B-but it makes the hero seem unbeatable, which is lame and boring.Uh, clearly he was not unbeatable, as None of the other Lanterns survived their encounters with the bad guy, even the guy who was the best in the whole universe before Ryan here. razz Cookeh makes an excellent point. Superman....ehh .....wait, so you want the hero to die by pathetic villain with no powers at all? Tonton, I'm so confused by your Point. I think you misunderstand the "Superhero" part of this whole superhero thing....

Or, many reasons, really, but that's one of them: that he's still so dangerous without any special powers to speak of.
