Keno was no longer there. In the midst of all the explosions he had taken his leave, bored with the man and leaving him to his own devices to survive or die trying. Once all the smoke cleared, all that was left was silence.

Atop the mountain, Keno stood letting his hair flow through the wind as he gazed out into creation. "Where is that damn woman? I make a deal with her and then she just vanishes. Time is running out." He growled silently to himself as he stood waiting for something. "Perhaps I should have just finished Taliman off anyway. When or lose, I dropped the chance to kill him."

::The tall Orinian waits in the shadows of the underground facility, saying not a word as he watches the fair young Saiya-jin girl below. Wearing a dark combination of black and red, he is perched in a place beyond the embrace of light, kneeling atop a rounded-off ledge in the upper northern wall. Behind him is a very narrow indentation, leaving little room to lean back- his tail is curled up gently against his left leg. Balancing on the balls of his feet, the boy's elbows are resting upon his knees as he looks down. With what he can call casual attire, his mouth his actually visible, his cool, pale lips moving as he counts reps in his head along with Jade.

She's doing well in her training, but Deity still feels she could be doing better. That may seem rather odd - coming from him in his current state - but her physical ability isn't what she needs to improve. At least, not in the red-haired devil's eyes. As he watches, he takes in a soft, yet deep inhalation, letting it out in a slow, drawn-out manner through his nose. His presence by this point is obvious - she must know he's here, his power not held so low as to be undetectable. Even so, he doesn't reveal himself openly just yet, deciding to wait until the young teen is finished with her exercises.::

::As though Jade's soft voice was the only cue he needed, Deity stands and leaps up in a single deft motion, sailing over a nearby rafter beam as he falls back down toward the ground. Though large, his armored boots aren't especially heavy, as he has little need for any training as of late. The bottoms of his feet hit the ring floor, his knees bending just sightly to absorb the landing before he straightens out again.

Roughly twenty feet away from Jade, he slips his hands into his jacket pockets and heads in her direction. Reaching the young Saiya-jin a moment later, he comments on her little exercise routine with a softened smile and tone, dropping again to the toes of his boots as he does.::

....aww...is that all, Lovely?

::The tall Tonepian boy nods slowly as Jade speaks, that gentle smile lingering upon his face as he listens and watches. The sweat on her face and arms isn't much, but enough to be noticable. She's been training her new techniques for quite some time, and will more than likely continue to do so into the near future. That is something he'd be more than willing to help with, no doubt.

As if in a daze, even after Jade has asked him her joking question, he remains silent, tracing the curving lines of her face and the glistening shimmer of her midnight locks. He manages to pry himself out of his thought-induced stupor after a few seconds, blinking a few times behind his one-way lenses and catching his lower lip with his pointed teeth. He hates staring, especially being so stare-prone.

Shrugging slightly at the girl's inquiry, he releases his lip and smiles a little sheepishly as he responds.::

Oh, n-nothing...just.....well, nothing....

::Deity pauses a moment, lifting the left edges of his lips up and curving them down, curling them up a bit in thought. He does wish to help her, and this place has the privacy he would prefer. Training and learning techniques out in the open is, in his mind, a bit dumb. Why bother gaining new abilities in a place where your potential enemies can scout your style?

Nodding once to the teen Saiya-jin's words, he pushes himself back up to a standing position, his hands remaining within the pockets of his leathery red jacket. Around his neck is a small charm, a green stone within a small brass frame, held around his neck by a black rope. In the long run, it is the newest addition to his attire, but he has been wearing it for a few months now, though usually under a shirt. As Deity stands and speaks again, the charm falls out of the shadow of his body, shining with the light of the overhead lamps.::

...Deity'd love to play your sparring partner....but it's getting late. We really should get you cleaned up and into the bed...unless...you wanted to stay here...?

Couches...? Wheres the fun in that, Loves...?

::Taking a single step forwrad, the boy's long stride brings him right up against the young girl. His left hand drifts away from his pocket to find itself against Jade's neck, Deity's fingers curling so gently around it with his thumb grazing her cheek. Just as suddenly, his lips come into brief contact with hers, a featherlike brush of a kiss capturing her lower lip and giving it a gentle tug as it is released a breath later, Deity's palm sliding from Jade's neck to her shoulder.::

....you could use just a bit more warming up...

::A playful little grin on his face, the Mystic Wolf Demon returns his hand to his pocket and takes a few light-footed steps backward before spinning on his heels and tilting his entire form toward the entryway. His bending left leg straightens again as his foot hits the ring tiles in the first step of his quick dash, which takes him across the room in a heartbeat. Actually not moving terribly fast to someone like Jade, he is obviously not putting his all into his speed - if he was, he'd wreck the place in his attempt to leave.

Rushing up the stairs, he runs across the main room, narrowing his vermillion orbs a bit as he forces the doors open via telekinesis. They obediantly swing open for him as he quickens his pace, able to run freely now without breaking anything on his way towards his home again. The doors stay open just long enough for Jade to follow, soon to shut again thereafter.::

Large droplets of rain pounded the rock faces of the mountians. It filled up depressions and sent the liquid cascading ever downward in waterfalls dotted here and there. Where exactly it landed and gathered remained a mystery to all except those who flew down deep into the heart of the mountains. Thus was the reason the desert on the other side existed.

The rain held no more mercy for the small figure resting on a ledge as it did the rocks themselves. Young Jade was down on one knee, her left hand flat against the rock under her to hold herself up. Little droplets of red stained the area around her hand, but were quickly diluted and washed away, only to be replaced by more. Her breathing heavy and ragged, the girl lifted her right arm to her mouth and wiped away the blood trickling from the corner, spitting out more in the distance.

It was obvious she had just gone through some brutal fighting of somesort. But her sparring partner was no where in sight, not even a ki signature to those who would look for one. Jade was completely alone in the rain.

If one were to see her, they'd be able to notice the large amount of blood on her back, though a bit difficult to see because of her red tanktop. It formed two lines, starting at her shoulderblades and angling in slightly to about her mid-back spine. They were wounds that had been healed and reopened many times, more than likely to become scarring soon.

"Damn......she's growing stronger each time....."
