Would it possibly be okay if I change Lyra's name to Melody instead? I like the name better tbh, but if you prefer not than that's fine too. ^^ I'm just wondering how you feel about it, as long as it's okay and all. 3nodding
Plenty of people get their name changed in court if they dislike their original I known someone who changed their name from Sophie to Sophia (don't see why) but it's literally so simple so maybe she can mention that she's gunna do that in roleplay?

Depending on how soon they leave for the job, you could have her leave the guild hall and go take care of it first, but leave it vague where she's going. Then when they're on the job she can mention it to her team so that they know...?

I believe you have to go to the Social Security office in real life? Best to do some research on it and then go by that.

I went ahead and looked it up because I was curious. In real life, you would have to go through the court system to get it legally changed and then update it everywhere else (like the Social Security Admin, Post Office, etc.). Since this RP is based in the modern world, I would think the same process would hold true. So Lyra would go to the nearest court that handles the name change petitions and get it done there. smile

I went ahead and looked it up because I was curious. If you're properly coming back then you need to know your character has been captured during our storyline (he was literally about to be killed off like the others who have jumped ship) so you'll have to do a catch-up with one of us. That ok?
