Screaming Wookiee

Valin frowned a bit at what she said and turned away again, "Jedi are always thought to be dangerous."

He looked off into the ocean again, closing his eyes as if he was again lost in thought. Red didn't know that he was searching within the Force.

"I wasn't reading your mind. It's too difficult to penerate with nothing less than... extreme measures. Red, you would know when I'm trying to open your mind to mine."

He sighed heavily, something weighing heavily on his mind apparently, "The Jedi aren't the ones you should worry about. Unless we succumb to the Dark Side - there is nothing to worry about from me. I am doing my best to refuse the call to darkness again."

The Jedi Knight looked at Red, "You should worry about the Sith..."

"Let's not discuss that again. You worry about the Sith okay? In turn I'll let the Sith worry about you. It's when either of you compromises my situation that I'll worry about either of you." She still cared little about good and evil, the light and dark side, or whatever other antonyms could be used to compare one half of the force to the other.

"I thought I explained that I could care less about either opinion. I don't wish to support or defend either. If a Sith happens to be of use to me, then use a Sith I will." Perhaps she shouldn't think of so many people as tools. Tools, people, friends. That was her hierarchy. She didn't really have friends yet, just acquainted with high class people.

"Should I cross path with this Sith I'm sensing... I will strike him down," Valin said to her, looking directly at her. His green eyes were ice cold, showing his utter resolve.

"People. Are not. Tools," He suddenly said bitterly and coldly. He was once more living his life in his mind. It seemed like he was bearly restraining himself from completely lashing out - not physically though.

"Have you ever tried making friends?" He asked her, his voice less cold but nonetheless, seemingly hurt.

"It's not hard, you know. Just don't make friends with someone that will stab you in the back. Like a Sith - because they will most literally stab you in the back," The Jedi Knight said to Red. He was trying to explain how the Sith simply could not be trusted.

They would, in the end, betray you and kill you.

She merely gazed out on the horizon as he spoke. Friends. Did he bring that up out of anger? Maybe she had pushed one of his buttons. Didn't mean to.

Nonetheless she was a bit upset with his words. "How I deal with people is my business. My opinions aren't wrong just because you disagree with them. I do respect your point of view and I would like to think you could do the same for me without getting so emotional."

It didn't seem like that much of a request to her. She didn't like feeling judged, though she could promise she hadn't judged him time and again. It was the reason she remained so detached most of the time from people, so as not to show too much feeling in one direction or other.

The Jedi shrugged his shoulders, "I'm sorry about that. I shouldn't let my troubled history affect my judgement."

He walked up close to her, looking her into her eyes, "Perhaps you are right. Perhaps I am more niave that I would like to admit. I lack the calm, detached judgement of a Jedi Master. Sometimes, my emotions get the best of me. I guess it's just a reminder that I'm simply human, afterall."

The man held out his hand to Red, offering a peace between them, "How about it then? Friends? I think we could help each other out. That's what friends are for, right?"

But he stuck by what he said about the Sith: They were utter evil - though Red would have to learn this herself. He couldn't tell her and expect her to believe everything he said.

He'd stop the Sith and would do so as a member of the Jedi Order. This Sith would destroy everything - either to get to him or just because he simply could.

Her eyes peered into him, through him, just as they had Kendo the night before. He was far too emotional for her. Maybe by trying so hard not to be human, he was stuck becoming even more human. Kind of an interesting perception.

She accepted his hand, accepting a peace offering, but not sealing any ties of friendship. Friendship was not something to jump into any more than anything else. She wasn't going to say 'friends' and whether he acknowledged that or not was his issue.

Valin smiled lightly. This was probably the best he could hope for actually. She didn't seem like the type to readily accept some random deal to make friends right off the bat.

However, over time, maybe even she could see things from a simple human's preceptions.

The Jedi let go of her hand and turned to start walking off, "Well, I'm off for now. I think a bit of meditation is in order. Maybe some practicing or something."

He chuckled at that - he never really went in depth on what he did to train in the first place.

For all the Jedi in him: He was still just a simple human guided by emotions and illogical thought patterns. No Jedi was perfect, after all.

A mere nod and turn in the opposite direction was all she reacted with as she strolled along the border of land and water. She kept along this path until she was sure she was far out of sight from where she orginally stood, and turned into the forest once again to find a quiet spot to train in. It was so much easier training in a place she was comfortable in.

The feet of the red headed kitsune sent her fleeting above the tree tops. Were anyone to catch a decent glimpse, they'd notice the glistening beads of sweat on her brow. The well trained ear could catch the sound of her pounding heart and maybe even the subtle sound of her rapid blood flow. Her breathing was heavy, and her eyes seemed determined. Her body was screaming urgency apparently, but was she looking for something or fleeing something else?

