Captain Prehnite - 10 Atk Total: 18"Absolutely asinine" and even as Prehnite was recalling his weapon, he was taking what little cover there could be found. Gritting his teeth against the buffet of wind as he braced himself against the shaking earth. Glad for once, for his coats voluminous lapels, as they made for a nice barrier against the kicked up dust and debris.
They were fighting a towering, temperamental lizard, in any other situation it would have been hilarious, but not like this. "This, this is the exact reason this city cannot have nice things. Tyrannous chimeras throwing tantrums at every event..." and Prehnite expended the energy it would have taken to teleport in close. To dig his serrated blades into the luminous beasts burgeoning form, the blades raked across a leg, as deeply as he could manage. Before quick stepping the ******** out of dodge. He didn't like any of the noises coming from it - a clear resounding buildup to something blazing and nasty that he wanted a nice buffer from.
Maybe if they were lucky, the thing would snack up one of the errant princesses that was making such a glow about things, the overabundance of abilities going off all at once was grating on his nerves, akin to being trapped just too close to a bombing site, all noise, flash and disorienting distractions.

Squire Imbrium - 7 + 4 damage Well this was not what Imbrium had wanted. It was, in the sense that Crocozilla wasn’t trying to stop on DC, but it was not, in the sense that it was lifting one big leg and slamming it back towards the ground, sending leaves and debris right into Imbrium’s face as she staggered over, casually slamming the edges of her buckler into her arm. It would be a lovely bruise in the morning. She spat out leaves in annoyance, and blinked grit out of her eyes in time to see the creature bracing itself as though it was going to fire on the group- and that was something that Imbrium could do something about. It was going to suck, but she could help. Lifting her buckler shield, and her determination, the Castor knight pushed her buckler forward, summoning her power to cast a defensive wall between the monster and her assorted allies. Quote: Open for Interaction TL;DR: Imbrium will channel an ice wall to try and help block enemy damage, and take the pain from the blow herself. Squire: Buckler shield -- At this stage, Imbrium can shove her buckler forward and create an ice 'wall' in the direction she points it. Enemies hit by this wall are damaged or staggered; as a sign of her devotion to Castor, (and the fact it's kind of a mini-wall) allies in that walled area are protected from ONE hit, the potential pain/damage for which is taken by Imbrium. The wall will last for as long as Imbrium channels, though the protection is only redirected one time per "burst" of her channeling; if she only holds the wall once, only one hit will be redirected to her. A second burst of appropriately-timed channeling would redirect one more hit and so on. She has a 30 second pool.

Transcended Eternal Scylla - 9 + 6 damageShe hadn't expected that her tentacles would be able to stop a monster four times their height and considerably larger, but she'd hoped they might do at least a little more to slow the da-n thing down. Scylla hissed as branches flew into her face, leaves catching in her long hair. She was too far away to be knocked over, but the distraction was enough to have made her lose control of her magic; the power seemed to almost protest as she reigned it in, and then let the Hunger flow through her again with a whisper. Again, the tentacles flared out, grappling at the beast, trying to pull it and control it. Somehow, manage and minimize the damage the creature's raw power. Quote: Still open for interaction

Chibi Super Charybdis - 4 + 6 damageCharybdis was too small for this! Well- she was tall, for her age (of almost 11!), kind of, but she was very skinny, so it worked out to being way too small for this. She was far, far too short and slight for the stomp of a three-story building, and it was to her shame and regret that as the foot slammed down, her body flew backwards, feet going over her head as she blew past multiple other people bashing on the creature. Her impact into a tree was unexpected, and unwelcome, and she grunted as she shoved back up to her feet, brushing off her legs. "I'm fine," she called back to Ara, annoyance clear in her tone, "Stay focused. I'll stay safe, don't worry!" Picking up a branch, grateful that being a senshi made her stronger than normal people, she hurled it at the monster's face. "Hey, ugly! Come down here!"

