Lily moved forward looking around looking around at the forest. It was odd how nice it was and how clear the path was, but of course she was indoors. Lily smiled at the scent that floated throughout the room reminding her a freshly laundered clothes. It was a very strange smell for a forest to have, but pleasant was fine with her.
Birds were chirping and wind was blowing, but it quieted down and Lily looked around quickly. She did not get a good feeling from the sudden hush in the sounds. Her pace quickened slight until ... wait ... was that someone else she heard.
She stopped listening intently for a moment before decided that yes there was definitely someone else somewhere in the room. "Peyton," she shouted, "Ladon ... Calintha ... Alessa."
She hoped it was one or maybe even all of the four and took off running straight shouting each of their names hoping to find one of them. She thought not of possibly running into someone else.

((Y'know what I love? When posts don't post. D< *strangles web browser*)) Alessa is now armed with the Mace. [X] [ ] [ ]Calintha is now armed with the Sword. [?] [?] [?] Ladon is now armed with the Axe. [?] [?] [?] Liliana is now armed with the #1 Fan Foam Finger. [X] [ ] [ ] Peyton is now armed with the Baseball Bat. [?] [?] [?] ??? - Peyton ?????? ( here until further notice) The Dark Chasm - Calintha, Ladon The curtain, once folded up, was quite bulky. When folded, it was roughly the size of a rolled-up sleeping bag, except there wasn't a handy slip-case to keep it rolled up. Speaking of which, the curtain slips out of your grasp and onto the ground where it unfolds just enough to warrant unfolding it completely and re-folding it. With part of the curtain gone (there is a mighty impressive tear above you), it is easier to see. However, after several minutes of carefully peering and shuffling in the darkness in search of your favorite foamy weapons, you fail to find either of them. You do, however, find an odd cylinder. It looks like a flashlight, but how do you turn it on? Push the button.Twist the cap.Shake it.Leave it and continue on.It's... a room? You run into the next room and stop in the middle of it, looking around. It doesn't appear as if anyone else is here... A slow spin around reveals this fact to be true. You can see a room to the left and straight ahead, but before you can take action something hits you from behind! The weight of the assault is enough to bring you flat onto the ground. Or is it the ground? You're pinned against the floor, but you don't recall falling far enough to actually hit the ground. Either way, the pressure is starting to build. You need to get out of here! You're trapped! You need to push against whatever is holding you down and try to escape that way. You manage to twist your head far enough to look behind you. You're not being held down by another person -- it's as if the room itself is trying to eat you! Roll a 10-sided dice THREE times, once per post. These rolls represent your attempts to "push" against the floor and free yourself. If you forget to roll, leave the post there -- do NOT delete your post.

The curtain was incredibly bulky and annoying. Calintha debated just leaving it, but with the way things were around this place she had a large suspicion that it would come in handy. And if not? Well, then she would just wait a while before deciding to leave it. The girl was picking it up off of the ground yet again, when she felt something underneath the fabric. Sliding the curtain off, she felt around in the darkness for whatever it was, and ended up with a strange cylinder in her hands. "I...think I found something? It looks kinda like a flashlight." Calintha ran her hands over the object, looking for some other indicator on what it was. She found a button and pushed it, seeing if that would have any effect. "I'm not sure though." She shrugged in the darkness out of habit, even though it was likely that Ladon couldn't see.

Lily frowned stopping in the middle of the next room, 'where was the voice I heard?' She huffed realizing that maybe she had gone the wrong way, but no she could see another room and wondered if maybe she should continue on.
She was about to take a step forward when, Wham and Thump, she found herself, on the floor? Lily groaned, how had she gotten onto the floor, she hadn't even fallen that far had she. Lily wiggled slightly before realizing she was stuck ... and ow it was starting to get rather having.
Turning her head she could me, eeepp ... the room was going to swallow her up. Lily heart skipped a beat before beginning to pound quickly in her chest. She HAD to get free.
Wriggling about she tried to find a good position in which to push up from the floor and tried to push up from the floor.

Was it moving? Oh Lily didn't know and she was so panic all she could do was keep wriggling about in an attempt to push up from the ground. She had to get free!
Her thoughts were running a muck. 'Why did I come to this place? Surely they wouldn't really try to hurt me! This is not fun! This not fun!
Lily tried to push harder.

Lily wriggled about unwilling to admit defeat. She planted her hands as firmly as her could on the ground and gave once last heave. She hoped that if the room swallowed her up that at least she would find herself and another room. She refused to believe that she could be truly hurt. It was a fun house, right? She'd won a contest, this was just a game. Though right now she was reminded more of nightmarish horror movies and not fun carnival fun houses.

