Well, that hadn't gone so well. Maybe it had... no it almost certainly had been a mistake to try and go on a date with one of his best friends. He liked her, he liked her a lot, but when he'd tried to take her out, they had the chemistry of silly putty.
"Am I just getting a little desperate?"
He hadn't thought he was missing anything by not dating, but that didn't jive with the whole idea of asking Bell out, which, now that he disected it, kind of felt like he were trying to backward-adopt her and her little sister.
"...Oh my God I'm a looser."
He pressed his face into his palms and groaned.
He liked Bell. He liked doing plays with her. He liked hanging out with her, but that didn't mean they had to be dating and he knew that.
"What the hell am I even doing?"
Maybe he should go for a walk or something, he needed to get out of this stupid apartment before he lost his mind.
He hit save and closed the laptop, pinching the bridge of his nose and glancing out the window. Normally he would have jumped to call Bell before thinking about going out at night, but while he didn't think it counted as avoiding her, he needed a little space to clear his head and think. Besides he was an Eternal Senshi, he had enough power to take care of himself, even if he was a little rusty. Maybe he could check out some of the new blood running around. Maybe he could blow up a car for old times sake... haha.