Corrupt Eternal Kamacite - 7 + 7 Kamacite tried to brace himself against the shockwave, digging his feet into the ground and while he did get knocked backwards, he somehow managed to remain upright. He had his robes held up to his mouth and nose to protect himself against the rising dirt, and quickly made his way over to Cymophane to make sure he was okay.
“Just a little,” he agreed to move back. And while he’d been the one to try and find Cymophane, he was grateful that his friend was the one to maneuver them away.
He took a moment to consider Cymophane’s suggestion, frowning up at the creature. “I could try teleporting close enough,” he said, but wasn’t sure if he would have enough time to focus and teleport back, or if he would end up just falling.

Captain Bloodstone - 5 + 8 In Bloodstone’s defense, he forgot that Roselite couldn’t teleport. Because that was exactly what he did when he realized the monster was going to send a shockwave and potentially crush anyone who was too close. Ah, but Roselite wasn’t too close, so that was fine. He just got sent flying backwards.
When it seemed as though the monster wasn’t going to make its way over to where Roselite was, Bloodstone teleported back to his side, weapon recalled and in his hand.
“You should probably get farther back,” he suggested, not wanting to witness Roselite being mangled.
He was not looking forward to getting paged to go in to work at the emergency room that night.

General Jet - 4 + 4 gdi jetWhen Lazurite showed up, Jet felt a weird sensation of relief and concern. At least she hadn’t managed to get herself hurt in the time it took her to arrive there, but he was also concerned that she was going to get hurt. He was fairly certain he saw a glimpse of Cymophane as well.
“Stay away from the Princess,” he said, watching as she picked up a rock and tried throwing it at the monster. Ah, no, that wasn’t going to do much, but neither was standing around. Jet had hoped more would show up, but he supposed in their defense they were distracted by the monster.
He was going to ignore the fact that he thought he could see Benitoite getting chatty with Ganymede again.
When the giant monster decided to stomp down and crush everything around it, Jet reached out to grab onto Lazurite’s arm, teleporting them into the air above where they were just moments before the shockwave hit so they would only feel the after effects once they landed on solid ground again. Only when he was sure that she had a good footing did he let go of her arm.
“General Jet and Lazurite,” he quickly introduced to Carnallite, then frowned at her question. “With how infrequently a threat of this size appears in the city, it was probably determined to be a waste of resources. But it wouldn’t be a horrible idea to get at least a team of agents prepared for handling events like this. Youma in the Rift could be used for training purposes, but we can figure that out later. We need more reinforcements.”
There were other agents around, of course. But some seemed to be distracted by the White Moon. Jet pulled out his communicator and clicked it to send a message to Faustite. He hadn’t seen the other General, but he was pretty sure that smell of sulfur was coming from him.
“General Faustite, this is General Jet. I’m going to summon youma to help take down the monster. I could use your assistance. Just no one’s personal youma, please.” Not with a Princess around. Especially after last time.

Super Albireo - 10 + 7Albireo felt like she was absolutely melting when Siegfried came into view. Oh. Well. Here he was. “You’re not late at all. I’m glad you found me!” She felt pretty great now that she knew he was here. Now that she could be sure that she wasn’t alone. It was so strange how just the very sight of him could make everything seem…
Well. Maybe not good not with a giant monster making everything tremble and shake with his giant monster feet but…
She felt safe at least. Siegfried was here.
Stumbling slightly, Albeiro threw another rock at the creature, letting herself stumble into her knight and sighing. “This is...pretty big trouble, don’t you think? Some date!”