They weren’t going to find their weapons with the curtain covering everything, so hands locked, they set about folding it, and to their annoyance, refolding it to get it out of the way. While Ladon was looking for any sign of their weapons, failing to see any dim light from the little LED bulbs, Calintha seemed to have found something else. At the mention of a flashlight, he looked up. “Great. We can find our weapons with that.” Looking in the dark was hurting his eyes, making it hard to notice if his eyes were closed or not, and he slowly moved over to Calintha and waited for the flashlight to turn on. Guessing she was having some trouble, he reached out to feel for the flashlight, his fingers brushing past her fingers before feeling the cold metal. “How about shaking it?” Getting a hold of the metal cylinder, he shook the flashlight to get it started. Maybe the batteries just needs a little shake or it was one of those self-generating ones you had to shake to power up. Either way, he just really wanted some light right about now.

[X] [ ] [ ] Peyton is now armed with the Baseball Bat. [?] [?] [?] ??? - Peyton ?????? ( here until further notice) Oh! Wow! Thing! - Calintha, Ladon You push the button. Nothing happens. You shake it. Something rattles, but still nothing happens. You shake it while holding the button down. Nothing happens. With a snort of disgust, you throw the flashlight down onto the ground. It bounces back up, flickers once, twice -- it's on! You use it to look around, but you can't see your weapons. About this time the curtain falls out of your grip again. You fold it back up and discover your weapons! Only... there's something different about them. Calintha is now armed with the Sword. [X] [X] [X] Ladon is now armed with the Axe. [X] [X] [X] Oh. Oh dear. Aside from all the lights being on, there doesn't seem to be any sound... maybe you're not out of the game yet? You stand there, unsure of yourself. Is the intercom supposed to say 'Hey you're out!' or... what exactly happens? After a minute of nothing, you decide to head towards the light. It's easy to toss your weapons and curtains onto the ledge, and with the aid of the flashlight you see a small ladder. Climbing up, you can see section of the wall leads to a corridor. You collect your things, and head down it. At the end of the corridor, you see a lift much like the one Calintha was on that delivered her to this floor. This lift, however, is big enough for both of you. You climb on, for lack of any other direction to go. ...Looks like it's going to be a wait until it gets to the top. Intermission time!I've got a Foamy #1 Finger! FEAR ME, ROOM! - Liliana Total of 3-19: ??? Total of 20-30: Success! Meanwhile within the odd, hungry room, you lift with your shoulders and press your palms against the floor. Thankfully the foam finger doesn't get in your way -- just thinking about being pressed down against one of the weapons with plastic supports is enough to make you wince! You heave, ho, wiggle and push, straining against the floor. Suddenly, it releases you! You tumble forward and out of there, resting in the corridor you were just in, gasping for air. Slowly, you sit up and stare. The room... it looked like nothing change. Was it a dream? Whatever the case was, you do not want to go back in and try it out! You pick yourself up and head the other way. Continue...Three Kn- Hey, isn't one of them the Ticket Taker at the beginning?! - Liliana As you go the other way, you soon come upon a table. Seated around the table are three people dressed in simple tunics and hats that reminds you of the Middle Ages. Except one of them that is -- you recall him as the disinterested ticket-taker, who was currently looking very sheepish and trying to hide behind his playing cards. "Well! What is this?" Asks the one with the blue hat, folding his cards to look at you up and down. "It appears we have a guest, or rather a contestant." "She came in here earlier actually." "No she didn't." "Yes she did." "Didn't she walk past us earlier?" "I didn't see anything." "...Did you, perchance, peek at my cards?" " Comrades," The man in the orange hat interrupts, folding his cards. By the way the other medieval-clothed man suddenly jerks upright, you wonder if something's wrong with him. "If you please. Now," he turns to you, "You can ask us one question." "I wouldn't listen to him!" The man with the blue hat says, gesturing to the orange-hatted companion, "He always lies!" "No, I don't! I tell the truth!" "No you don't!" "Actually, you both are rather --" " Not in front of the guest if you please." "If you insist." "I'll have you know --" The three get into a rather heated argument. Well? Ask the blue-cap which way the exit is.Ask the orange-cap which way the exit is.Ask the ticket-taker which way the exit is.Ask a completely different question. Be sure to include who you are direction the question to!Third Floor, Maze Labyrinth. Thank you for Zipping down Tanglewood Ziplines. - Calintha, Ladon After that delightful ride, you step out of the elevator to the third floor. As the elevator was rising, the light gradually increased to your delight. The rooms are well-lit and clean, complete with a fresh, crisp scent. It looks like someone put a genuine effort into making it look like a forest! Sadly, this is a rather seemingly uninhabited forest as there's no indicators as to which way to go. You think you can hear someone arguing, though. Go straight.Go right. You have both the flashlight and the curtain. You may use either object on anything, should you desire.

