After a bit of searching, Aloe finally found what she believed to be the Kidou class area. She had found herself becoming lost a couple times before getting there, since her directional knowledge wasn't top notch. 'I better not be late again.' She thought as she got closer. She was pleasantly surprised that she seemed to be the first one there even after getting lost. Since it seemed the teacher wasn't there yet either, she assumed she had somehow managed to be early by some stroke of luck.
Not seeing anywhere to sit, Aloe took to standing with her hands neatly clasped in front of her as she prepared to wait. She made sure to stand away from the middle of the area though, since it felt like the spot where someone demanding the class's attention would stand, such as the teacher.

Zakuro, having experienced knowledge of where the class was, made his way there with relative ease. He noticed that only one other student was there and that the teacher hadn't even arrived, or made her presence known. Better to be early than to be late I guess. This thought to came his mind as he stood around waiting for someone of a teaching authority to appear. Now we play the waiting game. He thought to himself as he watched Aloe play said 'game.' Zakuro put his hands behind his head as he continued waiting for a teacher.

Trace walked into the kido class. He was wondering how he would do in this class. he saw two other students that had taken theory class with him. He didn't say anything though. He walked to a wall and stood there. He was here to this class early. He never even thought that a possibility. (Edited, Thanks)

Niku stood at one end of the class area outdoors, just behind Mr. Zakuro, having just flash stepped into the area. Her arms were crossed, a look of discontent played across her face. She had been sleeping in the office when the notice came that she would be subbing for the teacher. Her arms fell to her sides, anticipating the Dango students Heck, if Senbei was so interested, how would Dango be?
She cleared her throat and spoke up, making sure she was heard "Good evening. I am Ms. Kaede's assistant and will be instructing in place for her today... the class will start in the next ten minutes, regardless of who's here and who's not. Needless to say I won't tolerate any insubordination in the class and will run it the same way it is run by the normal instructor." she spoke, looking at the few students one by one. She stopped her gaze randomly on Trace and smiled at the class "Not that I would expect it from Dango" Strictly speaking, she didn't think the staff was supposed to show favoritism. She stepped past him and made her path to the center of the clearing.
((As the description and Kaede said, this is in an outdoors area. There aren't any desks))

She cleared her throat and turned to the measly three students in the area "Since only three of you seem to have the competence to arrive on time, we will begin the lesson." she spoke crisply. She paused for a moment to gather her thoughts and began.
"The Demon Arts, or if you prefer it's more common name Kidou, is one of the four very different forms of combat used by Shinigami. she paused for a moment, allowing a small chance for questions 'In order to preform Kidou effectively, one must take control their spiritual energy, shaping it and strengthening it to achieve the desired effect. Failure to do so may result in somewhat... unwanted results" she said. She dearly hoped that there would be no accidents with the class like there was in the last; the last thing she needed was for a student to be injured while the teacher was away.
"Before I go on, does anyone have any questions?"
((I guess she should have asked "Is anyone alive out there?"))

Ryan had managed to find his way on his own, missing Tsubame and finding out that it was to be outside in an open field. Marksmanship...shooting...something like it, this is an army, they're going to have guns. For once, Ryan actually felt excited - he wanted to hold a rifle again, and this made him quicken his pace until he reached a spot that he presumed to be where the class was due to other members of his house and what appeared to be a faculty member standing there. Ryan came in time just to hear the comment about competence, and while he wasn't normally one to speak out against authority...
"Well, then, I guess you'll excuse me for not knowing my way around grounds that I've only been on for a week in a world I've only been in for just as long, then. Or not, since you seem to think that circumstances one has little or no control over make one incompetent," he said as he walked past the person who appeared to be a faculty member. While his voice was still calm and collected with no sort of disrespectful tone, this was Ryan's version of being miffed at a comment that he felt was unwarranted and inaccurate. He hadn't even had the chance to do something in the class and had lived his entire life on a farm with two buildings total, built on flat land that made it literally impossible to get lost, and he had no clue how that made him incompetent.

