Don't they already do that? Then Kaiba would be happy that Priest Seto being the Spirit of the Millennium Rod is just fannon nonsense.

Chances are it would still somehow involve pointy-haired kids that have to save the world via a magic that no one over the age of eighteen believes in. What if Yugi had been the Nameless Titanic Baby?

Then there would be a spin off prequel series about monsters and magic in the new mechanical era, probably involving quite a bit of steampunk.
What if the whole cast went to college? or perhaps, different colleges as per real life?

WHAT IF THERE WAS A YUGIOH SERIES THAT WAS JUST ABOUT THE SRZ BIZNIZ PART OF THE CARDGAMES, NOT THE ACTUAL PLAYING OF THE CARD GAMES.
