"I don't know..." Elistral said in slight confusion, peering up at it. "It appears to be a...ball...of some sort? What is it's purpose, do you suppose?" She fidgeting with her three rings on her fingers, thinking hard.
"No idea." Fenrir said absentmindedly, taking another picture of Demios out of some spite, and because of the angle. Then he put it into his pocket after activating standby mode. "Just don't put near any heat." He chuckled, watching Demios move it away warily from the flames consuming the town. "Oh! I've got something for you! Just remembered." He snapped his fingers and dug into his other coat pocket, looking for something. "Now where'd I put it? Always losing things..." He decided to check his hat and pulled out a scroll tied with a silver blue ribbon. "Here ya go! Looks like there's a little uprising in your kingdom, Demios." He tossed it up to him.
Crow felt an annoyed twitch tug at his face when he noticed that most of the food stores in one room were depleted. The culprit was a bloated frog-like looking demon. Zrag wasn't always the subtle type, and this held true here. He kicked Zrag in the ribs a couple times, only drawing a snort from the atrocious thing.

"What?" Demios caught it with his tail and unfurled the scroll and read. "I can't believe this! My own people have taken a town." Demios sighed. "I am sorry Elistral but I must be gone. My people need me right now. Fenrir if you don't mind would you possibly escort Elistral back to her own town. Oh, and take that metal ball with you. Jake should know what it is. Until we meet again." Demios flapped his wings and took off extinguishing most the flames as he did so. Then he was on his way to the mountains where his capital lie.
By now everyone was asleep in Reapers camp and the rain had died down.

((...Say, wanna do a slight timeskip to the next morning?))
"My pleasure, O' Great Dragon!" Fenrir waved at Demios, then lowered his hand to his side. He watched as he became a tiny speck in the lightening clouds, then tossed the metal ball over to Elistral. "You should probably hang onto it. I might lose that next." Then he waved a hand in front of his nose. "Besides, that sulfur has an acrid smell, I think it was starting to burn my nose hairs off..."
Elistral caught the metal ball with the burnt fuse with two hands, holding it a little uncomfortably. "Right then, how do you suggest taking me back to Salim, Fenrir?"
"Well, there's two ways..." Fenrir said, thinking and nodding to himself. "There's still a horse alive in the guard's stables, about, oh, not too far from here. Or, we could take the quicker way. Which one? Your call."
"I'd much rather prefer the faster way than the slower one." Elistral replied, tucking the metal ball into her belt so she wouldn't have to hold it.
Fenrir shrugged to himself. "I know how you feel. This town didn't stand a chance, and the best move would be to start planning ahead of time. Plus, between you and me, the smell's starting to get to me." He patted his slightly grumbling stomach, drawing an odd look and an eyebrow raised in suspicion from Elistral in the process. "Oh, no. It's not what you think. It's a little tough to explain."
Elistral stared at him for a moment longer, before turning her attention the the fewer flames that were still licking at the town. She used to wind to blow them out and not scatter the embers into the air, leaving the buildings soot covered and solemn. "I think we've wasted enough time with chatting..."
Fenrir gave a dejected sigh and ran a hand through his black hair, putting his hat back on after. "Well, there goes my attempt at a decent conversation."
Crow felt his temper grow and he stomped hard on Zrag's face, waking him abruptly. "How do you explain this, then?" He growled, referring to the previous times that the store rooms had been emptied. The frog-like demon worked his jaw like he was trying to say something, attempting to stand up but failing. Crow had had enough of the useless thing, summoning his rapier and slashing downwards in sudden anger. The frog-like demon's stomach split open easily, though Crow soon wished he hadn't, as a putrid smell rose up. He stalked out of the store room, leaving the screaming Zrag to try and hold his open gut closed, when two golden haired human looking men rounded the corner. "'Though we smelled something interesting..." One of the two remarked with a wink, indicating Zrag. Crow gave a hopeless sigh and gestured with a hand. "Go ahead. Just, don't leave a mess this time." The two men smiled hungrily and pushed past him, one closing the door shut politely. Crow sighed again, remembering how a small number of the Gezrudo, all golden-orange haired, had been sent to join the Ravagers by their leader's agreement. They were notorious for being carrion eaters.

