Grant smiled after Jewlet kissed him. Slowly Grant reached up and grabbed Jewlet by the hips. Kissing her again Grant spoke politely"Come on baby. Lets go protect the castle" Grant tugged gently at Jewlet and chuckled a little under his breath at the irony of what was going on between him and jewlet in the middle of the first siege of the castle in Grant's career.

 Zireno had been out in the royal garden strolling though the flowers and yelling at the gardeners to change the arrangements in various ways. He did this on a weekly basis because he liked to have new exotic flowers and arrangements there every time he went. When he heard about the siege Zireno quickly made his way to his chambers and put on his royal armor. It was steal with gold trim and a royal purple cape with the castles crest on it. Once in his armor Zireno made his way to the top of the castle where he could get a good view of the attack. Zi called for the general to see what they where doing for a counter.

 Jewlet looked at Grant with a smiled "Hey.." She said before he kissed her. She kept herself from turning beat red, so her cheeks turned pink. She shock her head. "Fine, Sir Grant." All this had her completely unable to concentrate. "Careful." She said said trying to get her balance back, but to late. She feel from the tree and landed on Grant. "Sorry!." She quickly got to her feet. "Shall we go?"

"Oof!" Grant said as Jewlet fell on him though he kept his smile. "Its ok, and it's just Grant." He said as he got to his feet nodding to the question of going. Grant called Jenny over and helped Jewlet on before getting on himself. Then he did something he had never done before, he handed the reins to Jewlet. "Let's go." He said. He didn't realize it but his tall was sticking up and gently swaying.

Jewlet nodded her head and looked at Jenny as she came when called. "Yes, Grant." She said as she let Grant help her up. She looked at Grant as he handed her the reins. She smiled, but was a little unsure. She composed herself and said. "Hold on." She patted Jenny. "Yaw!"

Grant held tight to Jewlet as they rode to the castle. Once there Grant let go even before Jewlet had a chance to stop and slid of the back of Jenny. He hit the ground running and shouted to Jewlet. "I'll meat you at the wall!" Grant ran up to the castle and then slowed to a walk. He walked to the war room where he looked at the maps of the surrounding area and spread them out on the massive table. He then got out the wooden decals of troops and such and started placing them out where all the troops were at the time.

Jewlet looked at Grant as he got off. "Okay!" She said as she slowed to a stopped. She quickly got off and patted Jenny. "Good girl." She smiled then she looked down. 'This is not good for a battle.' She looked around and headed inside the castle. She slowed to a stop when something catch her attention. She head out to the gardens and saw people out there. "Hey! Don't you know whats going on! We are under attack..." She said in a low voice as she frowned. "You all need to get to safety quickly." She ordered with her arms crossed. "Get going!"

Her eyes narrowed even moreso. So that was it. She wanted to send each of the old ghouls packing out of her castle to face the enemy she'd yet to see. But she couldn't. She could only reverse what they had done and rebuke them heavily in her own way. This wasn't a time for hasty decisions made in anger. She had to play her moves even more carefully now the enemy had chosen to take a very noticeable stand against her lands. "I would hope not. Did you think his conduct was so irresponsible as to take matters into your own hands?" There was anger in her voice and in her carefully sculpted face. "And to not even inform your royal family?" She hissed out that last statement. She hated such cowardice, such behind-the-scenes trickery. She was their Queen, she ruled the country with her sickened king, not an unimportant twit.
"Tell me, exactly, how badly you think he performed."

 [ armor but silver and without the cap/hat] He lift his head up to look at the Queen. Was he not speak up enough, or did she no notice his presence. Letting out a few coughs, Niro try to address her highness again. "M'lady, please. There is no time to lose. We must get to safety. I'm upset about the situation with Grant also, but that can be taken care of later." Niro hesitated at first, not sure how she would react to him. "Please, tell me where the other's are."

She snapped out of her rage and turned to Niro, smiling warmly. Her eyes however, still shot daggers at the advisers. This was not over, far from it, in actuality. She would allow herself to go with Niro for now, but she would always keep a note of this in her mind. "Okay, I understand." She paused for a moment. "I do not know where my sons are, but Prince Dainne should still be in the music room." As she was saying the words, as calmly as possible, she had a bad feeling in her stomach. Prince Dainne would not disobey her wishes and go, would he? Somehow, the Queen was not so sure. "Yes, we should leave. How are things at the gates?"

[ armor but silver and without the cap/hat] Niro finally got back onto his feet, "My Queen, I can't say for sure what is happening now. But from what has happen, our attackers are reaching the gates. One of your loyal subject, Jewlet, is protecting the wall." Niro went over to see what he can make out. At first he was shock to see the city's siege gate on fire. But was even more surprised to see Grant and Jewlet riding up to the castle. Niro raised and eyebrow at this. He seems pretty happy, what did I miss? Shaking his head, the young lad figured that is wasn't his business. He turn to the Queen, "Correction your highness. The attackers are at the city's gate. Not sure how long that will hold. As for the civilians, they are safe inside the castle. Grant has recovered Jewlet and has just arrived at the castle. He should be working out a plan by now." Niro walked over to the Queen ." Now you said something about Prince Dainne. He must be the man I saw yesterday. We need to get him to safety as well. We don't want other kingdom thinking that we don't take care of our guest."

Leon stalked around the courtyard, observing the hurried movements of the soldiers. Clearly something is going on that shouldn't be. Let's just stop and ask shall we?
As one of the guards passed him heading off to some unknown destination, Leon quickly grabbed his shoulder and spun him about. Before the man could recover from the shock of being so violently ripped of his path, Leon grabbed him around the collar, thus preventing him from retaliating. When the man saw Leon's face, it turned a shade whiter. It was obvious Leon's reputation had spread because of his past actions. "Good Day there my friend. Now, would you be so kind as to tell me what fool event has turned you into an idiotic chicken with its head cut off?"
The guard made a feeble attempt to escape before looking fearfully at the man who held him. "We are under attack by an unknown force. According to Sir Grant it is a heavily armed group of horseman. They have already lit fire to the first gate! now let me go before Captain Grant does something worse to me than you ever could!"
Sighing, Leon threw the man to the side and folded his arms. Well now. A Kingdom that has been at peace for many a year suddenly comes under attack so soon after we arrive. It couldn't be about us... but what about that glow from the Prince's sword. Come to think of it, that Captain Grant fellow said something about glowing doors as well. A sudden realization came to Leon, and he turned and began sprinting back to the castle interior. I must tell the Prince!

After Jewlet had done that she went up to the second level. She stopped to take a breath. Looking up at the door she exited to the outside where the knights were watching the city and proparing for what may come up. Her breath went back to normal and she carefully made her way through. She looked through a group of men and watched with them.
