Joker returned the salute, in a half-mocking fashion, and said, "Come on now, Stargirl, who wouldn't trust a face like mine?" His face hidden from Gossamer and Rosie by his hand from the salute, and the Manhunter having his back turned, he threw a wink at Stargirl. He'd let her decide the meaning behind it, if she caught it before she turned around. If not, oh, well. He turned back to Gossamer and Rosie, and asked, "Alright, now that THAT little distraction's out of the way, I ask again: Home, Bat-hunt, or Spider-Hunt?"

She had caught it alright and wondered on a thin line between crazy and creepy, but the guy was at least funny and she had taking home some souvenirs so it was all good, but something told her that it wouldn't be the last.

"I want justice Mr. Elliot...Maybe deciding to kill you is not the best course of action..."
The Phantasm wasn't going to try to kill a man who technically committed no crime yet other than his history with Bruce Wayne and may actually prove to be a useful informant in events going on in the world instead. The Phantasm came out from the smoke with no battle stance ready; his walk made him appear he was floating across the ground.
"What do you know about Batman’s activities?"

Hush smirked at the question. He decided against using Bruce Wayne's real name; if the guy was another one of the Bat's usual enemies, he'd try to rob Tommy of his rightful revenge. Other than that, he was truthful. "I don't know ANYTHING about his current whereabouts or activities. I'm looking for him, just like you." He wasn't about to mention his knowledge of where the Batcave was. Batman went to great lengths to make sure that the fact that Tommy knew it never made it to any records; besides, if everyone knew he knew, everyone would want him to tell them, and that would be detrimental, just as detrimental as telling this guy Batman's real name.

"Do not play coy, Mr. Elliot...I have no time for games...Maybe we can help each other...I know he is either in the Justice League Satellite or Wayne manor...If we both go to his cave, we may be able to use the teleporter there to find him in the Justice League Satellite."
Thomas Elliot was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne if Tylor remembered correctly, but it was unknown in his files if he knew about Batman's identity. No doubt Bruce Wayne would keep any information on Elliot's file that could lead anyone back to him under wraps or completely wiped. The Phantasm's smoke disappeared soon and all that was left was the Phantasm himself; not fear gimmicks were going to be needed in recruiting an ally.

HUsh thought a second. "Hmmm..." Damn. He knew about Wayne's alter ego. Ah, well. "Sounds like a plan to me. One condition, though. I get to kill Wayne. If I don't get that, no deal."

"Fine, you can try to kill him; I just want to beat him at his own game, to prove I make Gotham a safer place."
The Phantasm knew Batman couldn't die too easily and if he didn’t, there was always going to be a Batman, no matter what. The Phantasm didn't want to admit it, but the world needed Batman to run properly; his way of dealing with crime using his intellect rather than brawns made sure the world wouldn't be ruled by stupidity.

Hush nodded. "In that case, call me Tommy." He held out a hand for the man. "Unless the hero-types are around. Then it's Hush."

"I prefer to keep things formal Mr. Elliot, but I will abide by your request...I'm the Phantasm."
It added to the freaked out factor to call people by their last name, though Tylor kept silent when he fought opponents he didn't know the names of. To make himself efficient, the Phantasm often did plenty of research of people just for the purpose of knowing their last name and instill fear into their hearts by seeming supernatural.

//...so...much...catching up...//
Gossamer smiled a bit. "Well, they all sound good to me (especially home). I'll be fine with whatever or whoever we run into first." she purred.
Sapphire jumped a bit when she heard what sounded like an earthquake and again moved to where she could see. It looked like an entire city block had just been taken out. From what she had no idea. She stared at it a moment, then felt her heart stop a moment. Her appartment was in the path of that thing...just...perfect....

Hush said, "Well, keep it formal if you want, but if you're going to do that, it's Dr. Elliot. I still have my license. It's still Hush around the do-gooders, though." Hush had never heard of anyone with the name 'Phantasm' before, and it sounded like the guy watched too many operas, coming up with a name like that. His own nickname was due to the fact that Dr. Crane, the Scarecrow himself, was his doctor when he was locked up for assaulting that one kid for taking his mother's necklace from him. Thomas Elliot did not allow poeple to get away with people taking his things. Dr. Crane used to sing the nursery rhyme 'Hush Little Baby' when Tommy flew into a more psychotic fit, thus his name. He shook himself from his mental reverie and said, "First things first. I need my guns."
Joker liked the sound of that. He liked it a lot. "How about this... We head back home, for now, and then tomorrow, we get a good start on that Spider-hunt. Bat-hunting is no good during the day, he only come out at night. Once dusk sets in, we shift gears to going after the Bat-freak. Sound good?"

