Lysithea shuddered and leaned heavily against Ilse, squeezing her hand with trembling fingers.
She heard Faustite asking her to help, asking her to stop the others...stop the White Moon. “Okay...okay Faustite…” Her voice was soft, and she shuddered once more, taking a step towards the youma. “I’m going to save you…I…” Ilse’s magic began to take effect once again and she swallowed, biting her lip to stop it trembling.
Lysithea couldn’t do anything. Cosmos had abandoned them. Cosmos hadn’t listened when she called…she couldn’t do anything.
Her next step brought her to her knees, giving a confused sound, the last of her feathers falling off her buttwings, the last of the white being swallowed up on her outfit.
There was fear in her eyes as she looked up at Faustite and swallowed hard. “...I’m sorry...I’m so sorry…I wanted to save you all...”
A cry ripped from Lysithea’s throat as her hair grew suddenly, the chaos fully contaminating her starseed.
There was a dazed look in the newly corrupted senshi’s eyes and they landed on the fire, confusion evident. “...What?”
And then the world gave a great spin, darkness swallowing her as her body began to acclimate to the changes that had been wrought. As consciousness left her, Lysithea slumped sideways.
Unofficial, but just for a possible visual!

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn HP: 0 Action: Accepting Dae's offer of help, asking Yomi to come with! Damage: N/A Location: F6
"I could use some help standing," Aokligahara admitted. But with the Chaos flooding the field, her other offer...he couldn't take that. "And we need to get out of here. Yomi, please," he pleaded, hoping that Chaos wasn't clouding his mind too much.
He looked to Yomi, heart clenching in his chest. So recently freed--whatever power Aokigahara had to prevent it, he would not let him be taken again.
"...Your friend's name," Aokigahara said, voice soft. "What was it? And what is yours?" He didn't know either of them. But that could change. "I am Aokigahara, of Saturn."
It was the first time since this started that Lysvi felt they were all hearing the whole truth, and in some ways, they appreciated that. Knowing what was wrong. Knowing the reason why everything was happening the way it was, knowing the reason why they were even on Earth -- but was it the reason? They had been told they were here to observe the senshi and the knights, see what they knew, see what they understood, learn their places in space -- and Lysvi hadn't nearly seen enough, they supposed --
But what did ejecting the promises they made to the others that still lived do? What did this do? What did--
What did another one of the Negaverse killing one of their own do? Gavaen fell, and they choked on their own air. Fae-fae went after his murderer. Commander Cydfae went after his murderer. Itztenoch went after his murderer. They stayed there.
One of the senshi--Scylla--came and apologized for her transgression. Offered help. Offered them a place to live. The Encke she mentioned did similar. One of them flung himself at Lyndin and begged the knights to keep attacking him. They were clearly attached to Caedus, but more than that, it caught their attention that even in spite of the betrayal, there were still some who were willing to offer help.
The Neptunian knight (Pendour), too.
Yddagen spoke. Their twin. Someone who they would go to the ends of the universe and back for, even as much as they squabbled. As much as they were opposites, they were the same.
And he spoke, asking what the point of this was. Suggested the starseed was safer in Caedus. Suggested they put it back.
Lysvi looked in the air above them. Would have probably been safer away from here, too.
They could see the sadness in Lyndin's eyes when they looked back to him. There was a part of them that felt bad about their part in this. There was another part that felt sad about the way the response was coached -- that it didn't matter, that the planet was dying, and Caedus was therefore a respectable sacrifice no matter what his thoughts were on it. That they couldn't adapt to him. That they couldn't adapt to him as they had adapted to so much else.
Lysvi choked and held their face in their hands for a moment, trying to hold back tears as a wave of emotion nearly knocked them over.
They attempted to breathe.
Something Yddagen said struck them. Suffering that didn't need to happen. The suffering of the senshi and knights. The suffering of Caedus. Their suffering. The suffering of Caerynn, of Velyria, of Gavaen. This was all just so much suffering, incomprehensible suffering--
"Why are we continuing the cycle of suffering? This isn't what Velencians should do."
