Alexandre EvansScore: 6Feeling a brush of something against his side sent a shiver up his spine, as he found he couldn't power up and confront it. Damn it! This was not the time to have his power fail him, he needed to power up. He needed his weapon, he needed a way to fight whatever was here, he had to keep himself and Aiden safe...whenever he found Aiden.
When he did hear his name, and see someone approaching, the ashen blond hurried his way towards the figure. "Aiden." Oh! He looked ok, and he did take the time to check the other over. "Something is in the dark." A lot of somethings if he was guessing right, he'd seen movements of shadows and heard noises he shouldn't have heard. There was a lot going on that they couldn't see. "We should move towards other people for our safety." It would be in numbers, he was sure, and if others were powered up than they'd be safer still - since he couldn't power up.
"We need to keep together no matter what."

Well, this certainly was looking rather bad for them all. As people started to gather, into groups, it brought more light into areas and made it easier to see into the darkness - or maybe it was lightening on it's own. Either way she could see shadows, large ones, flitting about. This wasn't good - for any of them. She had no one around her and she knew no one here, how she fished for the familiar face of Jada or Kalichore. Either would be a welcome sight for the senshi of vampires.
As she shifted, and moved, she could hear steps coming towards her, sometimes closer and sometimes less, but they moved fast and sounded like stones cracking together. What was it? Shadows didn't make sounds though...at least not like stone. So what else was here, or was nothing else here? She suspected something else...
While she tried to move towards other lights, to find anyone she could keep close to, she hit into something. It moved! It moved on it's own...not like something she knocked over but it moved! It had hair and why was something hairy here! She heard stone, saw shadows and felt fur. This was worrying her as she wondered what was hiding in the darkness...multiple things? Multiple types of things.

Ok, so this was not something he expected by becoming a senshi. Being pulled into some shadow like world, or something, and tripping over s**t. This was annoying and dangerous as hell, and it seemed to be getting worse, why were shadows moving around and he was hearing stones or something like that? This shouldn't be possible even though magic was real...so anything was possible then - right?
But why, when he tried moving, did he feel something breathing down the back of his neck - literally? He didn't feel anything behind him and yet he felt breath on the back of his neck, and it was cold, this was not what he had signed up for...though he hadn't signed up to start with now had he.
Well, at least there were others around and maybe he could get some help so he didn't somehow kill himself, or get killed by some shadow, because dying was not something he really wanted to do. As he moved towards the lights he felt something against his leg...fur? It felt like fur. Just lovely.

He nearly fell back from the force of the hug but soon stabilized his footing and wrapped his arms around her. "It's okay. We are all here and there are some knights and senshi with us. We aren't on our own, and I'm here. We'll work on figuring something out." A hand went to rub her back before she let go and introduced him to the other Mauvian..
Kneeling down, he offered his hand.
"Thank you, Brioche. I'm glad you two are together. It's nice to meet a fellow Mauvian. I'm Arthur."
"And yes. I was dragged in my the shadows. I was on my way home to check on someone. I'm hoping since they were indoors that they are safe. How are you holding up?"

"Yes, yes, but also, light banishes shadows if bright enough! I'm sure positivity will brighten us even further!" It was clear, he believed everything he said, and chose to ignore the self insult proclamation. Facts were facts!
The moment Nia threw herself at the other Mauvian, Brioche jumped down again, tail swishing patiently for them to finish. It was a little disappointing, in a way. Being a cat seemed to be less effective in comforting people than he first thought.
But she was happier, and that was all that mattered.
"A pleasure, Arthur." The hand was met with a nudge of his head, rather than another paw. It was easier that way, and meant he didn't have to lift up his stubby little legs and risk the ground slipping out from under him. "Glad to haer you are safe yourself."

There was still much Nia had to learn, but she remembered that much in her almost-panic. "And I'm...I feel like I'm going to be sick or or maybe fall over? I know why, it's not anything shadowy things induced, I'm -- I don't do well with scary things. I get sick from them." It was easier to say that than admit she might be close to a panic attack, and likely would cause less worry. While she was terrified, she didn't want to worry either of the Mauvians present. Her attention then moved to Brioche, frowning. "If positivity caused the light, I wouldn't be glowing at all, I don't think." Still, she crouched down and gave the feline a scritch to the top of his head, seeming to be a little calmer by just doing that, though she kept looking around, trying to see what all was going around her and just seeing the shadows moving was unnerving. "Too bad we can't just wish ourselves away. That I'm sure I'd have a strong enough will for."