"I prefer use of melee weaponry...But if you are good with guns, I'm sure we can find some suitable replacements...With so much cause...And these unpredictable disasters, a gun store might be available to commandeer a set of pistols."
With the earthquake happening, no doubt gun stores would be abandoned across Gotham, unless Hush wanted his very own pistols and the Phantasm lacked the knowledge of where those exact pistols went. If Hush knew, the Phantasm wasn't exactly giddy to go after a set of guns that could be lost forever or destroyed; what had exactly happened to them anyway? The Phantasm didn't care as long as Hush abided by the Phantasm's heroism and not by his own villainy.

Hush smirked. "I can fight both ways, and therefore I choose to do so. Besides, If you're good at hand-to-hand, I'm a dead eye with a set of pistols." And scalpels, too, but those were for when he needed them. "You up close, and me further off, keeping him on the defensive. We can't lose."

"Obviously he won't be alone, so we must plan this so that he is alone...We can wait at his manor or we could try to get him away from his allies with a personal matter...We need to find Robin...Whichever one is alive in this time period and still possesses the title as Robin, maybe find one of his other sidekicks..."
Batman had a long history of sidekicks coming and going. There were at least several Robins, two becoming Nightwing and Red Hood, but the Phantasm was unsure on the current location of the third Robin if there was one. Whoever was Batman's current weakness, the Phantasm wanted to exploit it. Hush probably knew of a few of Batman’s sidekicks, probably more then the Phantasm.

Harley got up suddenly. "I need cake...they sell cake here right?" She said as she looked at the glass covered display case. "I...I think they do." Ivy said a bit confused. This girl was so smart but so random sometimes, and so spunky. "I want some...want to stay pumped up." Ivy raised one eyebrow and nodded as she looked back to the computer. Ivy was starting to understand this girl. She ran on pure sugar. That is why she worshiped such a nutjob. She had become dependent on sugar highs to bounce back when he hit, neglected her, rejected her, and basically was inhuman to her. One day her sweet tooth for both of the sugar and the man, if you could call him that. He played with toys and played jokes all day, that were usually not even funny at that. She opened her web browser to pass the time after looking back to see Harely leaning over the counter of the coffee shop looking at the delectables under the glass. Ivy looked back to her computer screen as she looked at the news. Of course someone had noticed the explosion the night before. She read a little and quickly exited the site when she heard Harly's light skip back to her. She tried to act like nothing was there. "You want any?" She said putting it down. German chocolate cake. "Are you really going to eat that?" Ivy asked looking at the huge peice of cake Harley had plopped down on the table. Ivy wouldn't mention her thoughts of Joker and a mystery woman who was with him. Or any of the other details now floating around her head. Harley was too happy to bring her down, she was too focused on this new life. Maybe without knowing that hurtful truth she could move beyond him. Maybe she didn't need anger towards him to kick that habbit, even if sugar was going to be harder habbit. Harley on the other hand was happy, to be sure. She loved having a partner that treated her as an equal. That treated her like she mattered. Treated her like she was a partner. But at the same time the thought of missing her pudd'n was heavy on her heart too. One partner couldn't replace the other but she could maybe get the best of both worlds. Make a new friend, and get back her hunny. All she had to do was make enough of a fuss that she could give him something. And that is when it clicked, she needed to give him not something, he didn't want something, he wanted someone...and...it was the dark knight himself. The mask detective, it was the one thing Joker wanted more then her, at least in her mind. She didn't say anything just filed it back in her mind. She would get Joker and Batman's attention, and then her and Ivy would do what no one else had been able to do, trap batman, and give him as a gift to her pudd'n. She would have it all, now all she had to do was work with Ivy to make a big pull of loot, then figure out a trap for batman, easy as cake.
