misternitsua Carchar-odin What the ******** is up with League of Legends? Everyone's playing it. I don't get it. I'd make a statement, but first I wanna know what it is you don't get about League. Everything. I've never been interested in it. What the hell is it about?

EDIT: Basically you have a base, and the other team has a base, and you want all their base to belong to you. So you ******** their s**t up by means of destroying statues that shoot ******** laser beams at you and kill the s**t out of the enemies trying to do the same to your s**t. This is usually accompanied by hilarious quantities of trolling, nerd rage, trolling nerd rage, mind games, trolling, half-baked strategy, trolling, screaming HELPMEHELPMEHELPME on Skype, counter-trolling, faggotry, trolling, butthurt, trolling, aaaaaaaaaangst, trolling, and occasional alcohol abuse.

In the meantime, all of you... Try your hand at Tyrian 2000It's one of the best shooter games out there. I played this game so much as a kid. But hey, don't take my word for it being awesome; check out what the folks at TV Tropes have to say about it.Arcade mode is pretty straightforward: kill s**t and get power-ups from them. Story mode allows you to purchase and customize your ship with point you earn from the levels. Here's a recap of my last arcade session:  Missles are a man's best friend. They're not nearly as useless as most people think either.  Spikes are no match for my manliness.  This guy's ship had claws, but I destroyed them because I ******** rule.  Hahahaha, I bring death upon all!!!!  A zeppelin getting it's s**t owned.  Another ship looking to mess with me.  It's around here that the game gets a bit harder. There are more enemies flying around and they eat more damage.  GIANT FREAKIN LAYZER!!!111  This is one guy I'm having trouble with right now. If you prefer to be adept at depriving yourself of things that rule, then don't bother downloading the game here for free.

I may not have spent my childhood with a console until the N64, but I sure as s**t experienced the 16-bit and 32-bit era in these games. I was able to find One Must Fall online somewhere... but I had forgotten how to play. :I I actually have the poster that came with the original game hanging on the wall behind my monitor. I think it was available on a site that was trying to remake OMF, but in 3D. I'm reasonably certain that project fell through, though. This is making me want to look for Jazz Jackrabbit. 83 Brodammit, I am nostalgia-ing so hard right now. ZZT, Jetpack, Duke Nukem, that one futuristic car game I absolutely sucked at...