Calintha was relieved when the flashlight flickered into life. She was a little more aggravated when the curtain fell, YET AGAIN. Grrr... why had she even thought to bring this thing? Though, for all that it was severely annoying, the curtain also seemed to have a bit of Merry Poppins magic. Before when the curtain had dropped, it had led them to the flashlight. This time when it had dropped, it revealed their weapons! The blonde was ecstatic-
"Oh." There was considerably more light coming from the area... and she could now see why. Both of their foam weapons had all three lights lit. "I wonder if that means that we lost?" She sounded sad. Calintha didn't particularly like losing, particularly for something she didn't have any control over! "Well...I guess there's nothing to do but find a way out of here."
The girl forged ahead, the area now lit by the LED lights on their weapons, as well as the flashlight. There was a lift towards the end, much like the one that had brought her down to the basement. "This is the same kind of lift that took me down to the basement." The girl stepped on and waited for Ladon to do the same before reaching out for the string which had set them moving last time. Her hand grabbed it in the dim light, and they were whisked upwards.
It felt good to be out of the dark. She had to blink a few times to get used to the light and cheery linen!rain forest. "Who scents a forest like fresh laundry? But anyways, this is certainly better than the basement!" The zipline had been fun, losing Ladon and falling down and THIS DAMN SHEET had not been. She paused to gather up the slippery devil once again. There was someone arguing somewhere, but the place made it difficult to pinpoint where.
"Why don't we go right?" She turned to the dark haired boy next to her before leading the way. Even artificial light felt very, very nice.

With weapons, flashlight, and a curtain, they broke their grip and decided to use what light they decided to keep moving. Ladon was just as concerned about the 3 lights as Calintha was, but at this point, he guessed he was just happy to be alive. Still, he HAD wanted to win, and he looked at the 3 lights on his weapon with a ‘aw, no fair’ frown.
What made his face drop more was seeing a lift, and he stepped back again, looking around. With his experience with the zipline still fresh in his mind, he wasn’t quick to warm up to the basket, but Calintha was there assuring him that if anyone was going to fall, they would be falling together. Since that was at least true, he slowly eased into the basket and held the rope that lifted it up, making sure to hold on tight.
The ride was uneventful, much to his relief, and they stepped off onto solid ground and beautiful light. Not natural, but who cared at this point? At least he could see even if he had to blink a few times to get his vision back. While the forest was much more realistic than he predicted, not that he would have guessed there was a forest around in this building, the smell was not really natural. It reminded him of dryer sheets, which wasn’t a bad thing. He often did chores at home, and he felt warmed at the smell. Everything up here was better, aside from the arguing, but even he couldn’t feel too pessimistic with this much light.
“Yeah, right seems good.” He said, turning to follow his basket buddy to the right and hopefully not into any trapdoors, cutouts, or more things suspended up in midair. He had enough jolts to his stomach for one day. “You think we’re almost to the end? I would think this would have a time limit.” Like after so many hours, someone would announce the game was over and show them to the exits. He could do with some REAL light.

Lily was extremely relieved when she released herself, for a few seconds she thought for sure she would be crush. She looked behind her and decided that was definitely not the right direction for her to proceed, not wanting to be crush and all. No, she turned and headed back in the direction she'd come.
Lily was very exasperated when she came upon the table, realizing that she must have run right past it. This was confirmed by one of the men at the table. Looking over them, she realized one of them was the ticket taker and she turned to him ignoring the small fuss between the other too.
She was about to ask him where the exit was, but he was dragged into the argument and it appeared as though she would have to wait. Lily quickly grew impatient tapping her right foot and drumming her fingers on her hip. It was so rude of the men to make her wait like this. She frowned deeply before clearing her voice rather loudly.
"Excuse," she said looking at the ticket taker, "but could you please spare a moment to tell me where the exit is. I was nearly eaten by a room and I'd like nothing more than to find the others and get out of this place."

