Sort Me! ▌Kevin Kaspar Kevin stood, staring straight ahead as he waited to be sorted. The uniform was stiff and scratchy. Too new. The uniform, the salute, all of it felt new and wrong and strange, but it was too late to back out. Henrik said they would find friends in the military. And they would be together, not forced off their land to fend for themselves doing the walls-knew-what. Daring a peek over at his brother, Kevin crossed his fingers behind his back that they would be sorted into the same dorm. He was confident that he would make friends wherever he went, but he didn't know how the training camp worked. Would he be able to take classes with Henrik if they went to separate dorms? Probably, but it was still a worry.

Sort Me! ▌Henrik Kaspar This was never where he thought he'd be. He knew that Kevin worried for him. There was a sort of guilt that clogged his thoughts; Henrik sometimes thought about how he'd have given anything to trade places with his parents. He sometimes wondered if it had been Berlitz who had had the fires started. He sometimes wondered if Alec would even want to see him here. It was a mess, but it had led to here, and now there was nothing left to do but accept that this was his life now, and there were people here he hoped would welcome both him and Kevin, and -- Thoughts banished, Henrik lifted his chin, clenched his teeth, and waited for his name to be called.

Sort Me! ▌Cecil Alma Well there you had it, he made it this far. Some of it he thought he could really do with out. But here he was, standing in line, fist clenched in a salute head turned towards someone other than where it was supposed to. He was watching the other recruits as they were called out and sorted. He hadn't memorized many of the names, but he was curious as to who went where. Really this was a mistake on his end. As it came closer to his door he straightened up and faced forward as though he hadn't done anything. He was right proud to be here, this was what he wanted and what he was going to do for the rest of his life. He looked on forward with his dual colored eyes though he was still burning with curiosity as to who else was being chosen to go where. Maybe a peek wouldn't hurt.

After what seemed like months of awkward silence, but could only have been moments, Lenore gave a quiet wave to the other members of her dorm. "I'm going to go get unpacked. I guess I'll see you all around." With that, she turned and headed for the Falke dorm.

Sort Me! ▌Finnia Martens Finny fidgeted restlessly as the shiny headed man before them spoke. He wasn't very nice, that was for sure, but Finny was absolutely positutely sure the other trainer's wouldn't all be like him so she tried not to worry so much. Casting a few glances around at her fellow trainees, she tried to get a gauge on what kind of people would probably make good friends. She may be willing to befriend anyone, but she definitely was not up for surrounding herself with jerks for the next three years. A girl needed some friendly friends to survive after all... Lost in her thoughts about the future Finny failed to notice her name being called by the shiny bald man, and it wasn't until the second call that she managed to stumble together a salute... Only problem was, her left hand was in front of her chest instead of her right. "Yes sir! Here sir!" she squeaked cheeks turning red faintly, to match the hue in her hair.

Sort Me! ▌ Saoirse Claes Saoirse had not been expecting the welcoming ceremony to be so harsh. Santos was definitely a scary man and she made note to avoid getting on his bad side. The trainee held her salute proudly through out the lecture despite the harsh words. It was just something the cadet would have to get used to. She wasn't sure which of the divisions she would join but she knew Santos was right in saying that they wouldn't be the same person when they left, three years was a long time, a lot could happen between now and then. She was nervous and excited at the same time thinking about the training. "Sir!" She called out hearing her name being called.

Dorm: FalkeRin stood at salute with the rest of the new recruits. She was a fair bit older than most of them, which she supposed was to be expected - she was joining much later than usual, after all. "Rin Shepard! You think you're some kinda special snowflake?" Rin didn't know what he was talking about, but before she could question it, he had moved on. "Get your a** to Falke!"

Announcing my dorm! ▌Lysa Graves
Dorm: Luchse It didn't take long for Lysa to feel a sweat bead out on her brow. The harsh rays of the sun made wearing the jacket of her uniform uncomfortably warm. She shifted in her stance, but held fast to her salute, more out of fear for being called out than anything else. This opening speech did little to assuage the nerves that clenched in her gut. Had she made the right decision by coming here? Lysa had asked herself that so many times over the last few hours that it had become a mantra. And every time she knew the answer. Even if she wasn't strong, she was smart, and the only one who could solve her personal problems was her.
So she stood as tall as she could, with her curled hair bouncing about her shoulders, until her name was called and the life seemed to go out of them. "Sir!"