((Kay, rofl.))
Fenrir nodded, smiling and saying, "Alright, this'll only take a second."
When the sun rose up over Salim, Elistral realized that since Fenrir had taken her by the arm and teleported them to the town hours ago, she hadn't fallen asleep. After facing the sleeping town, she turned back to see he'd disappeared. She rested her head between her hands, staring down at the metal ball she'd set on the library table again. It was fairly heavy, made out of possibly iron or so. She rubbed her gloved hands over her face, thinking.
Gorash was, oddly and possibly customarily, the first one to wake up. Even though George's spell was powerful, his body and mind had been subjugated to magic for years. It was nothing really new to him. Standing up slowly, he felt his body aching dully from where he'd slept in his armor. He yawned a little and rubbed the sleep out of eyes, feeling refreshed from the "nap". Then he went off a tiny way from the camp, finding a place to take off his armor and stretch.

((I return!))
Jake came running towards Elistral. "Hey where have you been?" Jake sniffed and his face ruffeled. "Why do you have black power all over you?" Then he saw the metal ball. "Oh my lord. Is that what I think it is?" Jake took it from Elistral and turned it in his hand. "This is clearly a black powder bomb...but i've never seen one so sophisticated before." He turned it over again. "Come on let's find a safe place to crack this thing open I wanna look inside this thing."
Reaper awoke before the others and walked out of his tent. "Okay everyone get up. It's time to plan our next move. Come on, get up you bums." Reaper kicked at Oni waking him up with a start. "Come on get the others up." Reaper walked off to finish putting his clothing on.
"Ugh, fine." Oni got up and kicked the other two up. "Come on. We got work to do." George and Marie groaned and got up.
"So then what is our next move going to be then?" Marie was still a bit irritated from being so rudely awoken.
"Salim. We are going to be attacking Salim." Reaper walked out with his duster coat on. "Me and Oni shall go and gather more troops while you and George go to Salim and scout their gaurd shifts and entrances. Oh, and try not to get caught. Gorash, as always you shall be coming with me and Oni as protection." Reaper looked as the others stared at him. "What?"
"Salim? You can't be serious. It is the most hevily fortified city in the west. No army has breached it's gates since Strider stopped my army almost 100 years ago." Marie had gone from irritated to shocked. The loss was still fresh in her mind.
"We breachedthose walls when Mal was leading us." Reaper thought they would react like this.
"That time they didn't have Strider in the immediate vicinity. We also had Mal on our side. Not to mention they had no idea we were coming. it was more a stroke of luck then a tactical advantage." Oni didn't like the idea of having to take on Strider so soon in the fight.
"How do we know he's there now? He retired remember? He no longer has to worry about the cares of mortals. Now I know we may not have Mal but that is why we shall be a bit more cautious then all the other times. We'll send George to find locations to plant bombs and Marie to report on gaurd changes and shifts and how steep the resistance may be. So what do ya say? Let's finish this." Reaper eyed each one of them. "Who's with me?"
"What choice do we have. This world won't accept us after what we've done. We're evil by nature not by choice. Why hesitate when we know deep in our hearts that this is what we want? I'm in." Geaorge went and stood by Reaper.
"Well despite better judgement, what can I say, I love watching people die. I'm in." Oni followed George's lead.
Marie sighed. "We're all going to die. I'm in." Marie walked over towards Reaper.
"What about you Gorash. This time even you have a choice." Reaper smiled at Gorash.

(('Bout time! Jk. I thought you got sucked into an inter-dimensional portal.))
Elistral blinked tiredly and confusedly at Jake, trying to process the questions. He'd asked them all in rapid succession. "Uh...A town. I do not know. And, a bomb, I think." She suppressed a wide yawn with a hand, but failed. "And where would you suggest that would be?"
Rore woke with a loud snort, dawn's light beginning to come through one of the house's windows. Someone had placed a blanket on him and the fire had burned down to embers. He closed his eyes again, enjoying the quiet, then jolted upright when someone knocked on the front door. Striding over to the door quickly, he pulled it open and shushed the person lightly, not wanting Ellen to wake up. It was one of the guards, a younger one to be precise. "Um...I know it's early, but would you mind coming to the barracks with me? I mean...to make sure the weapons are okay...?" Rore rubbed his eyes and nodded, telling him he'd be down in the town soon.
Gorash had just come into the conversation after his morning exercise, hearing most of it but not the beginning. He looked down at his halberd he held in his hands. For protection... To be honest, he didn't even know why Reaper said that. In his eyes, the others were more capable of protecting themselves without him. But he'd said he had a choice. He could just walk away if he wanted to. The light caught on his necklace, the emblem of the kingdom he served, a silver plated dandelion. He shook his head, looking up at Reaper and speaking hollowly. "I serve my king. I've never had a choice."
Crow was less then pleased in what he found of the other storerooms. Over half were barely stocked, and the rest were empty. He frowned to himself, Ezekiel on his shoulder cawing his discontent. "Seems like a run's in order."He mumbled quietly. He gathered a small group of Ravagers, fresh ones that hadn't been out the night before nor in a week. Then they moved off to a far tunnel, one that ran underground to a forlorn village.