Lysvi's voice was thin.
"Why can't we adapt to him? Why can't we take up the offers of help?"
They held their arms a bit closer to themselves in a self-protective hug.
They trusted Lyndin. They understood they needed to leave. They tried to follow Lyndin. Lysvi badly wished for a different solution.

Cadet Naeria HP: 3 Action: Weakly arguing Damage n/a Location: following Lyndin to D3
Gavaen, too.
Velyria and Caerynn had died outside of her field of vision, but she had a perfect view of the way that the dark senshi put her hand into Gavaen's chest and removed his starseed.
Swaying on her feet, she could do little more than whimper at the sight of him collapsing. The tears had never stopped.
"I almost died trusting you," she said, voice much quieter this time.
Still, she stepped forwards. She followed the Commodore and with that, technically followed her orders.
"This isn't right. We should adapt, like Fae-Fae said. We should all-"
A flash of pain through her temple cut her off, and this time she she swayed farther, knees buckling as she collapsed against Andreyia's chest.
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: General Ashanite HP: 62 Action: WHO'S NEXT Damage: N/A yet Location:
It was impressive of Spacewatch, Ashanite had to admit, to headbutt a General. He was left briefly disoriented, from the sheer surprise of being yanked down and in if nothing else. There was a certain amount of boldness there.
And then she bit him, while he was briefly too dazed to react.
He hissed, using all his Chaos-empowered strength to shove her back, giving her his most contemptuous glare.
"I don't need a ******** attack dog," he snarled, "I need a competent ******** officer who can hit what she's damned well aiming at."
Perhaps, later, Ashanite would have more compassion. Spacewatch was obviously in pain--and her eternal, violent refusal to change, by reputation, sort of made him want to discover what was wrong. But right then, with Chaos flowing through his veins, under the eyes of the Queen he loved and admired?
Ashanite had no pity for anyone.
Jet and Aquamarine moved to defend him, and Ashanite gladly took the offered hand to lean on, bloody or no--his head was still spinning, and a little blood on his uniform wasn't exactly a consequence he was afraid of.
"I'm fine," he told Jet. "Or, I will be. A little rattled, but nothing I can't handle."
He was still getting his bearings when the Eternal with the blue hair attacked Jet, and he snarled, straightening and shifting his grip so that he could move to defend the other General as Jet had defended him.
Daesva nodded down at the Squire, crouching down and clasping his forearm to begin carefully pulling him up somewhat so he was more leaning against her left side, his arm over her shoulder and held tightly with her right hand.
As she stood, she pushed herself up slowly, giving him time to adjust his feet, to lean on her more when needed. Daesva didn't really waver. She remained steady, patient. He'd helped her, after all. Rynn had died protecting the White Moon cats. Leaving the knights...
It went against everything Rynn had just done.
When at last to her feet, she again waited a moment till he seemed to steady himself. His question had been ignored during all this. Both. Now, she finally said, voice... neutral. Blank. A facade she was forcing into place, now that her emotions had run most of their course for now. No, that was a lie. She was merely able to start shoving them back in a box.
It'd crack open again later and she'd be a mess again.
But that could be done later.
She looked towards the jagged crystals protecting her. "...she was Caerynn. I am Daesva." His introduction had been of Saturn. She thought of Velencia, of the Vanguard. She thought of Lyndin and Caedus. "...I'm not sure what I am of any more."
Lifting her left hand, blaster still clasped in it, she shot at the agent who'd caused all her grief (Cris). Aiming for her leg. Ideally, to cripple the monster.
"The sooner we are away from this waste of resources, the better," she told the two knights simply, flatly. The look she cast upon the agent mirrored the bite of space itself.

"You were supposed to be keeping her safe, you dumb ********> Her screech blared across the battlefield back towards the white-haired corrupt (Lionel). She'd heard him, though she'd not acknowledged him at the time. He was supposed to keep Gwen safe.
