Maybe it wasn't even the right lever. Eidhis stared long and hard at the machine again. She took a few circles around it before making confused expressions towards the contraption. It really didn't make any sense to her.

Zel nearly shouted as the glider finally touched down with a shuddering thud on the island. Hopping out, he made his way over to the totems, looking at the symbols that made no sense to him. But still, they were blessings, so he had to pick one. It was only right to do.
Reaching out, his fingers wrapped around a symbol and he felt a rush of warmth fill him.
He blinked and realized he was back on the cliffs at the start. But he had proven his worth.

The water fell away and soon there were the falls. Lovely falls. She had become so distracted by their beauty that the gust of wind that tilted her glider caught her off guard. Ganximei squeaked but managed to stabilize it one more.

[1/3 posts, 220 - 9 = 211] He was leaping through the sky! Everything was lovely and loud and - and - were those voices? Why wasn't the glider going toward the cliff? Wasn't there any way to - there was a flash of a little wheely thing, but he saw none on it. Hm...
He slid around on the seat uneasily and the glider wobbled with him - but there was a lovely thin voice and it talked and it talked and it talked and there was nothing Sarviur liked better, he thought, than the sound of a voice. (Here was happiness, and peace, and...piety? Well, regardless...)
Of course he knew how to pilot this thing. He set its course straight and waited on.

She flew above the deep canyons on the glider. She turned to look around her and the glider followed. She decided to stay perfectly still and just feared of falling too far down. Her eyes rolled down a little and saw that it was indeed beautiful even if it was a bit scary. She continued on her way, clenching the glider for dear life.

Eidhis held onto the glider tighter. She entered a wall of fog. Fear instantly fell into her little blue heart. The voice of a glider pilot filled her head. It was mostly screaming and self-doubt. She tried to ignore it, but was filled with fear as she shifted side to side a little bit as she tried to navigate through the fog.