She could see the end of the forest before her. She quickly dropped back to the ground and slammed her back against a trunk. Her breaths were deeper and heavier as she tried restoring her respiration to normal. Her focus was intensely weighted on her breathing. She didn't have time to waste.

As she wiped the sweat off her brow, she casually took the remaining steps out of the woods and onto the southern beach. The fine grains of sand shifted gracefully under her feet as the oceanic breezes captured her frame and embraced her in a cool welcoming gesture. She spotted User's ship immediately and made her way toward the entrance, or what she thought was the entrance anyway. She knocked on it with a sense of demanding, not being too passive. She hoped he was there, though it wasn't User she had any interest in.

::Flying over head the demon monkey landed on the northern end of the island. He was on his way torwards a high power level he sensed but was side tracked by a fleeting power level that was on this very island. He didn't know who or what it was so he made his way too where the energy seemed too have stopped, on the other end of the island.

He rose into the air slightly not too high and he flew quickly to the south side of the island. It took him a few moments to land on the south side of the island. He saw a strange ship a ship he recognized very well, even though he hasn't seen on for many years.

"A Saiya-Jin here. . .?"

A growled slightly at the sight of the ship and moved closer too it seeing a red hair being, with what seemed to be a fox tail. He moved closer too the red headed being and spoke::

"Hey what are you doing with this ship?"

User opened the door to his ship, which slide upward. He wore simple clothing - a pair of black boxers. His muscled - and heavily scarred torso - remained exposed. A towel hung upon his shoulders and he was dripping sweat.

"What do you want?" He asked sharply.

"I was training in the gravity chamber," The Saiya-jin warrior said to her. He threw the towel over his head and russled his hair some to get the sweat off. His hair seemed to go back into some kind of unbreakable mold.

He stared - more or less glared - at the the other human. He had no wish for introductions.

Red's ears twitched at the close proximity of the being behind her. Though it didn't hurt her any, his voice might as well have belonged to a cacuphonous symphony as it crashed against the walls of her ear. She was a bit preoccupied to be considered hospitable at the moment, so she answered him with a sharp tongue, sparing little humility.

"I'm having a homecoming. What do you care?" With that she returned her attention to an all but naked User, a fact she practically ignored as her presence and behavior molded to indicate a certain level of an established companionship.

"I don't really have a chance against most of you ki fighters in battle. However I aim to kill a ki fighter, so learn to fight a ki fighter I must. Therefore what I am about to ask will likely sound unorthodox, but don't hold it against me. I want to fight your daughter."

She had no expectations of Sabrina. For all she knew, the girl might go out very easily against her, but she was willing to place the odds of victory in the hands of the little girl. To either end, she wouldn't know unless she tried. If Sabrina proved to be a sub=par challenge, she could always take User on headstrong.

User laughed - not chuckled, but a good laugh. He was laughing in Red's face to be precise.

But he quickly brought himself back to normality again. However, he kept the big grin on his face.

"You want to fight my daughter?" User asked, not quite believing Red was asking him. Not out of the pure oddness of such a request, though.

He wasn't believing Red because his daughter would be more than a match for the kitsune.

::Kuaj's eyes narrowed at the monkey standing in the doorway of the ship that must of been his. He moved closer to the both of them he ignored the Saiya-Jin for now and listened closely. He stood next too The red haired woman listening too what she was saying.

"It seems your not a Ki user. Perharps I can be your training partner. I am sure I can help you."

:;He moved infront of her and blocked her sight of User. He wrapped his own monkey tail around his waist. He folded his arms over his open chest and stepped closer too her::

From most people she would have likely just attacked them to shut them up. She was being serious and intended her audience to see her as such. Instead though, she reacted in a way she loathed in all circumstances. Her blood was rushing to her cheeks. It was a blush, but thankfully it was a light blush. Her face jerked to the left to avoid eye contact until she was sure she regained her normal composure. User wasn't very discreet and was rather straightforward. If he was laughing, it meant she would either dominate the child or be easily overpowered or outmatched. She couldn't discern that from a mere laugh.

As her eyes tried to lock back onto the Saiya-jin father, she noticed a new person, the one that was behind her from a moment before. He had let himself into their conversation and was now making it his own business. He was also seemingly trying to flaunt himself before User as if to display his masculinity. She could feel his aura and knew better.

"I have no idea who you are, but it would perhaps be more...fitting to introduce yourself to someone before getting into their business. My partner and I were discussing something. If you don't mind, I'll address you when we're through." She didn't recognize the man, but he may have been one of the invited guests, so there was no need to push him away. However, as the hierarchy stood, this no name had just offended the first and second in command. Not a good first impression attempt.
