Celestina tensed up as soon as the twins entered, but relaxed with Ashe's back up. She wondered where the dragon was now that he wasn't with the twins. She truned to look out a window to see if he was wandering out there, but failed. All she could see out the window from her stand point was a brick wall.

Violet almost hurled herself from her chair when she heard Moriarty's voice, but restrained herself when the Queen spoke to him. As clam as she could, she then began answering Ashe's question. "Yes, that was her... but I'm not sure where she is now. I thought she was following me earlier, but I guess I was mistaken." Quietly she sat there as her brain rolled through the possible scenarios that could happen if he did not leave as he was asked to do.

Moriarty winced when she mentioned disfavour towards Illusion. He sighed, and then waved an exasperated hand in the air. "All right, Queen, if you insist. We'll just go get our food elsewhere, then." He began to walk out of the room, and took one last peek over his shoulder before leaving. "I'll see you later, Zig. Don't forget to write home." And he was gone.
Kat gave his brother a strange look, asking an inherent question, but his only response was a grin from Moriarty as they walked out of the castle and into the rain.
((They're just going to sit outside for a while since they obviously aren't welcome neutral . I'll make an exit post if they go somewhere else.))

Zig glanced between the twins and those at the table. Evidently she had missed something in her dazed wanderings before dinner. She presumed the twins had done something to offend the nobles, which wasn't particularly surprising considering what she knew about Moriarty and his temperament. Sensing the tension Zig said quickly, "I'm sorry for whatever the twins have done to displease you and I hope it will not hinder our alliance." However she figured her attempts at diplomacy were rather late. I really need to pay more attention if I'm going to do this job well... She nodded at the exiting twins, but looked a tad bit confused and amused at Moriarty's reminder.

"Well that saved us a trip." Vincent unsheathed his sword while keeping his other arm up with his palm facing Tassen, like how someone would tell another to stop. He then drove the masterwork sword into the ground so that it would stand on its own. "He bids me to let you grasp the handle, as he actually wishes to talk to you directly." He then stepped back and motioned for the great dragon to grasp the sword.

((you could go to the Merchant's place, we're stuck in a thunder storm))
Ashe didn't answer at first, thinking of how to arrange her thoughts vocally. "So far I have not seen much that promotes an alliance with Air." She said quietly as she took another sip from her drink. "But I am sure that there is much going on that only a few from your nation are aware of, like the intentions of your monarch..." She set her cup down to look at Zig. "But I shall try to keep from judging your nation until I have a chance to speak with Illusion myself."

Kat and Morr sighed simultaneously as they marched away from the shelter of the castle and into the rain. There was a flash of lightning in the distance, and in that little blink, suddenly the two brothers were invisible. They made their way out to find Illusion.

Tassen was ready for the attack that never came as this person drew his weapon. However, he sank it into the ground instead of trying for his chest.
It was then that Tassen recognized the sword, and it's heritage. "How did you? Never mind." Tassen started to speak, but thought better of it. It was insubstantial how that sword came to this man. Changing into his human form, Tassen approached the sword. Thunder could be heard in the distance, and rain started to fall from the sky. It didn't bother Tassen any though.
Gripping the sword's hilt, Tassen waited. He had no idea what the sword was suppose to do, but he knew it meant him no harm.

The rain splattered on Vincent's traveling cloak, the cowl pulled low, as he watched the great dragon grasp the hilt of the legendary sword. He smirked a little, his long awaited objective complete. He absent mindedly reached out to the flaming beast standing beside him, the rain hissing as it hit his fine coat of flames, and evaporated nearly instantly.
As Tassen grasped the swords hilt, a slight tingle ran through his arm, as he was not of the blood of the Eastern royalty. However the sword did not outright harm him as it would normally do so when a stranger grasped it's handle. Emotions and images rushed through Tassen's head as the sword started to communicate to the dragon. "Greetings Tassen, it sure has been awhile. How many years has it been?" A familiar voice spoke to him, directly to his mind.

Tassen pulled his hand back, mostly due to the tingling sensation. The voice sounded familiar, from about a thousand years ago. There was no mistaking it. Grabing the handle once more, he knew what to expect. He hoped this worked, seen as usually he couldn't do this in his human form. "I do recognize your voice. You were a friend. Over a thousand years ago. The only undead being I have ever followed."
Lightning surged above them in a crackle as the sword and Tassen spoke. The rain turned into a down pour. "If you want, the castle is only but a few steps from here. Just stay on the main path and you'll find it. I shall return the sword to you when we are done." Tassen was referring to the man in front of him. The one with the beast of flame. "If they ask, tell them you are a guest of Tassen."

"My body may have been turned into that foul state, but my soul was never taken from me. Actually it was because of this very sword that I was not like the other undead." The sword paused for a moment, and a sensation of sorrow pulsed through the blade into Tassen. "Actually that is why I have asked Vincent to approach you. I wish to renew the old vow you made long ago. I wish for you to follow my descendant, and protect him as best you can. I feel that he is indeed the last of my blood." Sorrow again filtered from the sword.
Vincent waved away the thought of going into the castle and leave his precious sword out in the rain. "The rain does not bother me." The flame beast roared its comment, and remained by it's masters side, the rain hissing even more as it slashed on the creature. "I will wait for you." Then a squeak came from somewhere on Vincent's person, and a bag started to wiggle abnormally. "I know, I know, you don't like the rain, that's why your in the bag!" Vincent exclaimed at the wiggling bag. "I promise as soon as we get into the castle, I'll let you out. But don't cause any trouble, you hear!" Another squawk and the bag stopped wiggling.

Tassen considered for a moment. "You know me friend. I shall do what I can. But I must tell you, I have pledged my loyalty to the current Air Nation. I will not break my oath there. Within that oath, I shall protect and help your descendant, seen as I failed at protecting so much in your time." Tassen was saddened by his failure again. He was taking in another charge, but this was one from a loyalty from long ago. He would do what he could for the young child.

"I understand." Was all the sword ever said. Waves of comfort and understanding flowed from the sword.
The bag started to wiggle again. "I KNOW!" Vincent yelled at it. "I think it is about time to head inside. If there is still unfinished business between the two of you, then I advise that we bring it inside." He then started to approach the sword and Tassen, meaning to take the sword back from the earth it was residing in, and sheath it.

Tassen let go of the sword, so that the man could grab it again. Realizing that he was soaked, as well as the other man, Tassen changed forms. "I might not be that agile on the ground, but my wings can shelter you from the rain." Tassen held a wing out, providing a place of cover. There was enough room for the man and the fiery beast as well.
Once they where under cover, Tassen started to walk to the castle. He wondered how much of this deal did the man know already, or did the sword keep his secrets from the man. He just thought he would figure it all out later. He was slowly prodding along, looking like a large, glowing scaly bird more than a majestic dragon. A crash of thunder boomed overhead as lightning struck ground someplace.

"I would greatly appreciate it your Majesty," Zig answered with a bow of her head. "The twins are not diplomats..." And neither am I for that matter. "They tend to do whatever they wish and Moriarty at least is rather mischievous. I am very sorry for their actions and I certainly hope Illusion will make things clearer soon." Since I'm about as confused as you all are... Zig took a sip of her drink after speaking and hoped she looked at least somewhat official. Though she was inexperienced in this area of work she was determined to do her best to aid her country.