Can I follow you home? – Liliana As the argument progresses in volume, the ticket-taker tries to shrink into his seat and hide behind his cards. He peeks out from behind one to look at his poker-buddies, as if trying to decide how distracted they are with themselves to notice him. “See, I got this job first therefore I should be the truth-teller!” “Ha! If I recall correctly I was first, therefore I'm the truth-teller!” “No you ain't!” “Yes I am!” “I'm wearing the truth-cap!” “No you aren't!” “How do you know?” “I switched them!” “You bloody--!” The two individuals are too engrossed in the argument, and the ticket-taker throws an embarrassed glance in your direction. “WHAAAT?” He asks. You repeat yourself. “OH. Um. I think if you go back and take a right, the exit's that way!” He replies. Then he goes back to staring at his companions glumly, wondering when they'll finish arguing. Take his advice.Try the exit to your right.Try the exit to your left.Skirt around the table to the exit behind them, on the other side of the room. What's that Sou- oh. Oh crap. Calinta, Ladon A couple steps after you leave the basket-elevator of sorts, you can hear a ”Beep! Beep! Beep! similar to an alarm clock, but not as loud. It was still annoying, though. But like an alarm clock, the source of the sound was easy to pinpoint: your weapons. As you stare, the LED lights flicker on and off in unison with each tiny “ beep.” Much to Ladon's despair, they walk right into a trap. It's a nice trap, though, as nothing is swinging out to hit them. Instead, the room is covered with vines that seem to be stapled to the walls and floors at weird angles. You think you can squeeze through... Go through the vines. Roll a 10-sided dice.Go back and try going straight.OPTIONAL: You have both the flashlight and the curtain. The beeping was eerie. It was strange at first, not knowing where it came from. But after she figured out that the beeps were coming from the foam weapons, and were in sync with the lights on the sad, Calintha got a little sadder. "Well...damn. I hope that doesn't mean anything too bad." But really, when were beeping sounds good? The things that beeped had the word 'alarm' in them usually, and that tended to mean bad things.
The next room was interesting. They'd left the linen!rain forest only to walk into Tarzan's jungle gym. "They don't look too close together. I bet we could get through." She kept a tight grip on the sheet, making sure it wouldn't fall as the girl attempted to squeeze through all the vines. The first few were relatively easy, but from there it just seemed to get more dense. It was kind've fun though, just like the rest of this strange adventure.

Nothing SEEMED bad, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that something would jump out to give him a heart attack at any moment, and he held the weapons more tightly. What really bothered him wast he beeping, which continued to say that something was wrong. What that was, he did not know, and it seemed to be just as annoying and nerve-racking as the beeps were.
The next room didn't show any signs of being dangerous, but he wasn't about to let his guard down. At any moment, the walls could give way or the ceiling could fall down. Nothing was for certain, and he could only hope the next room was better. Better as in barren, bright, and possibly with a very nice 'EXIT' in red. That or a nice 'Finish' would be even better!
For now, he had to play with vines and was glad he was both short and skinny. Squeezing through small places was what he was practiced in, having spent plenty of time pushing through pressing crowds. "Yeah, I think you're right." He went with the way of caution to not say that it LOOKED easy enough at the risk of jinxing the entire thing. Instead, he kept his eyes open and followed Calintha.

[X] [ ] [ ]Peyton is now armed with the Baseball Bat. [?] [?] [?] ??? - Peyton ?????? ( here until further notice) It's an Adventurrrrre! - Calintha, Ladon The vines are quite a hassle to push through. What looked like a simple route turned out to be more troublesome than it was worth! Whoever built this room went a little too crazy with the vines. More than once both of you became tangled, requiring back-tracking in order to find another way around. Eventually you make it out, however in the process you realize a couple things: 1) You dropped the curtain. 2) You dropped the flashlight. 3) Your weapons are still with you, but they still seem to beep beep beep in an annoying alarm-clock fashion. But you're out! Yay! Go StraightGo RightTry the vines again.??? - Liliana The argument between the two individuals is unbearable! You leave quickly, following the ticket-taker's directions. Let's see, so turn around, make a right... Was this the right way? Or were you supposed to make a left? You study the room you're in. This doesn't look like an exit to you. You turn to leave, but before you can move something knocks you to the ground! You realize with a jolt that you're in the same trap as before! That ticket-taker lied to you! You struggle against the weight, pushing with all your might. Is it moving? It's hard to tell. Something grabs your arm! You gasp in surprise and try to pull back. You feel very sleepy... ... You don't know what time it is when you wake up again. Or even where you are. You sit up slowly and rub your eyes. You're in some sort of room that has... a couch? No, a couple couches. "Oi!" Your head whips around at the sound. There's a woman wearing a pair of glasses, hands on her hips and looking at you sourly. "You're up. C'mon, let's go thissss way." You try to sleepily protest, but the woman is firm. You find yourself escorted out of there, and somehow wind up in a taxi cab which takes you home. You are stuck with the bill, and it is only after you're back safe in your room do you realize that you've tracked dirt inside the house. ARRRGH! Oh, well. The dirt's not going anywhere. Why not take a nap...? Game Over -- Thank You for playing!