Princess Ganymede - 11Ganymede could not answer Valhalla. She had no explanation as to what this thing was, or what its origins might have been.
“This is close to where I returned that wisp the other night,” she observed. “Where that man…”
But she couldn’t complete the thought. There were more auras popping up left and right (including a Dark Mirror Royal, if she was not mistaken), and one of them happened to be a familiar face.
“Benitoite,” she greeted the General, voice and expression flat, unimpressed by his attempt at humor.
Who could blame her? The last time their paths crossed, he threatened her and was cruel to Cybele — not to mention all the innocent civilians that were terrorized during that operation downtown. With those memories still fresh in her mind, she wasn’t in the mood to play nice.
Fortunately for him, they had a much larger problem to deal with.
Ganymede stumbled with the slamming of the monster’s foot, but didn’t fall. Shielding her face against the debris that wooshed around them, she stepped in front of Valhalla to put herself between him and danger (nevermind that he was weighed down with armor and she wore nothing but a revealing white gown and dripping diamonds).
When the plume cleared enough that she could see again, Ganymede said to Benitoite, “The only reason I’m not using my magic on you is because I need it for this overgrown lizard. Otherwise…” She paused to stare at him, her gaze significant. “I don’t think I’d be able to resist the temptation.
“Searing Passion!”
As much as it pained her not to use it on Benitoite, Ganymede directed her magic toward the monster instead.
“Val,” she said. “Call Valkyrie.”Quote: Eternal Sailor Attack: Searing PassionThe enemy's focus temporarily narrows upon a single, abstract desire that manifests itself in a physical sensation, a heating of the body that grows progressively stronger throughout the duration of the attack, until the target feels as if they are burning up from the inside. They're likely to feel weak and disoriented once the attack has burned itself out. The attack itself reaches its peak after about 45 seconds, and can only be used on a single enemy within a twenty foot radius. While it could be used twice if absolutely necessary, it is physically draining on Ganymede and would commonly only be used once during battle. Sleet Tempest Snape Pain in the a** holidays. Destiny City should celebrate nothing anymore.

Sapphirine: Corrupted Senshi of Orcas: 2 + 9
The monster jumped. Because...of course it did. That was obviously the best course of action, and honestly, Sapphirine should have been expecting it but...she wasn’t. And of course the shockwave caused by the jump made the senshi stumble and fall down flat on her a**.
She was back up a moment later, scoffing and looking around surreptitiously to see if anyone had noticed, but thankfully everyone else seemed far too focused on the large unstoppable lizard that was thankfully focused on them now instead of the city…
...That might not have been the best idea? They were so small and he was so...huge.
But. “Fluke Slap!”
Sapphirine was going to do all that she could...and try not to fall on her a** again.

Corrupt Senshi Lazurite - 2 + 9 Lazurite nodded and hid a shudder at the idea of a princess...though. She wondered if the princess was pretty. There wouldn’t be much of a point if she wasn’t...an ugly princess...well. That was something for a terrible fairy tale, not real life.
She let out a small noise of confusion as her General reached out to her and suddenly they were teleporing...but it seemed like it had been a good time, as she watched others wobble slightly from the shockwave of the foot. “Oh...Thank you, General Jet! I’ll watch out for the Princess, I promise...but um. I’m sorry, my attack isn’t good for this...I guess I’m not going to be that much of a help after all...I...can keep throwing...rocks? And I can watch out for your back if the Princess tries to attack you! My magic can distract her, I hope!”
Useless against a giant lizard, but...could be useful for a beautiful princess? It balanced out somehow, she was sure. She looked at the other officer and gave a little wave. “Hi!” Not the time to do a meet and greet but…
Nerves manifested in strange ways.
Picking up a larger rock, Lazurite flung it with all of her strength again, pleased that it hit the creature’s leg this time.

