He took another drink and gave a gulp. "So what are you doing here Malphas?"

"Me? Oh, you mean the tavern or the kingdom? This tavern serves everyone regardless of sides. I'm just here to enjoy myself."
He downed another shot, shaking his head as it burnt his throat.

Malphas couldn't help but grin as he looked around the establishment.
"I've been coming here since I was a fledgling. Best drinks in the kingdom and likely anywhere. I'm not about to have Nyx ruin my fun."
He gave a hearty laugh.
"What about you? What brings you here? I know that something has been on your mind. That is usually the reason for one drinking."

Malphas gave Koji a knowing look.
"Troubles with love. Not a pleasant thing, but one that has driven many a man to seek comforts in alcohol."
The front doors burst open as Luferius entered the tavern, rapier drawn. His sharp eyes scanned the room until they spotted Ryn. He gave a cold glare to the man. "Odd place to run, don't you think?"

Faith scanned the area, seeing that the queen wasn't around she slipped upstairs. Damien saw her leave and nodded. He would stay with Luciferius and distract Ryn.
Faith saw the queen sitting on the bed, "Ari...I'm glad you're alright. Did you get the answers you needed? Luciferius and Damien are asking you back though. I feel bad for you. What are you going to do? Everything would be alright if Luciferius and Ryn got along. Don't worry Damien and I feel your pain."

Without warning, Ryn wisped upstairs, his hands resting on the hilts of his blades. Dark Energy crackled over his left arm as Light Energy crackled over his right, as his left eye shifted to a Gold color.  "I'm not going to let Luferius get his hands on Ari.. Sorry, but if you're on Luferius' side, you're my enemy.." ======= Meahwhile...Downstairs, Portals began to rip open on every inch of the walls of the downstairs, the roaring of the weaponry ready to shoot forth.

"I'm not. I just wanted to see if she's okay. I was the one that freed her from her room and got her back to find you. Keep her safe okay? I don't trust Luferius myself." Faith turned to him.

Malphas blinked and looked around at the spectacle.
"What the-?"
Baring his fangs, Luferius made a quick dash for the upstairs landing. Entering into the room, he trained the blade on Ryn clenching his teeth in pure disgust. "Come now, vile demon. Are you going to continue running even now?" His voice took on a dark undertone as he looked at those in the room. Seeing Ari, he gave a slight bow. "Forgive our late arrival, my queen. You need not worry anymore. We shall deal swiftly with this matter and return you to the castle shortly."

Smirking, Ryn snapped his fingers as the hundreds of thousands of blades shot from the walls, all narrowly dodging all patrons but Malphas. Without any time wasted, he grabbed Faith and Ari, and enveloped them in a barrier.
In their mind, they could hear Ryn's voice.
There's a Cathedral right on the Boundaries of this Realm. It's a Safe Haven for all Realms. No one can harm you. With Luferius this way, he's going to start killing everything. When you're ready, concentrate and the barrier will take you there.
Turning his gaze to Luferius, he laughed at the wretched sight before him.
"Running? No. I'm not running. I've already completed what I needed to. With every step you take, you wreak of the scent of Darkness given to you by none other than Nyx. I may also have that power.."
An Aura flooded around his body as the feeling of a pure killing intent filled the area.
"But, I also have other powers I can rely on as well. How does it feel to know you're no longer the Captain, but the lowest member on Nyx's Food Chain?" he said, unsheathing his blades.

Faith nodded, but she thought of Dark who was still at the castle. Seeing there was nothing she could do she concentrated on the barrier and let it take Ari and her off where Ryn had said it would. Before leaving though she sent her own thoughts.
My fiance, Dark, how will he know where to find me? Please...if you ever come across him, tell him I am okay and please allow him to find me.
Damien ran upstair to see Faith had gone along with the queen, "Damn...she really did keep her promise to come here as friend." Inside though, Damien sighed in relief that the queen was away from Luferius. "Though...I don't know how we're going to explain this to her fiance."

"No!" He reached out for the barrier as it faded from his grasp. Clenching his fist tightly, he turned once more to Ryn. A low threatening growl rumbled through Luferius as Ryn's words seeped into his mind. His urge to kill Ryn could not be any greater as his eyes narrowed to cold slits. "I take orders from no one but my queen. You and your precious Nyx be damned!" His voice was a venomous hiss as he readied his blade against Ryn. "You will pay for your crimes, Kuromaru, and I will be the one with the pleasure of killing you!"

"Well now, time for me to go," Liallia said, tossing a few pieces of gold onto the bar and easily moving towards the door, becoming half night. She disappeared at the door way with a final shudder and a shaking of her head.
