stand it for too long , either .
" You can`t escape , Kara , " Core said wistfully . Reaching for Kara`s hand , she whispered into her ears , " I`m your friend , you must trust me . " Holding Kara`s hand lovingly , Core`s past went through Kara`s mind , and she recoiled , jumping away from the vampire . Kara`s couldn`t understand Core`s memories . Especially the last week . She was there . But she doesn`t remember it herself .

She felt very uncomfortable. When the vampire came over and touched her she jumped away. "Don't touch me." She hissed. She then retreated away from the three of them. She knew that Kenile would somehow get her out and all she had to do was wait.
Kile shifted uncomfortably. "So whats your plan Core. Torture Kara and me to death by being in here?" He asked Core sarcasticly half-way meaning it. Since he too was a tainted it felt draining to be here.
Kenile was barely affected by the church since he wasn't close to it. He was on the outskirts as was his gang. But he knew Kara was feeling horribl being in there. He had to get her out. Before the church kills her and before she remembers those stupid vampires and other tainted.

Core closed her eyes in regret and bowed her head . " Hold her still , " she told Kile . He looked at her questioningly , and she looked back on the verge of tears . " Just do it , " she begged .
Once Kile had Kara`s arms behind her back , Sarah came over to help him too . Core knelled in front of Kara , and did a depressing half smile . " Trust me , " she whispered , then placed her left palm on her cheek . Kara struggled and yelled a bit , but Core continued . In a few moments Kara had seen Core`s first 200 years of her life , then her life in New York . Finally , it reached the day they met . Their friendship . How Core saw Kara as a friend and a person . Core withdrew her hand , and placed Kile`s on Kara`s cheek . She was certain that somewhere in his memory there was Kara telling Kile about how she left her gang .

Kara tried to recoil every time one of them touched her but she couldn't. So she just stood there and screamed.
"Core whats the purpose of this?" Kile whispered to Core.

" She needs to remember ! " she yelled at Kile , frustrated . She sighed , closing her eyes , then opened them again . " Sorry , " she said sencerily , before locking gazes with Sarah . Sarah understood her mental message , and reached under Kara`s kimono sleeve to hold onto her bare wrist . Core placed one hand on Sarah`s cheek , and then another on Kara`s . She held Kara`s gaze strongly , and concentrated . She said tonelessly to Kile , " hold her hand . " He did as he was told . Closing her eyes , she focused on Kara`s soul and found it easily . Part of it was black , as was all of her gang bonds . They were stronger now . Sarah concentrated on the black part of Kara`s soul , recovering the memories . It would take a lot of her strength , for she was very young . Core concentrated on the bonds . She had done something similar with her Psychic maker , but that was many decades ago ....
First , Core took the bond of one of the late gang members . After a few minutes . It was gone . She breathed a sigh of relief . Next , was a newer gang member . Gone too . Slowly she worked along the bonds , until 4 were left . Kara was screaming , and Kile was weakening . She opened her eyes and took a small break , recovering her self momentarily .

Kara finally broke free from them. "Leave me alone. Don't. Touch. Me. I don't want to see you in my head or my soul!!!" She screamed at them.
"Core i'm afraid she won't want to leave her gang until she remembers why she wanted to leave in the first place. But here's the thing. She's never told anyone about it. And its kinda gone from her mind right now." Kile told Core silently.
"Sir. Those vampires are somehow breaking Kara's bond to us. Most of us have already lost her. Only Hazel, Shade and Blaze are still connected to her along with yourself" One of the other members told Kenile. Kenile cursed. This was bad.

" Kara ! " shouted Core , before walking over to the couch and sitting down on it . Placing on hand on her forehead , her brows furred . She sighed once . " You can`t get out , " said Core calmly , thinking about the highly advanced security system , " so at least try to remember . " How much did you get Sarah ? Core thought . " Only her birthday , " she replied sadly .
After a couple minutes she stood up and went to the intercom and pressed the button . A few moments later a male voice answered . It was the male vampire that led them to the basement . " Can I get some wards down here please ? We have two demons that are feeling weak . " " Right away , ma`am , " he answered . A few casters started producing spells around the basement`s general area . It should bring back Kara`s and Kile`s strength , but they would be in discomfort . It wasn`t too big of a concern . Even without the wards , they wouldn`t die from just being in here .

Kara went to the other side of the room away from the others. She eyed them and dared them to come closer. For if they did she wouldn't hold back. *Kenile. Come on get me out of here!!* She mind thought to her leader.
Kile walked over to Core. "So what now? She obviously won't get used to us until we remind her of why she left. Which is kinda hard since we don't know why. And another thing. Why do you think Kenile is obsessed with getting her back?" Kile said while eyeing Kara trying to figure something out. He was trying to see past her face and into her heart. Which should be easy for him since he's a Incubus. But Kara's been trying to sheild herself from her ability for awhile which also sheild her from him.
Kenile heard what Kara said. "Well she still hasn't remembered them which is good but we're also loosing her." He told Shade. *We're trying to figure out a way to get you out don't worry.* Kenile said back to Kara. He sighed. This was getting annoying.

Core leaned against the wall , her forehead resting on the cement . " I don`t know , " she whispered pathetically , responding to both of Kile`s questions . " The best we can do is sit and wait . Create a new friendship so we can have her remember the old one . " She started crying silently . Sarah went over to the fridge and bought out some blood . Core`s favourite , AB+ , plus Kile`s , Kara`s and Sarah`s favourite . Core found the way to the bathroom and wiped her eyes on a towel before sitting down at the table Sarah`s placed the bottles on . She drank it slowly , and then laid her head on the table . It would be day soon . Slowly , she was asleep . But only lightly , she could wake at a moment`s notice .
((BTW THE BASEMENT DOESN`T GET ANY LIGHT -- SO NO NEED FOR COFFINS , IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING))
