Synopsis:
Years before the erecting of the DMA, the Battle on the Moon decided the fate of Shibusen and the world. It is no question that such a pivotal event was well-remembered, but unfortunately it was not well-documented. Because of this there have been numerous accounts of what had actually transpired. Obvious political biases shifted the direction of the story several feet from center. One such bias was forgotten: the Phoenix side. In the legend passed down at the Monastery the pivotal battle was also fought by a representative of the Brotherhood. He was the Iron Phoenix before Illo, and his power was undeniable. They refer to him by name, but at Shibusen the tale had morphed into an urban legend: The Man on the Moon.
Thirty years later and the school had all but forgotten the significance of the event, religating it to an obligatory chapter in the introductory history classes. Illo, the current Iron Phoenix, has little clout thanks to a largely ignored contribution from the Phoenix Brotherhood. Further stains to their reputation from Illo left the school with no option but to try and cover up the incident altogether, but when a file on the Man on the Moon is discovered (by Han or Mira) it is up to Shibusen’s special task force The Furious Angels to uncover the truth looming overhead.
