[Corrupt Super Xenia HP: 75/75 hovering back to watch + provide shielding if necessary!]
Xenia stayed out of the way. It was the best move, and she knew it; she just....had to be patient and wait. Someone would need her magic eventually, whether it was herself or someone who was getting hit too hard and needed a little protection. Or someone who made some silly, bold decision.
Whatever happened, though, she was here, ready to protect!
HP: 100 Damage: 1d10+4, hits assumed. Special: Can command youma, but it only works on certain youma. Roll 1d10; If a General's roll is an odd number, the youma will obey them. Quote Strickenized when this happens.
Damage: 7
Ugly. Ugly, Ugly, Ugly, Ugly, Ugly, Ugly, UGLY. With each repeat of the word, Titanite moved her body, looking for another weakness or place she could shove her armored fist. The youma rippled, stretched, and dumped pieces of itself down on the Negaverse agents that swarmed it; it shrieked, and squealed, like a wounded animal.
But there was to be no pity for the beast, especially with reinforcements beginning to swarm their position. Reinforcements for this creature? Or for the monsters who had tracked it to invade its home and harvest its parts?
Lavendulan turned to regard the General but hesitated, blinking back in surprise when she realized it was the female half-youma she had spotted at the briefing.
Before she had only noticed the other half-youma at a distance, but now that Amazonite had approached the small group, Laven couldn't help but notice the similarities in their appearance; light blue scales with sharp claws, however, their horn styles were each unique. It left her feeling a mix of emotions that were hard to parse; but none of them were relevant to their current situation.
"I-" she hesitated, clearing her throat to regain some composure. "with my magic I'll be able to keep pace with the General, we'll be able to get there quickly," Lavendulan added. She meant no disrespect to the Lieutenant that had noticed the cliffside as she had but what Amazonite pointed out was true.
At least she hoped so.
Radon had taken interest in her when they had first found him, as Aquamarine might remember, so the fact they shared similar qualities might actually make this task more dangerous for the two of them if the rest of their group wasn't able to hold his attention.
Could cause a chain reaction, Faustite said. But Jet and Aquamarine and many of the others had been trekking along these latticework paths without any real sign of brittleness. They’d held up for all this time, and surely with other ledges falling, so while the possibility was there, it still wouldn’t hurt to have a backup to help immobilize the youma.
“There’s no guarantee that we can even get the youma over to the cliffs,” Jet pointed out, after nodding politely in greeting to the half-youma General (Amazonite) and listening to her suggestion.
“We just need some kind of back up plan. The ledge looks relatively sturdy, so if the base is weakened then we won’t need to worry about making the youma hold still long enough for preferably a senshi with ranged magic to bring the rest down. If we can convince it to retreat in that direction, then everyone else should have enough time to get out of the way. Let it think it’s escaping. I don’t think anyone should be climbing the thing we’re trying to make collapse. I wouldn’t want either of you to get stuck up there when the whole thing comes down, much less waiting around doing nothing when you could be helping the rest of us weaken it,” he explained, hoping that they didn’t seriously think he was even remotely willing to have anyone sacrificed. He’d already warned Faustite that he planned on calling off the mission if he and Kamacite didn’t return from their rescue attempt after three hours. The two came back in three hours, however, so the mission continued.
“Lieutenant Carnallite has a ranged weapon, so she wouldn’t need to get as close to the base as you both might. I don’t want anyone crushed by rocks or falling to their deaths,” he said with another nod to both Captain Lavendulan and the half-youma General. They’d already had enough of that for one mission.
"Weaken the base, and then rejoin the rest of us. We'll try to wait for the right moment to have the whole thing collapse."

Lieutenant Roselite HP: 50 Helping Beni through a panic attack
Roselite listened. He leaned closer when it seemed like Benitoite might be trying to respond. A wheezing mumble was all he heard, one that wouldn’t have sounded like anything recognizable if they hadn’t just ridden spider youma up the cliff. With that particular mode of transport so fresh in his brain, it wasn’t as difficult for Roselite to decipher what Benitoite might mean.
“Oh…” he said.
