Okay, so I JUST got back from my family doctor and he said everything I wanted to hear. Which was A. I have external hemroids, B. I did all the work the surgeons would have if I had gone to the ER BEFORE it burst, and C. everything was going to be fine.

Let me say one thing before I stop posting for another month: If you bleed a pint of blood from your a**, homosexual or otherwise, GO SEE A DOCTOR. Anyway, I'm gonna go clean up terrorism, bye bye.

Wow. That's... really nasty. Medical problems become about ten times worse any time they enter the a**-region of the body. Are you gonna have to get new bedsheets.

And yes for picture! I wanna see what you look like. Maybe I'll see if I can scrounge up a picture of me, eh? Oooh, no, I'm gonna put up a picture of my dog. He's the bestest dog EVER.

And school is over! Awesome. mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen I won't know my final grades for a while yet, but I got anywhere from a 2.75 to a 3.25. I'm hoping it's the latter, because last sememster I got a 2.75 and that's the lowest I can get and still keep my scholarship. I needed to get at least an 85 on my math final to get an A in the class, and a 90 on my Comp final to get a B in the class. Soooooooo yeah.

I call this "Distant Drew (Andrew in the Distance)". It's before I got my hair cut.

User Image

Not bad, for a first shot of the night. But definitely not my best. After the hair cut (and a recent shower).

User Image

I call this one "Look Above the Gilded Mirror". You can see Mama in her wedding dress in the bottom left picture on the wall.

I had to take these (above two) pictures by myself, so I looked in a mirror to get the brightness and angle right, but it kept coming out...forced. So I looked up in half-exasperation and half-plea, and sure enough, when I accidentally clicked the button, it was exactly the picture I had been wanting to take.

User Image

And this is Mama. I just thought you guys might want to see the woman behind the poem. This picture, on top of the piano, can make me cry if I'm not careful. Oh, god, but isn't she something?

That's all my pictures for tonight.

-Andrew

I'm BACK! I missed you guys so much! Leavy-Kun, your mom is so pretty. And she looks like she was the sweetest person ever.

Here are some photos for you!

This is me when we went to Sea World.

I tried on these sun glasses that looked like shot glasses with limes on them and the girl who worked there yelled across the store "You can't take pictures in the store! You can purchase the item and then take a picture of it outside." I was so angry and embarrassed. Way to never make me come back in your lame store, shop girl!

This one I thought you would find amusing. It's an asian super market! It's called Vien Dong III. They sell fresh everything. Live fish, clams, lobsters and crabs. They also sell pigs noses, feet and anything else you can think of. I had to go there to get some egg roll and pot sticker pastries to make egg rolls and pot stickers. They were yummy.

(It smells like fish ALL THE TIME in that store. So much that you forget what fresh air smells like and let out an "ahhh...." when you leave.)

We've got TONS of asian markets where I live. The best one is called Dong A II, they sell these awesome candys dalles "Haw Flakes". In the back there's this butcher shop that sells (among other things) duck heads and necks... they've got these sad little dead eyes, and there's always blood dripping from the display case to the floor, mixing with the water from the air conditioning... yeah, we don't go in the back much.

Drew, your hair is waaay longer then I expected it to be. And your eyes in the first picture are really pretty.

And look! It's my dog!

User Image

OH. MY. GOD. Zephyr is the best dog ever. *snuggles him*

Of course, this was taken a year ago... now he's a big galumphing crazy-dog. This is what he looks like now:

It's so cool everyone is putting up pictures. I have these images in my head of what I think you guys would look like, but of course they are way wrong. Arrow your dog was so cute, in the later one it looks like he is giving you the evil eye or something.

Well just to join in the fun here is one of me. It's on my profile so you may have already seen it. I'm not very photogenic and it is one I took of myself for profile pictures, so yea...

User Image

Oh man, it's huge oh well I'm too lazy to make it smaller.