Despite the fact that she’d been grabbed by cold, bony shadow hands and brought into a mysterious realm of darkness, Haven didn’t panic. Was she slightly concerned? Yes. Did she plan on finding her way out of here? Of course. But strange things happened in Destiny City on a daily basis. This was not the most terrible thing to happen to her.
Not yet, at least.
That could always change.
She looked around to get her bearings but could see nothing but herself glowing pale and ghostly in the darkness, and similar sources of light off in the distance, which she took to mean there were other people here with her, but as that always seemed to be the case when these sorts of things happened, it was no more or less than she expected. She drew her Senshi pen out of the sports bag hanging from her shoulder and whispered the proper incantation, but nothing happened, so she sighed heavily and deemed herself s**t out of luck, then put her pen away again.
Voices issued from the dark nearby, one of them reassuring in its familiarity. Haven stumbled her way over, finding the journey difficult. Either she ran into unseen objects, the uneven ground tripped her up, or some sort of creature knocked into her, jostling her this way and that. Maybe they were youma. Or something else? Whatever the case, they didn’t do too much harm. Nothing bit at her, at least, though she’d have plenty of bruises in the morning.
“Sup?” she said upon making her way to Peter. He seemed neither surprised nor impressed by their surroundings, which was a notion Haven shared. “Nice underwear.”
Fortunately, she was not similarly dressed; she’d been whisked here after an evening yoga class on campus. Unfortunately, the leggings she wore were one of her better pairs and she had serious doubts about them surviving the night.
“I’ve got socks if you want some,” she offered, digging through her sports bag again just as someone else called out for Peter. “We’re over here!” she called back toward the other familiar voice. She lowered her own voice into a hushed whisper before continuing, “My pen isn’t working. I don’t know if it’s something about this place or not. God, I hope it’s not busted.”

Daphne Emmerson4Daphne shook her head. No, if Lori had been with her, she wouldn’t have had to resort to Landry’s company, and though she wanted to stay that, she kept her mouth shut and bit her tongue. “I’m not afraid I’m just—“ She broke off and raised a brow as a big man came out of nowhere and literally lifted Landry into the air.
Her lips pursed at that and she bit back yet another retort, wanting to say something nasty about displays of affection, just as Landry had with her, but she again held her tongue. It might be better, traveling with such a strong looking man with them…worst comes to worst she could see if she could hide behind the two to save her own skin…
Or just stay with them until she could find more palatable company.
…Maybe Lori was here, but…she hoped not. She wouldn’t want her friend to have to deal with this nonsense.
“Yeah so…I’m still here. I’m Daphne, and I’m going to assume that your name is Gryphon since that’s what Landry just said I—“ She shuddered as her arm moved to make a point and hit…hit something
Her face paled and she quickly moved her arms across her chest, goosebumps breaking out all over her skin. “…Maybe we should move? Like, find a bigger group I…I’m pretty sure that there are…that there…I mean.” She didn’t want to seem freaked out in front of Landry but. “I swear to god I just hit something, and I swear I feel something breathing on the back of my neck so…maybe we can…go somewhere? Somewhere that isn’t…you know. Here?”

Lysithea4Lysithea continued her walking, feeling things bumping into her, things that felt vaguely like animals, and feeling strange breath on the back of her neck, but she wasn’t going to let it stop her. She couldn’t, this was…just part of the job. Not a job she asked for…and not a mission that she asked for but one that she had half expected. One that she was going to deal with however she could, and when she saw the group of three civilians…one tall and dressed as though he were about to get ready for bed, one with red hair and paw slippers and a girl who seemed like she got pulled into darkness on a daily basis.
Cautiously, Lysithea made her way over and gave what she hoped was a cheerful wave, she was cautions of letting her limbs extend too far into the darkness what with all of the…whatever was out there…being out there. “Uh, hey. I couldn’t help but notice that…you’re all in a group and, maybe you’d want some…super powered help in you know. Being helpful?”
Wow. She was beauty and she was grace, and she was suddenly s**t in talking to new people, who clearly already knew one another but…
She couldn’t just let three civilians be on their own, and they looked young. Like…maybe still high school aged. This was her job, protecting people.
“I’m Sailor Lysithea and I’d like to maybe hang with you…uh. Guys?”

"The bad people are still human like you who made a bad decision. If you look around, they don't seem to be on the up and up on what's going on. If this was the Negaverse going through an operation, then we wouldn't have time like this to meet up and talk this out. They would be quicker about it. At least that's what I think." He said and hoped his rationality was correct.
He moved beside her and knelt down. "Take it easy. Bioche, can you help and continue looking after Polyhymnia? You are doing a much better job then I am." He said, seeing how the senshi was being calmed by letting the Mauvian..
"How about we find some more members of Order? Safety in numbers might be for the best." He set a hand on her shoulder. "And it's okay to be scared. I think a lot of us are. Okay?"

That was until she was pushed over by something in the shadows and fell forwards towards the other senshi. "Owch... something furry just pushed me..." With that, she quickly got back to her feet and rubbed her back.

The pricks of light did not concern him, and he moved around in circles to see where Laven had gone. She had been right beside him but was now gone..
"Laven?!" He called out before he saw another light further off out from the collected, glowing crowd.
He moved forward, stumbling as he tripped over black stones and uneven ground as he moved across the black terrain and closer to the light. It was familiar, the power signature, and as he drew closer he could make out her horns and uniform.
"Lav-" he called but jerked back as she slashed out at the dark. Gritting his teeth, he moved in, arms out to try and grab her wrists and taking whatever swipes she gave. "Laven! I'm here. It's me. Wolfy. I'm here too." He said to her quickly, trying to quell her concern before wrapping his arms around here.
"It's okay. It's okay."