Did the youma attack him, maybe? No, that didn’t seem quite right. To Roselite, Benitoite’s predicament still seemed like a panic attack.
Of all the things they faced on a daily basis, and it was something about spiders that triggered one for the General? Not that Roselite could blame him. Fears were strange like that. Roselite feared a great many things, and therefore felt he had no right to judge. Besides, panic attacks weren’t always predictable. That was one of the things that made them so scary.
“It’s okay, Sir, they’re gone,” Roselite said.
Well, he supposed they could still be lurking around, but Roselite didn’t see one in the immediate vicinity.
“I know it’s… kind of hard right now, but… just focus on breathing. In, and out. In, and out. Or try counting to ten, very slow.”
General Aquamarine HP: 100 Damage: 5 (roll) + 4 (weapon) + 3 (tracking bonus) = 12 Being pissy and ultimately attacking the youma in an attempt to immobilize.
Aquamarine could feel his customary anger returning, bubbling just beneath the surface. Fortunately, he was still too tired for an explosion.
He muttered under his breath, “Literally anything could cause a chain reaction on these paths, and then we’re all ******** anyway.”
The heel of one palm pressed to his forehead, wiping sweat away more than it relieved any of the building pressure. Aquamarine slid his hand over his hair, still half pulled back, bound out of his face, then let his hand drop to his ********, whatever, I don’t even care anymore,” he continued to mutter to himself, once against letting Jet do most of the talking and ordering around.
Aquamarine eyed the half youma General (Amazonite), but said nothing to her, greeting her with a frown and little else. His grip tightened around the hilt of his rapier, restless, anxious to move, to do something. There was a reason he often seemed solitary and unapproachable; he hated giving orders as much as he hated receiving them.
Most of all, he hated the god damned Rift.
“You have your orders,” he said, shooing Lavendulan, Amazonite, and Carnallite away with a flick of his free hand. “Retreat back here if you run into any issues.”
To Jet, he sneered, “Keep hitting it, he says. No s**t. Still think he has a decent head on his shoulders?” With a scoff, Aquamarine added, “Put your ******** earring in.”
Then, sick of standing around trying to make a plan for a mission that wasn’t his, Aquamarine hurried forward and jabbed his rapier at one of the youma’s legs. He’d take them off one by one if he had to, anything to immobilize the horrid beast faster. No one was going to get anywhere with stripping scales off if the thing could still move.
Lieutenant Carnallite HP: 50 Damage: 2 (roll) + 2 (weapon) = 4 (Wow great roll there Carnallite) Maybe the cliffside can be used, maybe it can't; I guess we'll find out.
Carnallite kept her mouth shut while the Generals did General things. Talking, planning, contradicting plans, correcting plans, plans for things that might not happen, plans that seemed briefly thought out. Certainly it could be difficult to come up with something for every possible scenario, but she was beginning to think the three Generals and the Corrupt Senshi in charge had come into this mission with a plan that only extended so far — right up to now, actually.
The most important part.
As a Lieutenant, she should hold her tongue and follow orders. So Carnallite did, answering Jet and Aquamarine with a brief nod. Weaken the base, they were told. Rejoin the rest when they accomplished that. Retreat if there were any issues. Easy enough.
Carnallite spared a glance toward the youma they’d been hunting, ensuring it remained occupied (it did), then caught the gazes of the half-youma Captain (Lavendulan) and the half-youma General (Amazonite).
“I won’t slow either of you down,” she said.
Pivoting swiftly, Carnallite made her way toward the overhanging cliffside at the opposite end. She didn’t have to draw too close, didn’t even have to come into contact with it, and could test its sturdiness with a quick throw of her boomerang. She stopped when she was in range, and flicked the plastic toy at it, not expecting much damage, given the pathetic state of her weapon.
Maybe this was a good idea. Maybe it was a terrible idea. Maybe they’d all fall to their deaths. Maybe they were all doomed to die anyway.
To Lavendulan and Amazonite, Carnallite said, “Even if we’re not able to trap that youma here, we might make it an obstacle for whatever others happen to arrive.”

