Listlessly wandering was not something she had done in a long time, but this time it just felt right. She had needed to get up and move again, her wanderlust striking hard after he had dissapeared without a trace. One of her three children, her only son had wandered off into the plains to play and had never come back. Though she had searched and searched she couldn't find him. All scent traces just vanished near a lake. She had broken down and cried that night and hadn't stopped crying for nigh on a week. Finally she had gotten sick of how they all stared at her like she was some fragile thing that would break if they even breathed heavily near her. She'd left her sleeping daughters in the care of her herd sister, an alicorn by the name of Leilani and had left in the night. Looking about herself she realized she had no idea where she was.
Ghost watched his sister carefully. She had been acting peculiar since her son had vanished and he felt so terrible for her, even though he hated the little half kalona monster. He was sleepy from their long travel but he knew that Blight needed some peace at the moment. When she stopped and looked about herself as if confused he pipped up, "Is everything okay Blight?"
"Yes yes... Everything is fine Ghost, just got back to sleep." She hated lying to him but he didn't need to know just how fragile she was right now.

Dante was still searching. For what? Well, he was not too sure, Though he was sure he would know when he found it, his own Wonderland. Wandering across the landscape had been interesting, though he would be lying if he said he did not miss Hatters Hole. It was a Paradise - That just so happened to be infested with the scum of the Earth. He did not miss them as much, especially a certain Mob Boss.
He was not expecting company. But Company he found.
'Just go back to sleep.'
He paused for a second, his ears twitching in reaction to the voice. He was so lost in his own thoughts he did not even notice he was approaching a stranger. He shook his head, reminding himself to keep his wits about him, afterall he was being hunted. After receiving a quick scolding from his inner self a smirk came to rest on his lips. He had nothing better to do, maybe something interesting would come from investigation, it would not be the first time. He approached the source of the noise and quickly came across the white mare, it was not a very discrete colour, he would know. Unless you were laying flat in the snow at night camouflage was just impossible, it is something that made them vulnerable. And easy to spot luckily for him.
"Yes, go back to sleep little Ghostling. It is ever so late."
His voice was soft and almost had an underlying purr to it. His eyes gleaming with mischievous intent.

Ghost watched his sister for a moment, his little brain working, attempting to figure out if she was lying to him. She looked like a stiff wind would shatter her to pieces. 'She really does miss that little thing... Doesn't she?' The question though invaded his mind. He blinked and wondered how that was possible considering the father who'd impregnated her. He shivered when remembering how she had explained her encounter with Svanbjorn. Slippery as a snake that one. "Okay then..." He closed his eyes and laid his little head back down, but one ear was still listening in case of threats.
Blight eyed Ghost until she was absolutely sure he was asleep, she just didn't need him questioning her right now. Not him, not her only friend in this world. Then on the wind a voice reached her, speaking disjointed words like 'sleep' and 'ghostling'. Words that made no sense to her until she spotted the stallion that spoke them. He was white like her, but with red stripes on his back and down his back flanks. His long wild hair was bound slightly with a hair pin decorated with a rose. She cocked her head as she looked him over. He was unique in appearance and even she could admit pleasing to look at. She didn't however react to how he looked so much as why he was here in this strange place. The sparsely wooded area left much to the imagination. Fluttering her fragile wings she said, "Greetings." It was a simple enough word and though she was sure she wasn't quite in her right mind with her grief still so close to the surface she could at least be polite. Her mother had taught her as much. 'Always be polite, dear...' The voice echoed out of her past, a voice she hadn't heard in five years, and likely never would again. Her already broken heart, splintered further but on the outside nothing showed. She may as well have been made of cold white marble.

"Greetings."
Dante smirked and bowed a knee, lowering his front and kneeling before the mare. His thick black hair fell onto his face, only one vivid eye was left visible, and it was fixed on her. What lovely hues.
Dante had never been a fan of blue. His mother was blue, his brother was blue, his father was blue... His sister, Virgil, the only one he loved was a range of reds and yellows, and as such he had always loved those warm colours more. However even he had to admit this mare and her icy tones were very pleasing. He straightened up and cleared his throat, then like a vulture began to wander off to the side as if to drink in her appearance even more, shadow still fell over half his face.
A small purr escaped his throat.
"Now you are a curious one. I have never seen eyes like those before, are you from Wonderland my dear? I can not believe this world is capable of spouting such a unique beauty." His words were smooth and his voice quiet but slightly chilly - like there was someone nearby, for all all he knew someone was. He had heard her converse with someone and he was not willing to let down his guard until he knew who it was. Mares had always been a weakness and he would not put it past Elliot to bribe one into luring him in.
Too bad bunny, he was not quite ready to bite the carrot.
"But you are not alone, I heard two voices earlier and you are only one?"

