Reya scrunched her face up at the sound of another person's voice. She then raised her hands and covered her ears. The sound was not loud or anything of that sort, however she did not really care for conversation when she was in this state. Normally Reya would be very open, social, and would love to partake in a nice conversation with someone that she had not met yet, but right after waking up, Reya could be the complete opposite. So instead Reya realeased the grip she had on her right ear and tried with all of her strength to wave politely. "Hello."

Satomi did not move. She showed no inidcation she had heard Keno, once he'd move to sit next to her and spoke. It took a few moments, but the young girl spoke without raising her head. Her voice was quiet, muffled somewhat from being curled in, but it could be heard clearly. "You have nothing to apologize for. I do.." The words trailed off, before she fell silent again. Sighing heavily, her grip on her arms eased up, leaving purple nails marks.

She did not uncurl, but her head lifted. Emerald orbs stared straight forward, void of feeling though there was a ghost of pain lingering. By the time this was all over, the young woman would be jaded, and no longer the ahppy-go-lucky girl she was. A bitter smile curved her lips, before she spoke again. "I'm being stupid Keno. I know he can't care for me.. but.. I still hope." Her face faded back to blank, eyes staring straight forward.

Reya looked up again, not at the guy this time, but at his beverage. She did not care for sodas, in fact she does not drink them at all. Just looking at one was enough to make her cringe a little, on the inside though. Reya was horrible at expressing her true feelings, whether they be love or hate. Although, the soda did remind her of her own thirst, and the fact that she needed something to quench it. Reya knelt down, bent her knees, and balanced herself on her toes as she reached below the bar counter for a bottled water. She then sat back down in her stool, twisted the cap open, and drank. One sip of the water was enough to revitalize her from post sleep tiredness. "Oh, I'm so sorry for my rudeness. Who are you?"

Keno actually giggled to himself silently, not trying to make light of the situation, but trying to lift her spirits. When had he laughed with her since this entire thing began. Always serious he was, frowning, maybe smiling warmly, but not laughing. "The power of hope Sato chan. It's what connects everyone here. Ichi hoped that she could be a woman that Tali could care for. Jade hoped to be stronger by now to kill Caine. User hopes to defeat me someday and I..." he trailed off almost instantly, keeping the lid closed on his hopes, though he had confessed them before. "No matter what planet, reality, or time frame we come from we have hope. No matter if we're vampire, werewolf, demon, android, or mages, we have hope. Man or woman, boy or girl, we have hope. Hope is what connects everyone as being human, even if just a little." What did this have to do with anything? He seemed to be rambling once more, but he hoped part of the message would make her feel better.

A chuckle escaped past her lips, nothing more then a short and bitter sound. Right now, hoping was pointless, in her opinion. Though, she was greatful for Keno making an effort to cheer her up. It would be a while yet, before the dull ache in her chest lifted, merely because her emotions lingered. Turning her head, a tiny smile curved her lips. It did not full reach her eyes, but it was better then the blank expression.

Slowly she uncurled her body, finding it a touch uncomfortable. Her feet slipped further out, body pressing against her uppr thighs as her arms came under to hand her fingers link together. A thoughtful frown tugged at her lips, thinking on something. She had yet to say anything, not sure what she should. "I'm wrong in all this, aren't I Keno? For once, I'm on the bad side.." Her brow creaed slightly, troubled by the thought she was the source of pain.

"Well..." Reya said, she crossed her left leg over her right thigh. "...I know this place and the people like the back of my palm. Who are you looking for?" She set her water down on the counter and folded her hands together, then setting her hands on the counter as well.