Captain Lavendulan HP: 75 Dice: 1d8+3(tracking team) +5(half youma captain) Damage: 12 to the cliffside
"Agreed," Lavendulan acknowledged Carnallite with a nod. It was a slim chance, but a chance nonetheless.
She hesitated a moment to consider Faustite's warning about the fragility of the pathways and for a second, she was annoyed at her own unpreparedness by not giving her ear cuff to either Wolframite or Lopezite for situations exactly like this. All she could hope was that both Jet and Aquamarine were able to spread awareness of their plan without alerting Radon in the process.
However, Lavendulan was spurred into motion when the Lieutenant took off towards the cliffside. She spared a grateful glance towards Amazonite for offering to join them before her form shifted and she too made haste to join Carnallite.
When within range she summoned an orb of water and threw it at the base of the cliff.
Super Corrupt Valeria: HP: 75/75 Damage: 3 x 10 = 30
Watching as others attacked the corrupt senshi was looking for the plague doctor, wanting to see to it that he was ok. He'd seemed rather tired when she'd been staying at the medical tent with him. When she didn't find him, and she had taken to looking for him, she turned her focus back onto the beast. It seemed to be attacking others, wanting to perhaps remove some of their team in order to run away fro them. She couldn't blame it, not really, there were a lot of them and only one of it. She did feel sorry for it, in a way, she didn't like the idea of pestering it where it was living and beating up on it. They did however need something from it, though for what end purpose she didn't know, so she would help - of course.
Dodging a falling plate of it's armor like shell she nearly tripped over her own two feet. It was a good thing her hair was much shorter, or she would have fallen for sure. With her balance regained she went and attacked the beast again. "Strike the mind!" Sending another pink colored orb at the beast she hoped to stun it or confuse it a bit more.
After her attack was launched the senshi went back to seeking out the doctor.
The ******** was this thing doing? Was it ******** shedding?! He wanted to shout something at the damn youma but he doubted it would hear him much less give a s**t what he shouted at it. But thsoe damn things it was sending into the air, parts of itself, were not appreciated. As he dodged one another slammed down and knocked him off his feet, sending him back across the ground several feet. Banged and bruised the super senshi was not fairing as well as he wished he was. He was bleeding, he was fairly certain of that, from what though he wasn't sure. He might have hit something when he landed, or when he rolled across the ground, but it also could have been that piece of shell which had hit him.
Either way he was bleeding and he knew he was bruising as well. Pain throbbed up his left side, as he'd hit the ground with his left side, and pulling himself up onto his feet was not as easy as it should have been. Wincing as he got up onto his feet he came up with a chunk of crystal in his hand. That was what he threw at the youma as he got himself closer to it, he was certain he wasn't going to be throwing anything a very good distanmce at this point.
Counting? He wasn't even sure he could focus enough to get the numbers out past his lips, much less keep track of them and place them in order. But he could focus on breathing, he was tyring to do that anyway, but he managed to draw closer to the Lieutenant and reach out. Placing a hand near to the others chest so he could try in some way to mimic him. It helped, it always had, it could focus him a bit to try and do the same. If he copied the other person it would bring his breathing back to normal - where it should be.
It was never easy, and why should it be? The fear had been there, festering, for so long it had it's claws dug deep into the General. It was not easy to escape the panic when it set in...the fear had been there so long for him. It had grown and gotten worse over the years. It was always best to forget spiders were a thing...to go on not thinking about them - acting like they didn't exsist...until they did. Like now.
As he worked towards calming himself the General summoned his spear, clutching it tightly in his gloved hand. He was not going to be defenseless, not here and not now. "They are fighting the youma?" The answer was obvious, as hie ears seemed to unstuff themselves. He could hear the sounds of fighting. The youma was being attacked and no doubt it was fighting back, as it should, but who was winning. "Who is winning?" Slowly shifting to sit up proiperly and look around himself as he sought to reorienthimself. He kept close to the blond though, shifting even closer, as he needed to keep them both safe. He also was still trying to control his breathing as he calmed himself slowly.