What is up with all of you pretty people!?! Stop it! You're making me look bad!

Although, that dog is precious. Okay, he can totally stay cute. But for the rest of you, UGLIFY! Leavy-Kun commands it!

Uhm...yeah. Asian supermarkets. Sounds...ah...culturally rich....

Oh, and uh...I don't think you'll be hearing from me tomorrow. It's, uhm, well, it's the anniversary of Mama's death. The second, actually. And I'm going to the grave with my sister. My grandma would drive me nuts and my brother would annoy me. Nope...my sister's the only one who really gets it, I think.

Anyway, I thought I'd let you know.

Sooooooo, just got back from the doctor and apparently my last blood test showed that I have low thyroid functions (or however you say it). They're gonna do more tests, but I'll probably have to be put on thyroid replacement medication... but in the meantime, I get to say IT'S NOT MY FAULT, I HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM! Hur hur hurrrr... mrgreen

And Drew, I give you hugs *huuuug*

Thanks. It...means a lot. I don't know. People have tried avoiding it or expanding on it, but they've failed. What you have done is the only thing that anyone can do, I think. There are too many feelings and memories for words. Too much thought and truths for words. Only the language of touch can express it clearly. A gentle squeeze of the hand says Trust. Empathy. Companionship. A clap on the shoulder states Understanding. Strength. Reliance. A full hug proclaims Camaraderie. Surrender of boundaries. Communion. A kiss on the cheek whispers Gentleness. Purity. Joining. Hope. A kiss on the lips....

I'm sorry. I got sidetracked. Where was I? Ah, yes. Of course. Only the language of touch can truly express such feelings completely in a single act. And with skin to skin, the boundaries are far fewer. Those of us who know best the language of touch can best appreciate those small gestures of human compassion. It's an easy enough thing to learn--you just open yourself to it. That's really all there is to it. Intimate contact is, after all, the surest way to learning anything.

And I'm getting quite good at it, if I may say so myself.

(If only ending were that easy....)

-Andrew

Anyway. Yeah...have any of you ever heard of a game called "Gay Chicken"? Literally, the game is played like this: Two guys (or girls) try to kiss each other, but, being themselves straight, don't actually kiss. The key is to be the second one to pull away. That's how you win.

You know what I thought when I heard this? That is SO gay.

Still, two of the guys were playing it. One tried doing it to me, but I reined my head in, and told him, "You two may be gay chickens, but I'm the gay fox." Laughter ensued, followed by the rejoinder: "That's so gay." But what I meant shone through. Don't flirt with me unless you're prepared for me to flirt back. If you try to kiss me, be prepared for a full-blown kiss. I'm not a chicken, to flash my feathers at every sign of intimacy. I'm a fox, red and wily and predatory--and so very good at what I do.

Still, I don't flirt much anymore. At least...not as loudly. Now it's in a look, a brush of the pants. A lick of the lips. It could only be coincidence. But it's not. It's not and they know it. I make them know it. Seduction is an art, and artless flirtation, while useful sometimes (and actually having a certain art in itself), can never compare to the hunting flirtation that is much more subtle. Subtler, but louder. Loud like the rumble of an earthquake. But deeper. Richer. Truer. When I get a man in my sights, I pursue. I become The Hunter and he becomes me. Together our hearts beat. Together our breath pulls and our pulse races. Suddenly I see myself in my prey (a hunter in disguise, to be sure), and I know he sees himself in me.

It's a side of me I never knew. Exhilarating and exhausting. Deep and quiet and gentle and unrelenting as the fall of night. He cannot escape me. And I can't escape him. It is our curse. Our blessing. We lose ourselves in that stare. All the walls fall and the obstacles smash and the bridges crumble because suddenly there is no him and no me, and yet a fierceness clings to these things, too. A fierceness I cannot explain, save as a love of the self.

My face is red as I type this, but I do not blush. It is the chase running through my blood that moves me so.

Love and Vale,
-Andrew