General Faustite: 10 + "I don't ******** know your magic like you do," he hissed back. Faustite took the Retribution Senshi by the bicep. "Stop trying to charge it blindly. Think. Look. All this magic they throw, they hit its feet. Think it cares?" The answer, once rhetorical, was taken literally —
A stomp sent a tremor through all their feet, and Faustite was spirited from his charge, heels dug into the grass to save himself from tumbling dozens of feet away. Thin trails of mud remained where he'd been dragged back by the winds, spared only by crouching down. Grimacing, he sought to recover ground.
Teleporting could work, but — who were they kidding? Albite was little more than a tattooed cowboy, and Faustite was a glorified lighter to this thing. Between them, they had no sharp weapon to pierce any part of it, assuming that its enormous, glowing body was real. "Think about the wisps," he yelled to Albite as he returned. "Remember how they behaved. Everything you learned about them. What did you learn —"
His pen cut him off, and Faustite cursed heavy. He pulled the thing from subspace, gave it to Albite to hold before he melted another communicator.
"Copy that, Jet, but cut the crap." He didn't need another gouge about Squiddy. The burnweave General crouched in full, laid a hand over the grass, then raised a blackflame tear in the world.
Except he didn't. There was no tear, no gateway, no youma. Only an empty gesture that left him looking more stupid and inept than he felt moments before. "The ********?" Flame eyes searched the ground for any clues. Then he looked to the monster, its brilliance throwing cast shadows like ropes from their feet. "Can't summon a damn thing," he answered back to the other General.
So far, teleporting up to the thing's face was their best lead, and their best guarantee for getting killed.

Siegfried Knight of Neptune - 11 + 4 = 15 Damage
Siegfried caught her with ease and helped right her. He chuckled at her rock throwing. "We really need to get you some combat training, love," he said, squeezing her arm. "Toge---" The beast cut his words off as it lumbered forward and a shockwave rippled through the crowd.
Silver eyes flared wide as his feet left the ground and he flew backwards. He twisted mid air and pulled Albireo to his chest, aiming to keep her from hitting the deck without him behind her. His back cracked against a bench, the air of his lungs forced about by being pinned between the bench and his love.
"Y'a okay love?" he wheezed, pushing the two of them into a sitting position. Siegfried got both of them up onto their feet, and chucked a rock at the monster. His first course of action was making sure Albireo was alright.
As he looked back at her, the faint smell of sea water curled around his nose and seafoam began to coat his form. The Neptune symbols on his uniform flared with light.
"Ready, Albireo?"

Lt. Mourite - 6 + 2 = 8 Damage
Several notifications flared across his communicator, as several Generals and smarter agents than he sent out distress signals. Mourite couldn't quite remember seeing this many powered individuals all together like this, all fighting towards a common goal, regardless of faction. It was.
So very weird.
There'd been several holidays in the last few years since he became Mourite that had had weird things go on, but he couldn't quite remember something like this. He landed as a woman in white appeared next to him. By all appearance, she was a Cosmos knight, of a different sort to Dinara. Much, much more powerful, that was for sure. He raised a brow at her, smirking, when the beast did just about the thing the Cosmos Knight was warning about.
Mourite launched himself back, landing in a bit of a heap on the ground with a grunt.
"Well, that coulda gone better," he groaned, picking himself up. Something shot through his shin and he winced. Damn, alright, be more careful of the giant lizard monster thing and the feet. Well that was going to make fighting a little problematic. He limped a little back up next to the Cosmos Knight and clenched his fists.
"I'm gunna assume your fancy magic doesn't exactly work on those of us in the Negaverse... At least you're not pointing it at me," he said with a flash of a grin. He didn't get much damage out on the monster, the gash on his leg distracting him too much. There'd be other attempts it was fine.
Besides... there was just something about this knight that made him pause.

Dark Mirror Lacerta (Super of Bandages): 5 + 3 = 8 dmgWell the amount of auras flickering around her meant that the enemy was truly engaged. Lacerta's ears though caught her own name in the fray and she glanced around before spotting a familiar face. Well - it was familiar, wasn't it? Her breath caught before she hurried closer to the dark mirror senshi that had called her name. While she had been upgraded after that strange shadow world and then corrupted it looked like this individual had also gained an increase in power. "Arnica?"As soon as his name left her lips she grinned before feeling the massive impact under her feet. The strength of the jolt surprised the redhead and she found herself needing to grab onto Arnica's arm just to steady herself. The dust that rose from the impact almost got into her eyes but she managed to slam her eyes closed in the nick of time. It was when her eyes were closed that she felt the blooming aura of another dark mirror. One that was really familiar to her and she gasped before risking opening her eyes. Was Remarque around here too?
