User ImageName: Lysa Graves
Nickname: N/A
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi-sexual with a huge preference towards women
Height: 5'7"
Physical description: A natural beauty, Lysa is a slim woman with just enough curves to tempt. She's relatively muscle-less, with growing blisters on her delicate hands thanks to her training. There is a rather large scar on her thigh running from her left hip, across the flesh itself and ending near her knee.
Hair: Strawberry blonde, in a ponytail with bangs swooped to the left. Her hair is naturally curled near the ends, and looks like weaving waves when worn down.
Eye color: Pastel green that can be seen as a lime color when in the right light.
Skin color: Caucasian ; she burns easily, but can never seem to tan.

Likes: Storms, music of all kinds, children, cooking and tending (house chores), working with live stock (while slightly scared of how huge the horses are, she's beginning to adore them)

Dislikes: Being recognized, most (80%) men, being placed on medical assistant duty (she has terrible bedside manner), meat (she could never afford it, and hasn't developed a taste for it), rich people and Nobles (don't even get her started)

Personality:
Suspicious- Because of her history Lysa is reluctant to believe what she is told at face value. She will often times go behind the backs of others to dredge up the information she needs, regardless of the personal feelings of those that told her. Often time she hurts those she loves by not trusting them entirely.

Poisonously sweet- Lysa is a student of rhetoric, and thus is a bullshit artist. Although she never means to cause harm, she will often twist the words of others to make it seem as if her ideas were their own. (i.e. When her husband wasn't sure if they should buy new drapes and she pointed out the benefits to showing wealth to their neighbors by having new curtains on display).

Tender- Although most of the time Lysa tries to keep her emotions locked close to her sleeve, she has a soft spot for women and children. Babies especially. She will go out of her way to protect young ones, despite putting herself in danger.

Man-hater- She can't stand them! To her a man is only a tool to get what she needs in life. They are hairy, smelly, mentally abusive creatures who seek to deceive and beguile the fairer sex into doing their dirty work. She will go out of her way to avoid all contact with men, and obviously prefers the company of women.

Silent as the grave- Lysa will not speak unless spoken to, and even then her speak is clipped. She's witty enough in her retorts to confuse the stupid, and infuriate the intelligent. There have been many times that her a** has been handed to her because of her mouth.

Confidently sexy- Although Lysa thinks of males as an inferior species, she does like their attention. She will not turn away the affections of her fellow females, and in truth they are the only ones who are likely to gain her heart. For men she likes to taunt and tease before kicking them down under boot.

History:

The Wincott family have always withstood the rumors spread about them in Karanese, and their line. It is said that not a single Wincott is a true Wincott, since all of the women of the family have been known to cuckold their husbands. As such Lysa never knew a father in her childhood, and her siblings could not look more different than her. There were three total born to her mother, with Lysa being the middle child. She would never rise to the bar set by her elder brother nor be as sweet as her younger sister. So Lysa dedicated herself to her Grandfather's trade, stepping up to the ranks of her brother with relative ease. Her fine eye for detail infuriated Chapman, but as the family needed all the funds it could get he did not shun her.

As the years passed and Lysa grew she soon followed in the family "trade". Her work as an honest carpenter fell to the wayside as her mother guided her into the more prosperous vocation of prostitution. All of her Grandfather's efforts in showing his granddaughter a brighter world were ripped away the instant she stepped into the night wearing home-made rouge. Sure that no one would take her for a wife, Lysa's brother cut ties with his sister, shunned his heritage and moved as far from his "family" as he could. The youngest child, Bethany, stayed with her grandparents as mother and daughter preyed upon ravenous men.

The dark years lasted well into her marriage. When Lysa was seventeen she caught the eye of one of her suitors; a Mr. Gregor Graves. Graves was an older gentlemen, fifteen years her senior, with one marriage already under his belt. His previous wife had passed away some odd years ago due to an unfortunate incident. When he spoke it to Lysa it was as if she had passed in her sleep when really the poor woman was poisoned due to her peaking age. He required a fresh wife, but none from respectable families would touch Graves. The man was a known Merchant, though most of his dealings were under the table. Some said he sold women, children, murdered the innocent; the implications were unclear. The only information that was solid was that the Garrison had a constant eye on him.

Lysa had not accepted the marriage easily. By this point in her life she was used to controlling her own fortune, and dismissing the riff-raff that circled her. It was her Grandfather that had talked her into it. Had it not been for the pleading nature in his eyes she would not have accepted it. He begged her to settle, even if this man was no innocent, and make an honest, good woman of herself. Due to his interference she agreed to marry and become Lysa Graves.

