If he could say nothing else for his brush with the past, it was that he'd certainly found more reasons to power up since then, although in part it was to search the city trying to find that power signature and try and monitor the Senshi of Hail, to see of he was just as unpredictable and vicious with others, or if he had just gotten special treatment that had left him prying himself off the concrete half conscious and concussed when Castor had stormed off.
He hasn't found him so far, but the power signature he'd felt crop up on the near by street, and made a beeline for it. His face was partially healed, and so was his throat, but the bruising was still visible, even if his voice only had a hint of a rasp to it as he made an traditionally impulsive move, charging toward the signature with a yell:
"NOBLE CLAWS OF THE... ********. s**t. NOPE! OW."
Wrong Eternal.
While Castor might also wear something that passed for a skirt, the resemblance ended somewhere about there, and devolved into an embarrassed string of cusses as his unfinished attack scorched his fingers before the incompletely cast magic dissipated.
"OW. ********. damnit! Sorry! I thought you were... fuuuuck Castor..."
...Which in and of itself probably didn't sound too awesome, since he'd just nearly thrown fire at the young woman, but maybe he could make something up, when he finished blushing from his toes to the roots of his hair.
Holy crap he hadn't felt this stupid since he'd been first handed his henshin pen.
"I can explain."
"Mostly."
"... Mostly. Kind of."

Plenty of bed-rest and a week of time, and Iris was anxious to go out on a patrol again.
Of course, if she wasn't patrolling with Psyche, that meant she actually had to wait for a bit for a teammate to arrive. Parthenope was the one she was waiting for, but the energy rushing towards her was not that of a Super Senshi.
"...um... th'f*ck?!"" That sounded like a magic attack, but then it ended in piles of cursing.
With her arms crossed, she turned to face the offending senshi. One thing seemed to catch her attention with his rushed cursing and apologies.
"...Castor? That's a name I haven't heard in a f*ckin' long time?" Her voice did not sound very pleased at the mention of the name, but it probably had something to do with the fact she generally didn't like the jerk.

"Well... neither had I..." Regulus admitted. He'd been... well he'd been glad to have the last of him in his life, or he thought it had been the last...
Castor's return smarted like his blistered fingers as he shook his hand and grimaced.
"You know him? He's back."
He added. He didn't know her off hand, but it sounded like Castor had met her, and made an impression. Maybe he shouldn't be surprised. Castor tended to make an impression on ladies. In his experience it involved a lot of groping. Or underwear stealing.
"...He uh..." He gestured vaguely, indicating the bruises on his face and throat. Should he explain? he wasn't sure if she were actually unimpressed with Castor or with him.
"...Yeah He's back. Help me out here are you mad at me or him? I mean I'm really sorry about trying to... I mean... no offense but he's a d**k and he'd totally have it coming if I set his butt on fire... I mean you'd have the right to be mad at me..."

The blonde's body barely shifted as she seemed to glare intensely at the other eternal as he stammered through his explanations.
When he asked for clarification for her mood, her mouth twisted a bit to the side.
"...both in all honesty! Annoyed at ya fer tryin' t'fire me up... and him fer bein' a f*ckin' jackass as always." She rolled her eyes as she blew up her bangs a bit.
In a much quieter grumble, she commented "Can't be bothered t'take some of the burden off'a others..."

Regulus fired her a suspicious look at the word 'Burden', his thoughts not so much drifting to 'royal' as Castor's talk of war.
"Yeah, sorry about the attack, but please PLEASE tell me you haven't bought into his whole 'I'm gonna make war on earth' shtick, because holy crap..."
He gingerly touched the bruises on the side of his face with his scorched fingers and winced again.
"...I am pretty convinced that if he wasn't deeply in need of help before he left, he sure as hell is now. I mean at least before all I had to worry about was why it was somehow ok for him to be rooting around in my then girlfriend's underwear drawer while we tried to have a meeting."
He still wasn't sure why she was ok with that. He'd have thrown something at the b*****d, but Europa had been surprisingly tolerant of the invasion of her most personal garments. Maybe they'd been more involved than he'd ever known about...
...why the hell was he even thinking about that when they'd been broken up for years? Maybe it was the whole Angus fiasco. Yeah that was probably it.

Her arms never uncrossed as this senshi spoke up about Castor's deal. Her tone was absolutely serious as she asked a question.
"Why th'f*ck would I make war with th'place I was born during this era?"
Iridians had never been the war-mongers, so perhaps that explained Iris' stance. However, one needed to have some sort of logic when looking at the differences between now and the Silver Millennium. The main difference was that all senshi, whether they liked to admit it or not, were Earthlings. Declaring war on your home was idiotic at best.
"Castor's always been a f*ckin' pig... but are ya tellin' me he's a giant moron t'go with all that?"