She turned her head to one side and watched him as he bowed before her, though she was unsure if his gesture was gentlemanly or mocking. She suspected the latter. The remark or her eyes almost caught her off guard. Svan had said something rather like that when they'd first met. How curious her eyes were... Clenching her teeth she stopped a choking sob from escaping her throat. She didn't want to think about him, not ever again. He'd had his way with her and left her cold one day leaving not a trace as to where he went. "I am unsure what you mean. My eyes are not what you are used to?" She was teasing him and immediately felt bad about it.
Blinking slowly she eyed him as he moved off to one side, she would have thought the movement predatory but this stallion didn't have the look of a predator to him. The Wonderland comment made her think that he was mad, but once again her mother's voice chastised her for the rude thoughts. She almost lifted her lip in a snarl but thought better of it. "Truly I have never heard of a place with that name good sir" The inflection could be felt, she didn't think him a gentleman at all and the title sir was usually tied to gentlemen. Gentleman didn't go about wandering dark forests at night and asking strange questions about stranger sounding places. She raised an eyebrow at him for his question of who is was she spoke to. At first thinking she should lower her wing and show him the ferret on her back, but for some reason she did not want to show him Ghost. Something about this stallion rubbed her the wrong way. "I was speaking to my brother. Who did you think I was speaking to?" She turned with him keeping her frail but opaque wings between the stallion's line of sight and her familiar.
Ghost's head almost jerked up at the oily sound of a stallion's voice. He'd never really tied the word oily to a voice before but if it should be tied to a vocal description, his would be it. His soft white coat shivered slightly. He was calling his sister unique, beautiful and it was not something Ghost liked. He had spent most of his short life keeping males away and had failed when Svanbjorn had gotten his hooks into her. He would not fail again. When the stallion asked who she was talking to Ghost almost pipped up that he was who she was speaking to, but Blight moved and seemed to be willing him to keep quiet. So keep quiet he did. 'I hope you know what you are doing Blight...' The white ferret thought desperately.
BikiCakes She tends to be wary around strangers after Svanbjorn, who was the father of her only group of little ones. This coldness is new to her and the facade will likely crack under the right pressure. Just an fyi. Lol.

"I guess you could say that. They seem hurt." His words were very blunt. It was not that he had never stumbled across sorrow before, but the people he knew were a lot better at faking happiness, or at least cocky satisfaction. Her eyes seemed void, dark and to be quite truthful, miserable. He could tell she was being difficult, and that was fine by him, she could play the game how she wanted but if she thought she was the first to be challenging then she would be wrong.
All her actions were doing was fuelling his suspicion.
"Not many have, but everyone is looking for their Wonderland - Then again, some people are running away from it. And some live and die without ever finding it, those are the ones who we truly need to pity." He looked to the side, reflecting on his home. A false Wonderland, a place that had cursed him, battered him and spat him out.
Everyone loves an outsider.
He huffed. However her answer soon snapped him out of his resentment. He needed to focus on the now, Elliot could be here, he must not let his guard down! He tilted his head and chuckled - a slow, low evil cackle. The glimmer to his eyes becoming somewhat sharper.
"Your brother? Hmm." He hummed, his voice mocking.
"I see. Anyone would think you were up to no good. You are being terribly suspicious." He raised an eyebrow, she was lurking in the woods, this broken looking, fragile mare. What was she hiding? He was curious, more curious than anxious - I guess a small part of him did not really believe this girl was a spy, but if that was the case... then what was she doing?
"Where is your brother?"

Her eyebrows raised as he spoke of the hurt he saw in her eyes. 'Damn.... I thought I'd hidden it better!' Her scolding thoughts were interrupted when he spoke of this Wonderland as being a place that people willing searched out. She blinked balefully at him, wondering what such a place would be like. Maybe it was a place that someone broken like her could get lost and never be found. Her eyes returned to him as his voice became mocking and then sinister. He was questioning her honor now. Suspicious indeed! But she was being suspicious. It was well past dark, the moon full and swollen above them its pale milky light lending the world a surreal effect. The woods were sparse but still dark and sinister looking, branches hung with moss. She shivered when his words got an edge to them. 'Where is your brother...' She should just show him Ghost but if she did he'd think her mad for calling a ferret brother. Ghost was her only family and she feared anything happening to him. She was alone, now that her son was gone. The ferret was her only family. "You'd think me mad if I told you who or rather what he is..." She hadn't meant the words to slip out but there they were, out in the open. She waited for him to round upon her, judging her, asking more questions. What could she say!? She had no one but Ghost.