Gwen, who wasn't in her right ******** mind right now.
"How the ******** is any of this safe, you ********' muppet?" Her swearing was about to become much more colorful, and bilingual, and she entirely blamed him right now for every ******** problem. Including, but not limited to:
The pain still going off in her upper back from the burn.
Her best friend not only corrupted, but now a murderer.
Pretty much everything going wrong here today. All his fault. And the fault of this <******** computer. She picked up another rock, and she threw it at the damn thing.
Because even though she wanted to race over, and shield Gwen... Morgan huffed, gritting her teeth, feeling more of that darkness curl around her...
She couldn't. Their anger. Their sorrow. She understood it. And she wouldn't deprive them their just response. Morgan wouldn't allow them to kill Guinevere, but the attacks... she understood.
"Do you see what the ******** Chaos does to us?" This time when she yelled, it was towards Lyndin and any of the Vanguard who even cared to hear the word of a White Moon Senshi. Given all that'd happen, she didn't blame them if none did. "I knew her!" She motioned to Guinevere who now lay curled, trying to protect her ill-gotten prize. "She'd never hurt someone like this, she'd be more likely to break down and end her own life than someone else's. But Chaos <******** with peoples' heads!"Or it lets out the true monster, something inside the back of her mind hissed. Something she didn't want to look at. Something she didn't want to acknowledge.
Morgan had seen the figure in black and green, with cyan eyes just like her own. She'd turned away from him, unwilling to process it now.

The Space Cauldron
shouting at lyndin + his machine's fault this s**t went so south, says morgan
It was extremely stupid for him to be down in the fire section of the battle, and Lich knew it. But he'd been... honestly? Too afraid to attack anything. He'd come by... luck, sort of. Or misfortune. His class had been cancelled, and he figured... why not go see the show with the aliens? Why not see what happens?
Well, he got exactly that!
In the worst possible way!
And Lich had been, ahem, frozen as things unfurled. Now, he groaned, feeling a sharp pain in his chest, noting how parts of his mostly white and blue uniform were going black. "While I enjoy the color, I don't think this look fits me," he murmured, and he'd gone towards one of the last remaining generators.
This was stupid. But he also wasn't sure what else he could do.
"Ice Blossoms," he breathed, as cold air immediately exhaled from his mouth, dropping the temperature in front of him drastically. Delicate ice flowers began to bloom over parts of the generator, icy thorns digging into it. He kept his eye towards the powerful monster and dark senshi, though, more than a bit wary...
But he caught sight of someone else near him, and... despite everything, he laughed slightly. "Oh. Miss, it looks like we match," he noted, genuine amusing making his grey eyes crinkle slightly at the corners.
Ice melted by fire, so this wasn't smart if she (Eivissa) was like him. But he was amused nonetheless.
Quote:
Ice Blossoms
Speaking the name of his attack, Lich focuses on a single target as he breaths in deep, and as he exhales, icy air is seen coming from his mouth. This ice crystal-filled air remains around the single target, dropping the air temperature around them drastically in less than a second. When the temperature drops, frost flowers sprout from the ground, quickly covering the target in a thin layer of fragile, frosty ice that can cause a rash, irritation, or even numbness against any exposed skin. While immobilized by the ice, the ice itself is strong enough to protect the target from any magical or physical attacks, or environmental damage, and the target is still capable of struggling to try and free themselves. However, within the ice, thorns have formed inwards toward the target, and any struggles to free themselves risks the target being poked or sliced by the thorns. This only lasts for 30 seconds, and once Lich's magic fades the air returns to its normal temperature and the ice melts away immediately. Lich can only do this attack three times a day.
Lich's magic is unaffected by temperatures or other magical effects around the target, such as fire or heavy heat, but the ice itself is extremely thin and fragile and will break or melt rapidly upon being touched.