"You know, if I had the answer to that, the whole thing would have been a lot more comforting, and less..." He let the implications hang, figuring that Iris was smart enough to fill in the blanks.
"He's been gone for years, and he has the balls to pop back up and start bitching that we haven't done anything. Him, the guy who's been living... I don't know where, but it's all on us that we didn't tie up all the ends while he was off... I have no idea. Stealing girls underpants or s**t. I don't even know if it's just straight up pig."
He gestured at the healing injuries on his face and neck as he added.
"I mean ok, I was pissed at his attitude, so I kinda hinted that maybe his girlfriend ditched off again because he couldn't keep it in his pants..."
He was pretty sure he'd said something to that extent anyway, he'd been so angry he barely remembered. "I mean if he'd just punched me I'd get it, but he tried to strangle me and started beating my head on the concrete. And he went Royal stage first. Like you have to concentrate to do that, so he wasn't just mad, he was like, full on trying to make it clear he could have killed me."
"I mean I get it, I was mad, I said stupid mean s**t, but I never tried to kill anyone for talking about my ex..."
It would have been easy to just say 'he's crazy', but he'd had time to wonder, time to debate the fact that had Castor been fully out of control, 'really' out of control and not just implying that he couldn't control himself... like one of those pro athletes you heard about who tried to claim they beat someone up because they were 'trained to be violent', but waited until they were alone before they did it... it was that kind of 'crazy'.

The Senshi of Rainbows eyes briefly seemed to flicker of a heat found in fluttering flames as the other senshi continued to explain. Several aspects of it were things she could have observed on her own. His lack of presence, and thus his lack of assisting with the war efforts. However, it was the mention of a girlfriend that got Iris to speak up again.
"...romance and love for a single person will compromise the position of a leader in the most critical times..."
It did not seem to come out of nowhere, considering the mention of Castor's girlfriend. However, it might not have been nearly as relevant to the conversation as it could have been.
With a cough to clear her throat, things seemed to return to the actual conversation at hand.
"That f*cker knows nothing about what has happened in the war. Castor's had th'f*ckin' tools t'fight against Chaos' warped hold on their agents... and instead decided t'ditch th'city and let someone else pick up his f*ckin' slack?!"
There was a loud groan and a shake of her head.
"We might not be 'winnin' th'war... but we have made monumental strides fer counterin' the Negaverse... declarin' war on Earth itself ain't the solution."

"I didn't think so either. " He agreed. "I mean...personally I've been less active than I could, but fire magic tends to go hand in hand with property damage. And then there was a fun round once where someone elses magic turned mine into fire balls the size of a... Car."
This might have been a stretch, but they'd been pretty big.
"We're not winning, but we're not loosing, I think?" Or is even that fair to say? I mean... if we were loosing, would they have to try so very hard to make us look bad? He's not gonna help though, He's so not. I kinda half expect to see him on the evening news with a crazed look on his face as terrified sorority girls flee before his gropey hands."
It was still hard to imagine Castor as a prince. It was hard to imagine him as this... dangerous thing he'd given a glimpse of too. It was so much easier to remember him as an obnoxious joke.

If anything, that seemed to be the sore point sticking to the yellow suited senshi.
Without even looking to the senshi talking to her, she nodded her head and then replied without even shifting her gaze ahead of her to meet his eyes.
"If they were winnin'... their ranks would not come to me with the desperation they have, seekin' a way out..."

Maybe he was just pessimistic, but the last time he'd heard stories about someone changing sides, they'd gone back. It was a bit depressing really. "But either way... It doesn't make me feel too comfortable counting Castor as an ally. I mean... he's order, but I kinda want to strap a big glowing sign to someone and have them follow him around going "He's not with us." You know?"

A half chuckle escaped the yellow suited senshi. "...there are more than a half dozen senshi I'd like t'disown like that in all honesty... but it ain't happenin'..." She sighed a bit before finally returning her gaze to the other senshi.
"Anyways... I appreciate that... um... warnin' I guess 'bout Castor bein' 'round now... but I got a teammate on his way and he'll probably be 'ere any moment..." Her voice drifted off slightly, as if leaving her momentary attacker to fill in the gap.

"I'll let you be then." it was a pretty clear dismissal and he had already made a fool out of himself, so better to retreat before he found out of "I'm expecting a team mate" also meant "And I will have them clobber you for nearly burning me."
"Good luck with that. Keep an eye out for the ********."
