Even if the judge didn't appear particularly impressed by her performance, a small crowd had gathered and cheered at the end of Autumn's number. Cheering loudly, they tossed a flower that looked suspiciously similar to those from a certain booth handing out leis. They whooped, they stomped, they whistled and hollered! All in support of a very good friend!
"You're amazing!"
"Encore!"
"Why isn't she signed already?"
"Don't give up! You're gonna make it one day!"
The fans all looked mysteriously the same, each face shining with sincere praise. One in particular gave Autumn a wink from in the midst of all the clones before they were off to go smack Xavier away from more of that damn mustard.Green Minuet bravo butterfly-er, moth! more moth? music moth!

style type: Folksy Akkira brushed her hands on her shorts, she could still feel the tingle from the pepper tank in her fingers. She made a mental note to keep peppers out of anything she has to touch she was definitely starting to think she might be allergic to the things. She tapped her cane against the ground occasionally as she walked, mostly to make sure she wasn't actually running into something. Initially she had no intention of stopping a the karaoke place, but Guo's screaming mess of a song could be heard for miles so she figured she'd stop by and either stop Guo from being a s**t or seeing how much fun she could have. Either way was fine. She coughed, She'd been to this booth to sing every night for the last couple nights and she could feel it. Her throat felt sort of raw and she knew she wasn't going to be able to sing as well as she had, this was probably the last night she'd stop at the starlight booth or be singing that week. It was great that she didn't have any jobs for a bit because she was not going to have a voice. She tapped Guo's leg with her cane. " Hey, didn't now you liked singing Guo, lemme give it a go," She coughed a bit after saying that. Maybe her throat was a bit more raw than she thought, she should stop by the bee booths and see if she could get some honey. Once Guo was done with his bit Akkira Took the microphone and began singing. Her voice cracked and several times she had to stop to cough. Was not her best performance she'd ever done. She was mildly surprised that Sascha was there that night and her judge " Ha, yeah, I was going to do something more serious, but I'm kind of losing my voice... so, I should probably go take care of that, " She nudged her blueblood friend to get his attention. " Hey Guo, wanna go visit one of the honey booths or something, I need to get something for my throat or it's going to be gone tomorrow,"

Aandes stared at the young diva in front of him. He could have sighed, he could have laughed. Instead, he straightened his spine and leveled his gaze. Aandes pushed his sunglasses onto the bandana he wore around his forehead to look her straight in the eyes. “Here’s a lesson for you – no favors required. Entitlement on Alternia is a poison, and pretending one is owed something when one has done nothing but flounder and pout doesn’t speak well for one’s character. As a producer, I don’t just have my eye on the talent on the stage. How should I say this… Every interaction is an audition. So – for instance – one would need to move me with some hard work and a solid core. If natural talent comes at the price of high maintenance, it’s not worth paying.” Aandes got up from his chair, picked up his notes and drink, and flipped his sunglasses down over his eyes. “So, I hate to decline, but my schedule is booked and I’ve already made plans. Ta-ta.” Green Minuet smash cut to rasali and aandes laughing uproariously over burgers

quiet delegation Sascha offered Kaldru a wave as the child ran up to take the stage. He noticed Kaldru was looking a little worse for wear, but attributed such to having a good time at Bloodfest. The sight made Sascha feel nostalgic. Unfortunately natural charm couldn't save Kaldru's performance. Sascha rolled his eyes with a smile at the predictable screw-up. He couldn't help but be endeared. "It's not a problem. There are still plenty of nights left to Bloodfest. It's not like Starlight or my amazing talent are going anywhere." He grinned in what he hoped was an encouraging manner. "Well, I mean I'm not always gonna be at this booth in particular, but I'm always down to jam if you see me around."Sascha gave Kaldru a wink. Gl!tch~ Sascha couldn't help but raise one eyebrow as the next troll came onstage. Loudly. He gave a rather sardonic thumbs-up from his seat at the table. "Noted."The technical aspect of the singing was about as sub-par as Sascha expected. Still, he couldn't help but get caught up in how dedicated this guy was to being as extra as possible. Lack of shame was a trait Sascha could get behind. Sascha met the end of the performance whistling between his fingers and clapping with his hand above his head. "Don't quit your night job!"saihen A familiar face pushed their way right up onto the stage, despite Guouli not having left yet. Sascha noted that Akkira seemed to have a specific type of company she preferred to keep. He found the realization one part humorous, two parts unflattering. "Yo, I know spending time with me is like your most favorite thing and all, but don't hurt yourself." Sascha waved the pair off to go drink honey or something. ImaginationsParadise Sascha knew going in this seadweller wasn't exactly the excitable type. That didn't stop him from being put-off by her lack of responsiveness to his compliments. Did she not realize how rare that was? The only reason Sascha would hit up a booth like this one would be to show off. Also she dropped the microphone on the ground. Those things were expensive! Sascha was about to complain, but the violetblood had already left the stage. He looked around the empty booth. Who did she expect to..? Sascha grumbled and stalked over to the stage to pick the microphone back up.