"It's not a spider...right?" He'd kept his gaze as far from the youma as possible...but he needed to know. Already his grip was tightening on his spear, ready to turn and launch the thing at whatever the youma was - without a care. He needed to do something! Rather than wait, as he maybe should have, the General took as deep a breath as he could manage before launching his spear from where he was on the ground. Using as much strength as he had, granted him by chaos and years of servitude, and sent his spear sailing towards the youma. At the same time taking his first look at the thing.

The rumble grew louder, then clarified into a stampede. Hooves, ahnds, feet, tentacles, paws — all manner of locomotion carried more youma into teh Scar, and up into the latticed paths. Most were fliers in part or in whole, including Quetzacoatl, who flew toward Titanite. Gemini appeared as well, having grown twisting, verdant tentacles and an array of thorny teeth, though it fostered no love for their group. Other youma, including Viridian, had just crested the most distant of the paths and began their way toward the commotion. While these summoned creatures had not yet begun their assault, they hemmed in the Negaverse by presence alone.
All agents and senshi, however fresh, could feel the wall of youma encroaching on them. They were pincered with little hope of carving a path back out; better if they didn't need to fight.
A couple clever agents already sought a way to victory. Lavendulan and Carnallite's attacks shook a few stones loose. The cliffside looked hale yet, though it wouldn't stand up to much punishment. For now, the only entities in its path of descent were Negaverse officers.
Cliffside HP: 84/100 Notes: A few rocks trickled down from around its base. It is not, in fact, a youma.
Bloodstone, Nembus, and any others would find that the scales did indeed part from the creature's hide. However, the startlingly opalescent scales soon lost their shimmer, dulling to a muted grey, when wrenched from the youma. It shrieked in response, and shied away from these hits.
But doing so was difficult in such a confined space, and the creature stumbled, then wrapped around one of the narrow paths. Albite's restraint caused one of its legs to break, though it had many more to compensate. Albite now had a weapon of his own (+2 to normal attacks).
Between burning, being cut, blinded, and forgetting what it was doing again, the creature had enough of the Negaverse's interference. Another shriek sent those same sought-after scales from its back, arcing high, unaided by sight. They rained down of a handful of officers, though most of the shimmering things missed their mark and landed, unactivated, on the ground. Any scale that hadn't hit an officer still glowed, coruscating and iridescent.

Youma RadonWhim HP: 8714/10,000 (-786, -500 from scale theft) Notes: The scales that come off the target seem to lose their luster when broken off normally.
Prehnite, Haymitch, Atheneite, Aquamarine, Cymophane, Valeria, Faustite, and Arsenolite take 12 damage each. The scale has embedded in your character. Please check your PMs for further instructions.
Quote:
The tracking team figured out the target. This means members of the Tracking team get a permanent damage bonus (+3) due to familiarity with the terrain and the monster. They may also forfeit a damage roll per round to look for weaknesses / make deductions.
Please refer to the combat mechanics in this post if you have any questions! Please note that commanding a youma will not work on the boss. Please assume that your character has recovered in full and has all instances of limited-use magic.
For corrupted senshi: If your character has attack magic, roll as normal, multiply by 10. This youma cannot be instantly dusted by senshi magic.
For half youma, attack abilities receive (+3 / +5 / +7) depending on rank.
For all other types of abilities, or for attacking the cliff, please contact me!
Good luck!
Bolded characters to take 12 damage and ~bonus effect~
Ransomite's next swing at the youma was cut short and sent wider than he'd meant by the shower of scales that also quite startled him. They were pretty, sure, but Ransomite didn't trust them, or that. He paused, giving a scale on the ground near him a suspicious side-long glance.
Lest he accidentally step on one, Ransomite leaned over to flip one away with one of his improvised weapons.
Strickenized
Didn't know if I should lyk that Ransomite is interacting with one of the scales.
Under the onslaught from both her and Carnallite's attacks, Laven noticed some rocks shift while others trickled down from around the base where they were focussing their attacks.
It was nerve-wracking to have her attention on bringing down the chunk of the cliff while having to trust that the other agents would keep Radon busy. Time was not on their side, youma converged on their point at an alarming speed and all she could do was bend the water orb around her and slammed it into the cliffside with as much force as the last hit.
