Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
"Well that's good... Wouldn't want to come out here for nothing." They say shadows are longer in the desert. Xuza is now a believer as she paces and plods along the giant yet subtle curves of the grooves in the red sand; for each step Xuza took, Mira was right there, close but yet not far, as though she was watching/inspecting her instead of the lines.
"Um, I'm gonna get a better view." Xuza realised, reluctantly, that she would probably have to take Mira with her. "... Do you want to come?" If she went along, Mira would end up taking in the topographical view of the lines etched in these sands. It was strange--something Xuza'd never seen before.

 Yakō Gōkana Tsukikage The Luxurious Moon WitchFormer Captain Of The Witches Retrieval Corps Yosuzume waves to Yakō to indicate she'd finished reviewing the information. As an assassin dissecting bit of information came easy to her. The two talk for a moment in some unknown language before addressing the others.
Yosuzume pulls a special scroll out her pocket and makes preparations to transport them. Well from what we've gathered I think we have enough to warrent a visit to the monestary. Much like the miester the monks seem to have been a specialized force that used to help the old Shinigami. There is also mention of something along the lines of cleansing madness referenced here and there in the text. While Yosuzume readies our means of transportation Is there anything anyone would like to say or ask . ......

Jak lets Saiko sit on his lap, thinking nothing of it. The Saiko asked abut killing and Jak sighed. He then listened to Amaras answer and nodded. Jak then looked around the room, for anything to entertain himself with but he found nothing. Yako then began to speak about a monastery and stuff. Jak wuld nod, acting as if he fully knew what she was talking about and shook his head when asked if he had any questions. Jak would then pick Saiko up and place her on the ground so he could stand. "Well im good to go whenever." Jak says waiting for everyone else to respond before going out, actually he was waiting for someone to lead the way. hehe.

"So who do we get to kill master?" Saiko asked blunty as she licked her lips, and both of her hands twitched a little, it seemed like the blood thirsty version of herself was getting too anxious, seeing the people around her, standing around. She wanted some action, she wanted to kill something or someone, with a sigh she leaned against Jak and said to him. "Can we go now master?" Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
She was holding a hot rock, more or less. The way she was acting was just so... Off. Xuza reached out, tentatively at first, and fastened her arms around the weapon's waist and hoisted her into the realm of Re and Khepri. From up there they could see this strange glyph in all its confused glory.
"Do you--Do you have any idea what this is?" It was circular, looking more like an alchemical symbol than a hieroglyph. Given that this was closer to the pyramids than anything--although they couldn't be seen--it begged the question of who could have done this; why were out here?

NPC Mira Naigus Inteligence Department Headmaster "Splendid!"Mira replied as she observed the ancient rune like marks unfold from the sand like ancient secrets escaping from a tombstone. It didn't seem like Mira would mind Xuza's company at the very least. And more likely focused on the task at hand. "We should follow those. Can we take a whole picture? it may lead us to a clue regarding the Phoenix or Paradox... Still I could almost bet it's more likely to be the first one."

The blonde haired witch has her Shinigami put away any leftover food before dismissing them and retrieving thier ofuda. I don't see any harm in you taking it. It could come in handy later. Now that we are all on the same page let's be off. Everyone go in two at a time. It'll be easier that way. Yatagaratsu and I must go last. The distortion widens giving them all a clear view of the path to the Monastery.

They floated up there for a moment. It was enough for Xuza to keep her cool; for whatever reason the multitude of those phantasmal voices assailed her even faster, welcomed almost, when she was using her ethereal wings to work her magic. The idea came across simply enough from Mira: take a pic of it! Xuza nodded and fished her phone out of her pocket, holding onto Mira as she did, and snapped a copy of this labyrinthine layout--whatever it actually was.
"That should do it," she said, somewhat beleaguered. "Let's go down and check out what we have." For a moment it seemed Xuza was taking the lead in this investigation. It felt good, for what it was worth in this situation. Back on the ground, she was finally able to get her head more clear. She looked to Mira, holding her phone like some bragging teen, watching for a reaction as though she was know anything about the subject matter, because...
"You've studied the case, right? Is there anything in the file that looks like this? I've never seen anything like it..." At a loss, it would be up to Mira to determine whether or not this image was indicative of Paradox's work, from the monastery, or something else entirely (go ahead and guess. Please feel free to research runes and alchemic symbols or ask if you need to).
(For when you arrive)
The monastery itself looked like the gateway and capitol of another world. Perched atop a craggy cliff which spilled out of a vert glen, it held mountain, ocean, desert, and forest in its roots. At this point in the day the air was streaming with warbling chants and incense; even from as far away as three fourths of a mile it could be smelled, and heard even farther. But the feeling! That was what was most prominent. The place was like a giant battery, pumping out energy as though it was the only thing it could do, let it break apart, spilling into the ocean. The only thing that was missing was sight. No monks could be seen from the walkway leading up.

Jak watches as a distortion in space is opened. Jak looks into it to see the monastery. "Us first." Jak says while walking through the distortion and enters the monastery outskirts. Jak then waits for everyone else before going further in.

Yosuzume and Yata come thru last and the distortion closes. Yakō looks around for a moment and dust herself off. . This place. Feels so full of life. Can you all feel it? I don't like it. Makes me itch.