Super Hypatia HP: 75 Action: Hypatia is healing Scylla for 10, and Beta Leporis for 5. Damage - Location: D4
Hypatia hadn't actually intended on going to a battle today. She considered there to be a non-zero chance of being forced to fight her own brother in such a thing, and so had been hesitant to answer the call.
But aliens. Ones that weren't actually dead. They were much too intriguing. And if she understood correctly, helping them out could very well save her brother finally. So, eventually, she did come along.
And, really, it had been a s**t show from the very start. None of this was going well. Somewhat miraculously, her maneuvering around to help keep people not-dead had mostly kept her out of anyone's attention up until this point. Not that she felt fine, though. Oh no. All this chaos warping around felt awful. She thought she might barf at any moment. Is this how Milo felt? she wondered...
Things seemed like they were coming to a head, though. Hopefully in their favor before it was too late for anyone. An Eternal (Scyllla) had been calling for understanding with the aliens, a position she should get behind...She seemed to have drawn the angry nega knives like moths to a flame, so Hypatia moved up near her to offer a bit of assistance.
"This...is not a good place to die," she said, a grimace from all the chaos swirling around making her words sound more severe than necessary. "So try not to..."
As she spoke, she summoned a ball of gently glowing blue waters, and pressed them against her fellow water-themed senshi, assuaging her hurts as best as possible.
Another senshi (Beta Leporis) was clearly in a panic, and if she heard correctly, about something she could relate to deeply...And was also getting targeted. There were far too many people for Hypatia to heal and protect all at once, but she could do a bit, and so more or less darted in and water ballooned Beta, which weirdly enough actually would reduce her pain and injuries just a bit.
Of course, that also meant that Hypatia was now out in the open, putting her in much greater danger than she'd been in for quite some time.
And, to make matters weirder, the coral growths that were a part of Hypatia's uniform seemed to be writhing and growing...and partially merging with her flesh. That was deeply disturbing to her, but she couldn't do much about it right this moment.
Eso - Cadet with a dagger HP: 35 Action: Following Tenoch, acting as back up if attacked Damage: N/A Location: D4 > D3
Without a blaster, Eso was going to focus on any of those who were up close. For now, he would protect Tenoch's back, acting as something of a flesh shield.
Things weren't going right. Generators were going down, so many injuries and deaths to his fellow cadets. Eso's heart was aching and he was beginning to think they were never going to see home aggain. This was their last attempt and everything was wrong. There wasn't enough on their side to turn the tide. There was too much chaos everywhere.
"I don't know what to do!"
And it was true. Those lilac eyes were full of tears, his pupils wide as he tried to think, tried to figure out what was doable, and what was just a nightmare. Lyndin was leading them down a path they wouldn't be able to return from, not really.
So he would stay at Tenoch's back, taking any attacks the others may aim for him. His dagger was clutched in his hand, knuckles white under his gloves. "I've got you, Tenoch. Focus on the agents of Chaos!"
Ice blue eyes caught another senshi using his powers on a generator and so she was going to follow suit. It wasn't the best area, admittedly. Eivissaa cold have picked another, but this particular one looked like it needed help. There were so many in this one area, too. She bit down on her lip, worrying it between her teeth as she moved next to the other ice senshi and shrugged.
"Hey! I'm Eivissa! Is this is what we're attacking?" She asked Lich with a stern voice. Eivissa, however, didn't wait for an answer. It seemed several of their side was attacking these generators if they weren't dealing with physical people/aliens. What an odd battle. There was so much happening that it was really hard to keep track of the whole mission.
A quick introduction was better than none, right?
"Cold blade."
Even the words she spoke were cutting and cold. Her hand comes up and energy gathers around. With a pop of magic that came down in snow flakes and light, a sword of ice appeared above her hand. She launched it at the generator with all her might. She couldn't keep her eyes on the others, she had to focus.
