Blight is an extremely patient and kind girl always ready to lend an ear to someone who needs it. She has never really encountered true evil and is very naive to the many shapes it takes. She is very easily taken advantage of and though she tries to be dependable and self sufficient this mare would never have survived without her familiar. A ferret she calls brother whose name is Ghost. Ghost always steers her away from the worst of things.
When she was young a half kalona took advantage of this self same naivety and gained her trust and affection then used her and left her pregnant with his foals. She is very ashamed of this event in her life and will shy away from discussing it with others unless she knows them extremely well.

Blight's history is spotted with blood and violence. When she was young she got lost in a forest near her family home, and wandered there for weeks before finally finding her way out to the cave her family shared. When she got there all she found was corpses, blood, and the stink of rotting flesh. Her parents and younger sister had been killed by something though only the gods know what for the bodies were not eaten upon, just slaughtered brutally. She ran from the site and never looked back, but the event left a stain upon her. Her at the time fragile mind shattered and she developed a fragmented reality in which she had become separated from her family and would find them one day. Ghost knows the truth but he doesn't bring it up for fear of breaking her completely.
Her son Skaalbjorn was abducted by a Kalona, and she has yet to find him again but she looks for him everyday. Loosing her son has broken her significantly and only a lot of time, patience, and love will fix her.

Ghost is a conniving ferret. Always looking for ways to fleece someone out of their greatest treasure even if to him the item is worthless. If there is one thing that Ghost is though its protective over his ‘big sister’ Blight. He is always coming up with ways to fend off what he believes to be unwelcome advances by stallions. In fact Blight is looking for love and Ghost does not think that any stallion is worthy to keep her as his own.

Ghost came from a small forested area not far from the place that Blight now calls home. He lived there with his rather large family until he became bored with the squabbling and fighting. Striking out on his own he found Blight quite quickly and attached himself to her vowing to protect her from anything he can. Though considering his small stature most threats that would be a great danger to Blight could eat him in a single bite.
Ghost has a small thief band made up from all the familiar’s in Luna’s herd.
