Kyarorain I really think that's Terrell, not Garet, but it could be Isaac there... Yeah, now that I look again, you're right. Durn similar-looking characters having similar-looking poses! Glad I'm pretty apathetic about shippings in general. Unless they pick completely pants-on-head-retarded pairings, I won't care.

It doesn't matter to me either who are paired together, there are other pairing possibilities but eh, game play/storyline is enough to satisfy ones opinion on the characters.

Azura Cantarella Ooh, glad I'm not the only one. I don't see why pairings set in canon have to ruin everything. *shrugs* Because it's more fun to watch the arguements over who is who's kid. Nothing's funnier than seeing entire threads over the matter devolve into "LYN IS ROY'S MOTHER BECAUSE I SAY SO" "NO, NINIAN IS" "NO U", and so on. Which is why I still have a screenshot of a most unfortunate juxtaposition of thread title and username--"Who is Roy's mother??? Marcus".

Fear not, everyone! I come bearing pictures and screenshots! First up is new pics of the main characters:

As far as parentage of the characters is concerned, all I can really guess at is the fathers.
Matthew is Isaac's son. (That should be obvious)
Karis appears to be Ivan's daughter.
Terrell appears to be Garet's son.
(I'm sure that Mia is either the mother of Karis or Terrell, I'm not sure which one though. But seriously, I can't think of who else Ivan could've had a green-haired child with.)

You know, I'm starting to really think that's Garet in that second-to-last pic. The coloring of the clothes sure is different. Also, he seems as tall as Isaac (if that really is him) while in the other screenshot, Terrell would roughly be closer in height to Matthew.
Hey, maybe both Isaac and Garet really are temporary party members in the beginning. surprised
New Megaera looks sweet. Guess that's one thing I was right about, that certain summons would have updated looks... razz

Hmm, if you compare the two in these screenshots, they do look different. I thought it might be the lighting, but Terrell has a belt and the one in the screenshot with Isaac doesn't, so I guess he is Garet after all. Man, how confusing... anyway, that's awesome. ^^

There's a glimpse of what seems to be a new Jupiter-oriented healing Psynergy...not actually executed, but listed: Fresh Breeze and Healthy Wind.
Terrell demonstrates Djinni use---he has Torch and Fever.
I'm keeping my eyes peeled on that channel, hopefully he puts up an Adventure Mode (where puzzles take place and all) gameplay video. whee

If you look at the battle lineup, it's kind of difficult to tell, but it looks to me like he does have a belt there, it's just partially hidden by the bend in his leg. And the color differences can all be explained by the lighting, as I see it.
