Well...Sir Merlin was rude. The youth shook his head before watching the Great Knights...oh...that looked interesting. As he made to follow the two he tripped on a rock and smacked a tree. AHA NOT A WALL!!!!!!!!!!!! Rubbing his head he heard a knight call him out...with a wave he walked back to the courtyard...
He needed a helmet.

Apparently curiosity would get the best of her, and Maple found herself following after them like a few of the others were. Her attempt didn't go without some mishaps of course, and the young girl wasn't sure if it was just her luck in life that she managed to run into a few objects along the way - along with accidentally stepping on a chicken somehow - or if the courtyard was just that messy to begin with. But, she had managed to hit a door as well before she got to the right door.
Though, she didn't know if she liked what she was hearing and if it had been a good idea. Cursed?! Was she cursed? Would she know if she was cursed? Maple's brows creased with worry and she made a small little sound of distress.

Shun tilted his head, watching Riley pantomime and mouth out her question. His gaze drifted down the hall as he thought about that. It didn't take long before he gave a firm shake of his head.
Running would just make it all the more obvious that they had been touched by the curse.
The man closed his eyes as he tried to think of what to do. Something needed to be done about Mordred. The problem was that he didn't even really know what he was. Merlin had kicked them out of the tower where the casket was. It was possible that the Black Knight could help them out once he realized what was up with that box.
Finding Merlin was not going to be easy.
And there was always that possibility that Merlin was not even on their side. The prophecy and hidden casket had been in there, when he first left the place. It just seemed... odd.

The entire thing was a mess. The courtyard was a mess. The Great Knights were a mess. His own knight had been sucked into a mirror and came out as the witch Morgana, and Bradley couldn't tell if he'd been the witch the whole time or if Morgana was just hiding in the mirror.
Then the gate disappeared.
Then it was time to do clean up. He made an effort help, sort of. He was unhappy he couldn't kill more of the horsemen and shadows. He was conflicted about the whole Morgan thing. He was a Red knight without a Great Knight. He'd step up to the plate, but he saw others with their weapons.
He had no sacred weapon.
Maybe he needed that first.
He watched Galahad wander off and wondered if he should go find out what happened. Or perhaps it was better to be left in the dark. No need to worry about things that didn't concern him.
Like if there were other traitors in their mist.

My character's name: Bradley Evans Character's journal link:[ x ] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Bradley is a tall young man with brown hair and brown eyes. He's incredibly gunho about this whole knight thing. He's jovial, hardworking, and really likes to smash things with objects. Almost too much. Many a barn has been destroyed because he gets too 'smash happy'. He's hoping joining the Red Faction will temper some of that excess energy. He's decently trained with war-scythes and other polearms. Rank of character Knight Apprentice
The fact that Mordred was very much alive and not trapped in a coffin was news.
But so was the exchange he was currently overhearing from behind a stack of boxes. He didn't like what he was hearing, actually. He had no interest in being 'taken care of', and he was pretty certain he'd know if he was cursed or corrupted. Plus, Morgana was gone. She had a chance to invade the castle and didn't take it.
He was starting to not feel very bad about what he'd done to Gawain.
Everything seem like a blur to Shayne as he couldn't even remembering coming to the courtyard. Seeing the great knight that was over him, got tear apart was too much for the poor boy. Theonly thing was on Shayne's mind now was "Where was Camllia?"also "Was she still alive?" and "Did Camilla got tore apart like Percival?" Stuff like this was races around Shayne's mind as he couldn't stand to lose her. Especailly after finding out that they are friends now.

He was still clearing the courtyard full of items when that happened. In a booming sound the castle door opened and two persons---Great Knights stormed out, their faces flustered. What happened?
They walked so fast things below their feet are either kicked away or stepped flat. There must be something very important that they looked like that-
Rei acted as he wanted to pick up more rubbish to dispose of, but actually he tailed them; the two knights entered the barracks and locked the door.
Suspicious. Rei gently pressed his ear to the door, listening closely.
...what? He can't believe what he heard. The Great King...has been found? Dueling with Morgana?
The two knights bickered about what should they do next: should they both go and aid the king, or?
The conversation ended abruptly. Mordred will guard Camelot while Percival retrieve the King. As the footsteps nearing the door, Rei hides away in the trashbag he's been toting around.
After he can't hear any footsteps, he peeked out of the trash bag, surprising a passing knight. Something is wrong, he thought, while following the sound of gasps. [Rei exits!]