Arte Poppe[ Response from HERE. ]The following night, Autumn could not get the tealblood's words out of her thinkpan. Entitlement. High maintenance. Natural talent. First his words had wounded her, but now they were almost enough to make her laugh. What natural talent? She had been hatched in the swamp, for god's sake, away from any kind of culture or art. Everything she was she had earned through hard work, by immersing herself in a world that was not her own. Yet clearly even that meant nothing, if the judges' reactions were any indication. Then there was his not-so-subtle implication of her being entitled and high maintenance. While the latter might have been true, she had been ready to put aside all comforts, for the sake of learning something in order to improve herself. She did not begrudge the greenblood for his refusal of her offer. She could not expect any troll to take on that responsibility. She did however begrudge him for his elitist attitude, and attempting to reduce her to stereotype. If he had actually bothered to listen to a word she said, he might have taught her something instead of looking like foolish p***k. The second verse started. In front of the microphone, braced to sing, Autumn took a breath. Her eyes caught sight of Sascha behind the judge's table, taking note of her every move. Beneath the patient facade, he looked as about disinterested as she felt. At least that made two of them. Every night had been the same thing: Autumn gave it her all, but failed to impress. Whatever the judges were looking for, she did not have. At this point she was wasting not only their time, but her own. Autumn closed her mouth. The instrumental continued on without her. Clearing her throat, she leaned in towards the microphone. “I'm sorry, but I'm withdrawing,” she said abruptly. “You can go ahead and remove me from the list of applicants. Thanks!” As she pulled away, the speakers screamed with feedback. Of three things Autumn was sure. One: She was not a poor performer. Two: The Starlight Talent Agency was not the end all be all. And three: She had friends in high places. Jogging to the edge of the stage, Autumn glanced over her shoulder at Sascha. “Have a nice night!” she called, her voice nearly drowned out by the music. Then, turning away, she hopped down to where Nucleo and his clones waited. She went to them, smiling. “Thanks for coming to cheer me on,” she said. “I'll never forget it.”seekingCylem Sorry for ditching Sascha!

There she was. Autumn, a cozy, magical and warm captivating time of the sweep that made for a suitable name for the young yellowblood. She was fabulous. She was also defeated.
Cerpin frowned and bit his lip as the dazzling performer stepped down from the mic and waded through the crowd to join a posse of greenbloods. This was wrong. He'd heard the girl practicing her songs many times when he visited the outpost. He'd even been considering inviting her to see his nightclub when she got older. But the look on her face when she'd announced her withdrawal had him scrambling through the mob of people to join her before she completely left the area.
"Hey- Autumn, don't-" He accidentally smacked into one of the Nucleos before grabbing one of her hands, "Wait, what the ********> Cerpin did a double take at the four identical trolls before shaking his head. He'd figure out whatever crazy madness they were later.
"Don't worry about those judges. You're a great performer." His words were sweet and honeyed but he honestly meant them. Cerpin was not going to let Autumn lose her way. If she needed a stage, he was more than happy to provide one. Everyone started somewhere and maybe a nightclub wasn't the ideal for some singers but it was all he could offer.
"I want you to come by my club. It's still pretty new but I think it could give you a lot of exposure still. Think it over, okay?" His eyes met hers and he cracked a friendly smile. He wasn't going to pressure her into signing a contract or something but he did pass her a business card with Underworld's information on it.

STYLE: Arte pop She hadn't intended to come back, though her voice and throat was doing a lot better this time, she was also on a mission. She wanted to see if that other troll, the big one that came after Sascha last time, was going to be there and if she could tempt him into singing with her. How many of these trolls were actually singers? Did they have any talent? Actually now that she thought of it, would she be able to persuade Sascha into getting up on stage some time? Nah, he might try taking over her entire performance. The booth itself was unusually quiet that night, so Akkira found it pretty easy to get over to the judging table. She put on a vibrant smile. " So hey, you know and I know that i'm probably the best singer here, so lets skip the rating and why don't you just come and sing with me?" She leaned forward, resting her hands on the desk. " it'd be a lot more fun that way!" Unaru GONNA roll a 1d4 next post per Sypons instruction since I forgot to pick a style

Apibom had never done anything like singing in front of other people before. They weren't exactly shy, but it was a big deal! Especially in front of a crowd. The small yellowblood had picked out a familiar song to sing along with- something generic that any troll with a radio could hear.
It just so happened that it was a sad song. By the end, the judge was standing and clapping. Api was genuinely surprised by the development, but was pleased nonetheless! They did a little curtsy in response. "Thank you for the opportunity...! A-and I'm okay!" They didn't really understand what Fellah had meant by 'who hurt you'.... was their performance really that convincing?

Poe came back to the booth, ready to sing again. The judge this time was Fellah, and he was really eager to meet him. He sang a folksy tune, forgoing the use of the karaoke machine to sing it ~acoustically~. He didn't need to look at the lyrics of a song to know them! His voice alone would be fine, wouldn't it?
Fellah gave him a thumbs up, and Poeias flapped his hands in excitement. "Thank you sir I'm a big fan! Of you, and your singing, and all sorts of things." He was glad he could see well enough to actually recieve that sort of praise now. Plus, he called him bucko! A friendly, affectionate term of endearment.