"I would say the blacksmith's. Come." Jake walked off towards the blacksmith's.
"Well your king isn't here now. You have a choice. So what say you?" Reaper put his hands in his pockets.

((That sounds awesome. One time I went to Endoran Ak'la. Those elephants have nasty tempers, lemme tell you that. Lol.))
Elistral stood up dutifully and followed the excited Jake. How could he be so chipper this early? That was one thing that she'd have to find out.
Gorash frowned as he considered that. Even then, he wouldn't be able to lead a normal life. Not anymore. Laughter echoed in his head. "I'm in."

((Well there's also Kalos'ne it has hairy fish. Needless to say it was quite creepy))
Jake entered the Blacksmith and asked the blacksmith for some cutting tools. When the man returned and handed them to him Jake beganto cut the top near the string and slowly a hole was made. Inside there was more black powder but in the core was some sort of stone. "Hmm, this is what I thought. This is a very unstable stone." Jake took some pincers and picked it out. "This is called phase rock. If it's introduced to fire then it can cause very catastrophic damage. So now is the time to tell me...where did you find this again?"
"Good then. It's unanomous. Okay then George and Marie you know what you've gotta do. Oni, Gorash, lets go shall we?" Reaper stood next to Oni with Gorash and Oni cast a spell that engulfed them into a black fire and they disappeared in a puff of black smoke.

((Eh, not if you burn it off over a fire. Then they're pretty darn tasty.))
Elistral's temper flared up briefly and she held back a bitter comment. It was just lack of sleep, once the day went on longer, she'd feel better. She did a few calculations in her head before answering. The sea was to the west, the rest of the land to the east, so the town had been..."Actually, Demios found it. It was in a town to the west, we were too late to save them."
Rore trudged over to the bathroom, splashing cold water on his face to wake up. He wondered what exact time he'd fallen asleep at, the night had been too dark to see the clock tower. He took his time shaving, changing into clothes unwrinkled from sleeping in, then belting his familiar sword on. The young guard was still outside, and he hopped up like a puppy when Rore stepped out yawning. "Alright, you lead the way."

((Uh...whoopsie...))
"Nonsense, I am--" This time, Elistral did yawn. "Ah, well maybe you're right. But if I do not wake up before the afternoon, come and get me." She stood and went to where the Protectors were. It wasn't until she actually saw her bed did she feel the full weight of not sleeping. She pulled off her boots and unhooked her sword, propping it against the wall. Then she practically fell onto the bed without bother to change out of her clothes, falling asleep immediately.
Rore plodded heavily behind the younger man, more like a boy actually. His head was still clogged with sleep, causing him to be a little dazed.

Jake went off to find Rore. He thought he'd try his home first.
Reaper, Oni, and Gorash reappeared outside of a large town appearantly in a cave. "Welcome my friends to the city of the dark elfs."
"Hmmm. Fancy." Oni looked over the city from the side of the canyon.

((...Stupid bright colors, attracting me...*Elves, lol))
The pair soon entered the town from the dusty trail leading up the hill of his home. Rore saw Jake hurry by, wide awake. "Mornin' Jake..." He yawned widely, blinking his brown eyes curiously. "You look bright and up today..."
Gorash wondered what Reaper and Oni were seeing. He himself could only see a good few feet in any given direction. Blundering around for a minute, he laid a hand on a rock wall, deducting they were in a cave of some sorts. Heh heh, having trouble? He shook his head, declining any help. Too late, the area around him lit up like it was daylight. "Pretty well made." He remarked rubbing an eye when he glanced over the city.