Chel's eyebrows were knit as she stared at the note. It made absolutely no sense to her, seeing as in her eyes it was a bunch of squiggles. Why she'd even bothered to pick up a note with words when she couldn't read was a mystery. An absolute mystery.
She crumpled the note and crammed it in her pocket. Maybe the paper would come in handy later. Maybe it wouldn't. Chel was sort of a packrat hoarder and refused to give anything up, even her rolls from the banquet hall.
That hall seemed so long ago ...
It brought back memories of Morgan and her eyebrows knit together again. So what had he been? Just a shell for the creepy shadow queen lady? Chel had seen him bleed. Had that meant nothing? Not to mention how was any of this possible without those strange artifact runes she'd been told about ...?
Deep in thought she almost missed the conversation between the great knights. She had been skulking around when she heard the words "cursed" and "queen." Those words were more than enough to pique her interest, since Chel had caught wind that not everything in this castle was right. She kept her head up and her ears open for new details.
Something about the cursed individuals had to be dealt with ... spies among the castle ... Chel felt a shiver down her spine. Suddenly this tromp through Camelot seemed to be getting a lot more serious than defeating shadows. The more she listened the more she wondered what the hell she had been tinking to give up her memories for this. It must have been a handsome amount of money, because Chel honestly couldn't think of another reason to go through with this bullshit.
Either way, she followed both of the knights until she couldn't anymore and was thusly seized to the dungeons for examination.
Somehow Camilla found her way back to the Courtyard... Rumble, Bodies, and the half desolved corpse of the giant shadow snake lay everywhere... It seemed odd that she might go from carnage to carnage... But the reason that she was here was a call to help clean up had been put out! She needed desperately to do something meaningful something worth while! And so here she was moving rumble and occasionally corpses... It was hard dirty work and yet to her surprise her Tabard stayed mostly clean... One more point for magic she guessed wearily... Finding out the Galahad was spearheading the clean up however put Camilla in slightly better spirits! She was very glad to see the Great Knight was safe and happily followed his commands on where to move what all while under his watchful gaze
Eventually though she needed a break... Silently she goes to sit down on a piece of rumble when her foot hits something... Seriously? Was this a thing with her now? "Hm?" she hums curiously then leans over to pick it up... What it turned out to be was a simple silver flask with no ornamentation... It looked like a knight had carried it into battle and likely lost it when they parished... Frowning Camilla opens it then holds it to her nose to check it's contents instantly she jerks it away and flinches back as the powerful odor of spirits hits her full on! "Eeep! Wooo are these powerful spirits!" she exclaims in surprise then quickly caps the flask! ...There was no way she was going to drink this! Just nope! And for a moment she considered returning it to where she found it... However after thinking on it she slides the flask into her belt before sitting down the alcohol could be useful for treating wounds later
Finally after a few minutes of rest she stands up then stretched a bit ready to get back to work it was then after bending down to pick up the stone she gad just sat on that she saw him! "Hm? Ah! Shayne!" She gasps then exclaims forgetting the rock Camilla made to go over to him but was intercepted by Galahad and a small slue of knights "H-huh?" she mutters disappointedly before it is explained to her that a plague of some kind was spreading through the castle and all Knights needed to go to the dungeon for quarantining! Frowning sadly Camilla nods then after one more look towards Shayne allows the Knights to escort her down

She caught sight of Wrath and watched him from a distance, head tilted to one side and eyes following his every mood. He seemed upset, and for some reason that bothered her; Na'ima wasn't quite sure why that bothered her. Shaking her head, she jumped when she suddenly noticed Mordred approaching Galahad. Wait. They had said Mordred was dead and locked in a casket. Had she missed them freeing him? Or were they wrong? This warranted investigating.
Na'ima followed them, as did many others. She didn't even care about the things she stepped on, they were hardly an obstacle for her. She stuck close to the wall, head against the wall with her ear near the door as she listened closely.
Her eyes narrowed. Cursed? She was not cursed. How dare they. She had no side-effects, no strange behaviors, every action she took was her own willful decision! A gloved hand clenched into a fist as she pushed away from the wall. Damn him. She was not some puppet, some cursed little spy working for someone else. She didn't know what it was about this mark, she didn't know what exactly it did, but quite frankly Na'ima didn't dislike it. How dare they.

Had Nellie not already been to the Tower and found that casket that triggered that particular vision regarding Mordred, never in her wildest dreams would she ever think of tailing both Galahad and Mordred to make an attempt at eavesdropping on their conversation. But she was there and she had her suspicions as to whether the Mordred whom she saw was a phoney who was out to destroy Camelot like the sidhe queen that had impersonated as Morgan.
She really should have been more careful going about this though for she walked directly into another knight in the midst of her own eagerness when she rounded the corner to get to the stable where both Great Knights were. Needless to say of course, she was escorted back to the courtyard by the same knight and given the task of cleaning up the mess for an hour while she reflected on her errant behaviour.

For a moment, Ignatius pondered her question, before commenting, "Well, Morgana sent out those butterfly things. Maybe they'll be near the Morgan supporters?" It was a thought, anyway, though he didn't see any shadow butterflies anywhere himself.
After shooting the other knight a small glare for commenting on eating chickens--though thankfully he clarified he meant eating other chickens besides for little Clucky here--Ignatius fell silent. Was this guy suggesting they were all sidhe or something other? There was no way. Ignatius was definitely human. That was why he had flesh and was a knight of Camelot!
He opened his mouth to answer when Mordred came by to talk to Galahad. He was back? What did he want to talk to Galahad about? Was it about the sidhe, or the other Great Knights? Ignatius was now suspicious of the Great Knights' actions after Morgana and what she had done to all of them--especially his own leader, Percival--and so he turned to the other three, put a finger over his lips, and crept after the two of them.
What he heard was, at best, alarming. Mordred was claiming they were all not corruptible, like that other knight--what was his name anyway?--was suggesting, but in fact already corrupted. And Galahad was convinced enough to say he was going to handle it.
Oh no.
He turned tail and crept over to where the other three stood, looking slightly spooked. "I think they think we're already corrupted. All of us."
Ignatius was suddenly wishing they had failed at taking the drawbridge out after all.