It had begun as most marriages do; empty promises of eternal devotion, trinkets for no apparent reason, and happy chirping late into the evening. Gregor had no intention of taming the wild streak in his wife, or so she had thought. In the beginning he allowed her to dress as she pleased, so long as she kept up the house work while he was away. The transition was not an easy one for Lysa. She had not been a houseworker for many years, and would often be reprimanded by her husband on her spotty job. As time progressed her sexual nature dimmed and was replaced by what she had been before, for the most part; a caring woman. Lysa found a love in her repetitive lifestyle. She woke with the sun to tend chickens, fix Gregor his breakfast, clean the linens, etc. Chores brought about a tender side in her that she had not seen for some time, though Gregor's constant reprimands chaffed her. She was never sweet enough to him. Her posture was slouched, her hair was never neat, her shoes always muddy, her dress always wrinkled...It was never enough.

Her "services" had not been stopped, either. Monthly her husband would bring a new man for her to tend, or perhaps send her out for a week. The acts had not bothered her so much as the lack of payment did. She found out rather quickly where her money was going, and that so long as she was with Gregor he would continue to own her.

When she became pregnant at eighteen Gregor was furious. He, too, believed the hype about Wincott women, despite his hand in her promiscuity. Lysa, however, was ecstatic. Her neighbors taught her how to knit baby clothing, and soon enough, with the scraps of wood she had managed to gather together, she had created a beautiful crib for her unborn infant. Despite her husband's coldness, Lysa found a love in her upcoming motherhood. She had never shared Gregor's affections, so his actions never bothered her. It was only when she gave birth that he became a true threat to her. Lysa delivered her daughter on a stormy night. Gregor had cooed and said sweet words, but as soon as she had drifted off a man had come in to steal the child away. When she woke he tried to sell her on the idea that her child had been stillborn, but she knew. Weeks passed with Lysa in a depressive comatose state. Lysa ached for her child. She didn't believe Gregor's words, and when he became physical with her to snap her out she hit him with a pan of hot water.

In his dazed state she ran. With nothing more than slippers and her night gown, she ran. Lysa snatched his horse from it's post, kicked it into action and took off for as long as it would guide her. Eventually she made her way to a grouping of people who took her in. An elderly man suggest that by joining the military she might be able to travel the region, and may one day find her daughter again.

So it was at that moment that Lysa decided to enlist. She would find her daughter, no matter how many years it took, and start a new life with her. At the very least she could train to make a safe world for the child she may never know.

Quirks
- Lysa loves to dance. Absolutely adores it.
- She's a heavy sleeper. As soon as she feels safe she can fall asleep almost anywhere.
- In most situations Lysa will sleep in the nude.
- Secretly she really wants a piercing. Any piercing. She views it as a selfish waste of resources to craft precious metal into a trinket, but that doesn't make her dreams any less desirable.

Relationships

Ewan Wincott (Grandfather) - Although she has not seen him in many years, Lysa remembers her grandfather kindly. He tried his best to look out for their shoddy family, and always treated her mother as if she were a doll instead of a strumpet. She remembered his thick, dark mustache that would cover his mouth until he opened it for a hearty laugh. As he was aging when she left to marry her husband she can only hope that he is alive and well.

Chapman Wincott (Older brother) - A large, burly, dark skinned man with a perpetual scowl. The only thing physically that the siblings have in common are their eyes. Since he is only two years older than Lysa their relationship was very competitive in their younger years and filled with sibling squabbles. When she moved to prostitution with their mother, Lysa's brother cut ties with the family. He was tired of having his family name drug through the mud, and after numerous attempts to correct the bad behaviors of the female members, he left. Lysa hasn't seen him since.

Bethany Wincott (Younger sister) - The youngest of the three, and an absolute peach. She is the only to inherit their mothers blonde tresses and freckled complexion. Much like her grandfather, she hasn't spoken with her younger sister in a long time, but hopes that with military connections she will be able to write to her. Lysa remembers Bethany's pies, and prowess in the kitchen, despite her tender age, and wishes to try some of her food once again.

Caroline Wincott (Mother) - Deceased now due to disease that was most likely sexually transmitted. Before leaving her husband, Gregor managed to let Lysa in on this news. She doesn't particularly care that her mother has passed on, since the woman was the reason she was led astray and was more of a shady business partner than a role model.

Gregor Graves (estranged Husband) - Although still legally married to him, Lysa hopes that she will be consumed by a Titan before seeing him again. Or vice versa. She holds nothing, but contempt for this man. He is the sole reason why she ran to the open arms of the military to begin with (as both an escape and a way to find the daughter he sold). Gregor is of an average height, with a gut thanks to his growing wealth, and hard hazel eyes. She remembers most strongly that he smelled of peppermint alcohol when he would return from successful business trips. There are only two things she is grateful to him for; allowing her to pretend, no matter how finite, that she could be a happy housewife and for never physically abusing her.
