Well before I would have to say that Hiro of Lunar was my favorite because he was curageous, Kind, strong and loved adventure...But now I have to say that LUke Fon Fabre from Tales of the abyss is my favorite! ^_^

I mean c'mon! Look at him!! Personally, for me he was the most realistic character I had ever seen. First off, he was a spoiled brat! But seeing as that's how he was raised and that was the life he was used to, I forgave him.
But then he does something terrible without knowing it and when he realises what he's done, he tries to change and boy does he change!!
What I like about Luke is that he's very complex. He gets to be very kind, but at the same time carries doubts, fears. He doesn't like the idea of killing and can be really stubborn, tough and maybe a little perverted! And he has a strong sense of resolve.
What makes him different, is that unlike a lot of male leads, he's not the kind that is loved by every other caracter in the game. He EARNS thier trust and shows them how stong he can be. And he's not just a major tough guy, or someone that makes a things look easy like every other hero. He shows that there is a weak side and that every hero is human.
Plus he's cute and he kicks a**! What more could you want?