They had been instructed to not damage it so much that it fell without warning, but how would they be able to know when to stop so that they could clear the base? It's not like this was a video game where everyone had health bars where you could monitor how much damage it was taking.
Things like avalanches only took a loud sneeze or car backfiring to make the snow shift and send a whole mountainside come cascading down its side to bury anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its way.
Magical: Aqua Shift While still retaining her actual form Lavendulan's entire body transforms into water.
When in this form she is one with her element; physical attacks pass through her unaffected like putting your hand into a flowing stream her body morphs around it. Her movement speed is increased, like a river upstream weaving through rapids, but not to exceed the next highest stage allowing her to change location quickly. While metamorphosis is active Lavendulan can bend water around her in a 7' radius. It takes one of two shapes; a sphere similar to size and weigh of a medicine ball or a thin whip. Both are used more defensively like a harsh shove to push someone over or a snapping sensation. At most, there might be a bruise in the morning unless the character she's attacking lands on something unfortunate.
Additionally, since becoming Captian, Lavendulan is able to pull water into her own form to mend up to moderate injuries sustained before initiating the Aqua Shift.
Duration: 20 seconds Usage: 3 Note: Certain magic attacks still work but will need to be discussed before a battle. At General stage the movement increases while in water form will not match that of a General King or Queen.

Corrupt Super Sailor Meridiana HP: 65/75 Dice: 1d8 (x10 if senshi magic) Damage:6 (round 1) + 80 (round 2)
The cut along her leg bled freely, but this was not the time nor place to try to tend to it, nor did she have experience aside from 'apply pressure to it' to fall back on either. No. All she could do was grit her teeth and force herself to stand, to not remain stationary least she became nothing more than a fly on the wall ready for immediate squishing.
She was the Senshi of the Succubus, not some insect, and did not want her last moments to be of her splattered and smeared on the pathway in the Rift. Forever a missing person back home and an empty casket for her parents to bury.
Again a shower of scales cam cascading down off of the youma, however, this time Meridiana was able to avoid being hit by the shimmery scaled rain.
It was hard to tell if it was her knees shaking or if the movement she felt was the herd of youma that was closing in, or Radon trying to get his bearings after being hit by a slew of attacks. Either way, it mattered little. Standing still would do no good and she had no weapon to defend herself with.
All she had was magic. A simple command that may or may not draw its attention to her, a fragile corrupt. If it reacted anything like the senshi or knights she had used it on before, then she might be lucky and the youma would not want to hurt her; at least for the next few seconds anyway. After that, all bets were off, especially if this feeble attempt to steal a chunk of energy from it failed.
Meridiana reached out with her right arm and in her hand formed a golden etherial hilt. From it spilled a substantial cord that formed the length of the whip that curled on the ground beside her. "Eyes on me," she commanded while winging the whip overhead before cracking it beside her.
Unaware of the new dangers surrounding her, the Corrupt chose only Radon as her target.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Eyes on Me (Two part attack) (Part 1) Sailor Meridiana reaches out with her right arm and closes her hand around the handle of a whip that materializes beside her which glows a gold-ish hue. The length of the whip is about 7' in length and can most definitely be seen however it can cause no physical damage. Swinging the whip over her head she cracks the whip beside her.
The sound is meant to be a taunt, an attention grabber. It will pass through a person if they are too close to her.
(Part2) Once Sailor Meridiana has the attention of up to two opponents she lets go of the whip then brings both hands up and blows a kiss at each of them.
For the next 20 seconds her opponents within 10' become fixated on her and enter a bit of a stupor unable or unwilling to attack. During these 20 seconds, Sailor Meridiana siphons energy from her opponents (-1 use of a base attack, -15 seconds from a mana pool, -1 to 2 uses of a teleport). Most of this effect goes unnoticed although the opponents may feel drowsy as if they had used their magic even though they have not actually cast anything (relate-able to the feeling after you get your blood drawn). Although the energy is gathered into a softly glowing orb, she gains no immediate benefit from the magic siphon. However, the orb, once the attack has finished, may be added to her quota stash and be used at a later time.

I don't know if this even works on youma or to what capacity.
