Yukimara No i have no throw and or sat on my bassoon. My band director would murder me cause its a 20 yr old fox renard thats the schools. But i have thrown my reed countless times. O.o I would kill you if you threw a basson, and I don't even know you! Those things are like...sacred relics of the Band! On another note...I'm pretty sure my instrument wins the Most Abused award XD

one time, we were practicing for honor band, and they gave us a break and told us to set our instruments under our chairs. well, when i was walking back to my chair, someone called my name, so i looked over and the next thing i knew, i had tripped over my sax and hit my head on the stand. luckily only the reed was chipped and i was ok too. that's when i learned to always have a spare sweatdrop

I was once practicing, and my B naturals were being stupid, so I got frustrated and threw my clarinet javelin-style across my room. It bounced off my bed and fell to the floor, so I left it there for a little while, and then continued playing. Serves it right.

((i play flute))
there was this one time when i was in 7th grade...it was the end of the year so we were having our spring band concert. well we had to turn the page of the music and i went to turn it really fast((because we only have like3 measures of rest to turn it.)) so i layed my flute down on my lap and when i was trying to turn the page, it slid off ONTO THE COLD, FLOOR. aned made a huge noise. needless to say it was embarrassing to no end. and EVERYONE in the audience seen it..i bet you that.luckily my flute didnt break.
and then this last year during marching band, i mess with my flute alot, and throw it up in the air and catch it ((kinda like a flag, but i dont do colour guard)) ive dropped it soooo many many many times doing that..((always on grass though))
but needless to say that is prolly why my keys FELL OFF at a contest. THAT was bad...
had to pay $200 to get it fixed...((but they repadded the fallen off keys too))
sweatdrop

well i play in concert band and our band room is tiny. our percussion barely fits. so, being the first and smallest row since our seating arrangement is in an arch, the flutes are forever banging each others instruments on accident. when i got my new flute, i must have gotten like five scratches on it in the first day. there's this one girl in my band who keeps on dropping her flute on the floor. our band teacher also said that he knew this one girl who had put her flute on her bed, then her little sister came in and started jumping on her bed. lets just say that her flute ended up U shaped.

*Disclaimer: I am a HUGE klutz
Well, let's just say I was running up the stairs in my house with my flute and I slipped...
There was a mighty big dent in it. That was the last time I EVER walked up and down my stairs with my flute in my hands smile
But that's not even bad compared to what my old band director told me. She said she had a flute player who decided to clean her instrument...IN THE DISH WASHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...what is this world coming to?

I was late to band and I was the last clarinet to set up and I was running to my seat in the front of the class when this baritone player, Kevin tripped me and I dropped my clarinet and it slid across the room and Danielle tripped on it. I managed to injure myself and 2 people in 3 minutes during band. Nothing got broken except my pride.
Another time it wasn't me who dropped the instrument but I was walking upstairs and Marcus who plays bass drum was walking downstairs and it didn't end well. He was walking with Brian and wasn't paying attention and we all ended up at the bottom of the stairs me being on bottom under 2 bass drums and 2 people I will eventually kill. He always avoids me now cause I give him death glares. Nothing broken luckily.
My friend Stephen always ends up in trouble so I'll take his trombone to practice and to class. Throughout this school year I have managed to give his trombone 14 dents and have hit 37 people with it. I hit 7 people with it yesterday.

My flute has dents all over the head joint because I whacked it against the wall so many times by accident. sweatdrop
And I also made a small scratch on this brand new bari sax that I used... xp
I'm too clumsy for my own good.

I was playing a concert with the school band and my music got blown off my stand (the stage area is very drafty) and I set my clarinet down on its' bell to go retrieve it and the person sitting next to me shifted his stand and knocked over my clarinet. it had to go in for repairs cause it bent the register key. I also have an issue when I lay my Clarinet down on my lap witht he person sitting next to my shifting and snapping my reed.
