The Reyvateil glanced back and forth between the two Teru. "So you both know each other?" She guessed.

"That's right, Cutie," Zek confirmed for her with a wink. "And come on, Gannon, what girl wouldn't fall for these looks? You're just jealous. It's been too long since you've been browsing, Bud and it's makin' ya sound like a bitter old lady." He turned his attention then to the others. "Hey, there, you two. So, my darling Kitten just couldn't stay away, eh?" He winked at Rhaplanca. The guy just couldn't take a hint sometimes...

"Browsing? For what?" Hikari raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Just then, Zek became serious. "So you all are here to dive once again I assume. It couldn't all just be for the pleasure of my company. Then let's get started." His eyes narrowed a bit at Rhaplanca. "Are you certain you should be diving so soon? Ya know, it was quite a bit of trouble before. Sure yer ready?" He turned back to Hikari. "And, Cutie over there looks confused. It's simple." He demonstrated by lying down in the pod. "Just do what I'm doing and you'll be fine." He stood and gestured toward the machine. "Let me help you in," he said, taking her by the arm and leading her over.

"All right..." She did as she was told and lay back in the machine. "Um... Mr. Zek? You can let go of me now." She said sheepishly once she was correctly placed inside of the dive machine.

"Oh, of course." He grinned a bit and turned to the others. "Anyone else need some extra instruction?" He asked.

After her response he took a second or two, for something was telling him that she wasn't feeling good. He nodded back to let her know that he did not notice the sigh. Nereus then headed toward the door once she extended her arm, then replied. "I agree, since it would be a pain to heal all of these innocents people that would get sick, just for the cause of me testing out my mask. Maybe an open field around here would be a perfect spot, like outside of town perhaps?

Noticing that she was walking ahead, he just thought the things happening to him now. If the mask was going to work and if Hikari would rememer him. Those sort of things. As he caught up to her he said. "Shall we get started?" He then walked farther away from the town, letting Miko know that he was ready.

The half-Teru turned to face Nereus. "Now that we're out here... now might be a good time to ask... Just what is it exactly that you want me to do? What are you testing your mask for? Does it have something to do with why you were poisoned before?"

"Well, you should be all right, I guess, since I can cast status affect magic and cure it..." She nodded at him. "I'm going to throw some poison your way, then. Ready?" She asked, light from the magic already starting to make her hands glow.

Gannon…

An old woman, huh? Gannon ignored the remark, making a mental note to retaliate as soon as they were done with the dive. "Alright. We ready? Let's get started." The Teru lowered himself into a pod and closed the hatch.

He nodded as she announced her attack. He kept his cool as the green haze was around him. As that happen, a light blue aura reacted as the poison was around him, and not touching him. 'So far so good, now to see if it can sustain the next level of poison, or any status.' As he thought this, the haze dispense and he was unaffected.
Nereus then heard her say something about a sparring practice. "Sure, but should I give it my all or at a lower measure?"

The world around Gannon focussed into view. This time it was slightly different, however. Stone Henge loomed around him, untouched, but the rest of the world was slightly altered. Some other buildings were in the distance, and the forest that had been burned down in the previous level was still there, scarred from the crimson fires of the dragon. However, behind that forest was no longer the C.P.G. building, but rather, it looked to be a school. Bells could be heard, ringing, calling the students into class.

Just then, something slammed into Gannon hard enough to knock him back.

"Ouch! Excuse you! Now you Purebloods are hogging my one and only retreat spot, too?" Hikari stood up and brushed herself off, muttering inaudibly to herself while picking her fallen books up, then turned to glare at Gannon. "So, seriously, where else do you people expect me to go? I do happen to go to this school too, you know!" She snapped at him. Her face showed surprise when she looked Gannon over. "Wait a minute... I don't recognize you. You're the new transfer, aren't you? Well, lucky me. Another Pureblood has come to grace me with his presence..." The bell rang again. "Well, I guess I should at least show you to the school, right?" She smiled at him weakly. "Follow me..."

"Hikari, associating with outsiders of Pallieu Academy is against the rules." The girl stood before the two and crossed her arms. "I should have known that you'd be trying to talk to outsiders." Her eyes narrowed. "Of course, that's fitting for you isn't it, Hikari? You don't belong here, either." She stopped and looked Gannon over once again. "Oh! You're a Pureblood! I'll bet you're the transfer student, aren't you? You belong in the Teru class, so in no way should you have to put up with associating with a pathetic F.P.D. class." She cast a glare in Hikari's direction and took his hand. "Don't you worry, though. You and I can be friends! I'm from the ß Class, so I'm a Pureblood as well! I'm Rhaplanca!" She smiled brightly. She pulled Gannon further ahead, ignoring Hikari completely.

Tears of hurt and frustration welled up in Hikari's eyes but she rubbed them away stubbornly and rushed past both Gannon and Rhaplanca, determined not to be late and to not let what was an everyday occurance bother her.
