Sakiko put her glasses back on and fixed her hair. She was half tempted to ask how he liked her new look but that seemed a bit.. much. She accepted the items staring him in the eye with a look strangely between longing and the permanent look of disinterest she naturally had. After packing her things she bowed a little, being a bit old fashioned even for someone from Lavender. She thanked him and took her leave so he could get back to what she imagined to be world changing work. "See you around Professor and thank you very much! I hope to return with an excellent data collection!" She seemed to stare at him as she backed out the doorway and slowwwwwly slid it closed never taking her gaze off him.
Nothing else strange would seem to happen after she made her way out... this time... not anything of her doing anyways she was determined to pick up a good travel partner alongside this one but where to start she wondered. A slowpoke was certainly high on her list partly because it was simply a realistic goal for someone just starting out again. ╠═══════════════════════════════════════════════╣

Professor Oak nodded, giving a bow when she did, and straightening. That nervous sweatdrop returned as she eerily left, but he still managed to lift a hand from his lab coat pocket to give a wave. "Aha, yes.... Good luck!" he called back. What an... interesting girl. He scratched the back of his head after she had left, chuckling a little, and then turning to go back to work.
okazaki sprays cologne and looks at himself in the mirror. "Ahhhh today's the day. The day I start my life." Okazaki has always wanted to be a Pokemon Trainer, but after his father died, he had to help support his family instead. After striking gold in a mountain his family became wealthy allowing Okazaki the chance to start his dream. Okazaki puts hair in his gel, and styles the small strands of hair that wont obey. "Todays the day I get my first pokemon from Proffesor Oak!!" Okazaki does a final check of his hair and walks down stairs. His mom had left a small breakfast out for him. He grabs his food and walks out the door eating on the way. He approaches professor Oaks lab. Standing outside the building his nerves grew large. "Well this is it" giving him self a little more re assurance " Here we go." He opens the door to the lab and walks to the back of the building. There he see's proffesor Oak. "Proffesor, I'm sorry it's early... Do you have a minute?" Okazaki did everything he could to hold down the excitement. His legs started shaking, Anxious to finally hit the road and set out on his adventure.

The Professor was looking over a message from a recent visitor to the lab, sweat dropping a bit at the eerie, creepiness of her message, but straightened up. Not sure how to even begin a response to something like that, he turned, noticing the young man and straightening up, giving a welcoming smile as he approached the young man. "Not a problem at all," he replied with a chuckle, "I tend to get to my work early. How can I help you?"

He bows trying to hide his nervous expression on his face. "I've waited for so long to have this chance" Okazaki straightens up and smiles, "That is if you have any left sir"

Professor Oak chuckled sympathetically. The poor young man was nervous. It was fairly easy to see. "Of course, I have all three starters available, if you'd like to take your pick," he replied encouragingly, moving over to the incubator that housed all three, "We have Charmander, the fire type, Bulbasaur, the grass type, and Squirtle, the water type. You're welcome to release them from their pokeballs if you'd like to see what they look like." This was an important decision, after all. He wanted to encourage the young man to take as much time as he needed to make it.

"I've registered a pokedex for you as well," he explained, "It will tell you information on the pokemon you encounter, and record further data on those you catch. I'd also like to give you some potions and pokeballs to get you started, if you're interested."

Its almost like a masterball. There's not many of them ya know?" okazaki looks at his pokeball. he turns around and presses the release button. "Alright Charmander come on out" He yells. Okazaki looks as charmader comes out. He see's its orange skin and tiny fire on his tail. He looks over at proffesor oak. "Thank you for everything sir! Im going to head on out now. Ill be sure to come and visit when I come and see my mom" He smiles as he waves. "Come on charmander lets go."

The Professor looked visibly confused at the young man's comment. Charizard didn't become dragon type without the mega stone... so why pick it? And mega stones were specific to the pokemon, so if he did get a Charazardite, X or Y, he wouldn't really have the option of using it on others, like a Master ball. But the young man was already leaving, and Professor Oak simply gave a nod and a wave. "Good luck," he bid in farewell, "Let me know if you need any help."
William finally arrived in Prof. Oak's laboratory. He had planned for these day for a long time that he had already knew what pokemon he had wanted. The boy stopped by the door and spent a few minutes deciding whether he should just enter and called for the professor or pushed the bell. The bell won out as he didn't dare to intrude when he and the professor are stranger. He was nervous while he waited for the professor to come out. I hope there's still pokemon left for me to pick . . . he thought. He even started to smooth out his outfit that he had smoothed out so many times before he even arrive out of nervousness.

Im so sorry nobody got to you yesterday. I guess they didn't understand what i was trying to ask them to do. I was suffering from a massive migraine and couldn't think to save my life. sweatdrop
The bell rang out, louder then it should have been. Speakers both inside and out announced the sound. It wasn't long after that an assistance answered the door. "Oh um hello, can i help, you. Oh wait you most be here for a beginners Pokemon am i right. Come on in. Professor oaks in the yard feeding the pokemon." The young man pushed the door upon for the young man stepping back to his work in the other room. Not far behind him a second door, one to the back yard swung upon and in stepped the man in question. "Ahhh yes, sorry about that. Feeding the pokemon can be quit a task. So how may i help you today young man."
William's attention immediately snapped toward the young man the moment he heard the door opened. "yes, I am," he replied curtly, then followed the man who he assumed to be the assistance as he was too young to be a professor, though, he would recognize Professor Oak on sight due to how famous the professor is. Inside, he wasn't left alone long enough as another door swung open. The person who came is Professor Oak. It took him a moment to register that he was being addressed as his mind was preoccupied between trying to see what's beyond the other door to the yard and seeing Professor Oak in person. " yes, well, I am here hoping for a starter pokemon," he replied in a hurry after his brief silence. Keenly aware he was a little late to answer. " I hope there's still a bulbasaur left," he added.

The professor taking his seat at a small put heavily cluttered desk began work on a Pokedex he'd produced from inside the desk. Most of the clutter was paper work and open books laid one atop another, with brightly colored id tags sticking out from seemingly randomized pages. "Ahhh a Bulbasuar, a reliable Pokemon to be sure and whats your name young man. I'll need it to program your Dex. Its a most for any aspiring trainer, it can also act as your trainer ID if your under age that is." Stopping to look to the boy as the assistant from before returned. With him he had the Pokeball containing the pokemon he'd requested as well as Potions and Pokeballs. "Here you go professor.' He would say before stepping out the room and into the back yard again.
William had made his choice of pokemon long before he came to Kanto, in fact, he had picked to start his journey in Kanto for the type of pokemon given. Among all starters, bulbasaur appealed to him the most --- well, that and chikorita, but William doesn't want to start a journey in his home region --- The pokemon can learn various helpful move that hinder opponent, will never get poisoned due to being part poison, and it can heal itself to top it off. " They looks like so," William agreed with the professor. He said it like that as he knew from experience that it also heavily dependent on the pokemon's personality. Normally, starter pokemon are guaranteed to be easy to handle, so he won't have to worry about that. Just in case though, he would be sure to check the pokemon first, so if there's anything wrong or they didn't get along from the get go, he could ask for a different pokemon.
"William," he answered, "William Cornell," then he repeated as he realized after answering that the professor would need his full name to register him to the pokedex.