Quote:
Cold Blade
Summons a normal sized icicle sword that floats around her. She launches it with a hand movement. When it hits the target, it 'stabs' them and they feel a deep cold within their bones. They can start to shudder and definitely can be distracted by the cold they feel. Can be used once per battle for 20 seconds.

Page Voyager HP: 50/50 Action: Moving from B2 to D4 and attacking the machine Damage 7 + 3 + 1 = 11 Location: D4
The generator had gone down quickly enough and in all of the confusion Voyager had managed to avoid being hit by anything. That didn't mean the battle was over. He thought he could see Lyndin and the other cadets attempting to leave though he wasn't sure. Whatever they did, he hoped that they survived. Not to come back and attack them, but to save their world in a different way. Why Lyndin thought that it needed to be done this way specifically he didn't know, but he knew that them having an alliance with the Negaverse was not something that could be ignored.
Instead he headed straight towards the largest generator and picking something off of the ground, he didn't know or care what it was, hopefully a rock, and threw it at the machine as hard as he could, hoping that he wouldn't hurt another int he process.
D*** not having Squire magic. He would have been able to do so much more! If he made it out of here in one piece, or at least conscious enough, he would go to his Wonder and think through all of what had just happened.

Squire Imbrium of Castor HP: 37 ( 75 - 5 - 15 - 15 - 18 + 15 ) Action: Attacking the console Damage 1d10 + 5 (rank) +2 (faction) (shield magic, no roll; -5 to one ally, 1 use left) [ 1+5+2=8 damage to the Console ] Location: D4 -> D5
More people were descending on the console, and tentacles, and there was a wet, oppressive chill in the air that made her shudder.
Lifting her head, she looked around, trying to identify where the feeling was coming from- and her eyes landed on a Corrupt Senshi (Adorea) who tossed her a wink and smile that- wow. Really made Imbrium feel a lot better, and the Order redhead gave the other a confused smile.
Ginger solidarity, go.
But WOW, she did feel better.
Better enough that she decided she would, perhaps, try some of those cheesy guerilla tactics on the generators remaining, and moved to the south- she would revisit Fiery Hell later. For now, she just... curled her black-clawed fingers and tried to push away the fury and the rage, running her fingers around teeth that felt far-too sharp, feeling the hint of her legs trying to crack into the shape of something that she didn't want. She didn't want to die a monster. This needed to stop.
There were more now, or perhaps they had always been there? She wasn't sure if she was just seeing things. Everything was starting to turn black. She could feel her chest burning and could slowly see her white uniform becoming an ugly black color. "Waterlily Ballet!" She yelled again, hoping that her magic was doing something, anything to the generator as long as it wasn't repairing it somehow.
She didn't know what was going on and she wondered if there were even any more Order out there that could help. Why had so little come? She wished that there were more and hoped that Alphubel was doing okay wherever he was!
Again he went to attack the generator. However the Youmas that are attacking or Agents, whatever they were at this point, along with all of the chaos energy that was being poured into the area had made his hand slip and when he went to hit the generator again it wasn't nearly as strong as it had been before. He cursed to himself.
What good was his magic if he couldn't use it to help in a situation like this?! Perhaps the chaos was seeping into his mind, but why didn't they have real weapons. He could swear he was seeing his robe turn darker. He wasn't going to turn to chaos. He was NOT! Even if he didn't deserve to be a Knight, he sure as h*** knew that he didn't deserve to be an Agent at least!
She wasn't sure where everyone was going but considering that two generators still remained on the field Myrrha made a decision to keep trying to get the damn things destroyed. She couldn't keep feeling like she was about to be sick. It just wouldn't do. She picked up a piece of debris from the destroyed generator from where she was leaving and chose to use that to jam it into the sides of the one she was moving towards.
It wasn't much - but it would have to do.

She glanced over the grouping of aliens just wishing she could have taken the time to get to know them before this sad, sad affair.
Pausing to rest she noticed the ever-changing field dynamics. Those other generators needed to be brought down though.