Niku smiled at the student as he took his place "Since it's your first class here, I'll excuse you getting lost in the simple walk around the building; I fear a few other students have been here just as long and managed to find their way here even before myself. Don't let it happen again please." she spoke, being polite.
"As I said before, Kidou is performed by controlling your spiritual energy to a 'fine point' and molding it to your purposes' she said, repeating what the student missed "If there are no questions, I will now demonstrate" She held her hand at waist level, palm up and concentrated for a moment. With a little shimmer and a drop in temperature a small orb of energy appeared above her palm. the ball stayed unmoving and shone like a small moon, radiating intense cold.
"All you will be learning today is how to find and manipulate the energy within you to achieve your goal. What I would like you to attempt is to look within yourself and find your reiyoku. Gently take hold of it and form a sphere to the likeness of which I have created" she paused for breath "Once you succeed, assuming you do, you will notice yours will not be exactly the same as my own. Don't worry about this; every person has their own unique energy... your energy's personality if you will' She let the ball disappear and looked once over the class.
"You may begin,"

Aloe became enthralled by Niku's explanation of kidou, as well as by the demonstration. It all seemed to cause something to click in her mind. Something that made her want to learn more and try it herself. Like a long forgotten fantasy. She couldn't think what it was about kidou that had her so interested all of a sudden, but either way she listened to every word Niku said. She didn't quite understand all the concepts that were mentioned, but did her best to make sense of them. Looking within yourself was what confused her the most, but only because it could be many things. Like trying to understand yourself, or literally looking in your own head.
Once Niku was done showing the end result of the practice and the orb disappeared, Aloe filled with quiet excitement over getting to try. When Niku said they could begin, she didn't instantly start trying. At first she thought it over in her head how to do it. Her excitement made her want to nail it the first time and actually kept her calm and focused on getting the task right. 'Let's see... hand up?' Aloe copied what Niku had done, holding her hand up with her arm parallel to the floor and her palm facing upwards. 'And now... look inside?' Without any clear instruction on how to do so, Aloe simply closed her eyes. Shutting out the world around her seemed like the best way to focus on searching inside herself. Gradually something came into focus for her, like a guiding light. 'Is that it?' Aloe curiously asked herself as the small light got closer to her. Though, despite her not moving herself, it was more like she was moving closer to it and it was waiting for her. She didn't rush to light, taking all the time she needed. It didn't look like it was going move, and it almost felt like the light was encouraging her on. Eventually Aloe got close enough to feel the light in her hand. The warm feeling was rather welcoming, and Aloe smiled at the light, like a friendly hello to something close to her. She then gently closed her hand around the light.
'And now the next step. Will you show me how?' She asked the light she took hold of in her mind. Following what felt like instinct, or maybe the lights advice, Aloe opened her hand again and let her spiritual energy flow through, into a focused point above her palm. Still with her eyes closed, Aloe created a small orb of energy above her hand. Carefully opening her eyes, trying not to lose any focus, Aloe looked at the orb in wonder, smiling at her success.
((I hope I did that correctly and/or didn't jump the gun. I'll change it if you say I did wrong.))

Kaede approached the half-open kidou training grounds slowly, half-hiden by a veil of mist that dragged itself over the academy. Her steps were silent, spiritual energy supressed as she approached the students and leaned with her back against one of the pillars. Silently as she came, she didn't expect to be noticed; although she knew that her assistant, at least, would easily sense and locate her. But instead of saying anything, she chose to watch the student's progress, and the corners of her lips curled up almost invisibly in something she would consider a content smile, although it didn't differ much of the expressionless mask of her face she bore normally.

Kaede disappeared as silently as she came, a shadow amongst the pillars, scurrying over the seemingly endless schoolgrounds.

Kaede returned to the Kidou training grounds, no longer moving swifly and silently, but rather stomping the ground beneath furiously. She had been annoyed greatly as she had just personally comfirmed the rumours of the missing students that never came to the theory lesson being still in the hand-to-hand training grounds, and was still going through the late events in her head. Absent-mindedly, she walked among the students, and took her place next to the assistant that had been leading this leacture. "Thank you so much, miss Niku." She managed a half-smile and produced a voice that sounded nearly kindly. "It seems you're doing great," she added, finally noticing the students, and watching their progress in the struggle to control their spiritual energy. Spotting the first student to seem to have reached the objective of the lesson, she walked towards her, watching the small insecure orb above her hand. "Excellent, Tsuwamono-san. You seem to have a talent for this. Now, try to manipulate its size. Carefully. Keep the grip gentle."

Yuki rushed to the Kidou training grounds. She hurried over to the back of the group of students, since she felt less noticable there and wouldn't have to be spotted as quickly and possibly embarass herself by doing something wrong. 'Then again, you learn from your mistakes...' She thought, as she took a small step forward in the group so she could get a better view of Aloe trying to conjure some orb of light. Tilting her head to the right a bit, Morino-san looked a bit confused, how was she able to do that so easily? 'I wish I had gotten here earlier...' Yuki pouted as she saw Kaede, the Kidou teacher of the class. As soon as she caught sight of her, Yuki bowed low and apologetically for a period of 5 seconds, showing how much she felt bad for coming to class in an untimely manner.
After standing back up straight, Yuki looked back to Aloe a few meters in front of her, still looking confused.

Ryan's face was still neutral and expressionless, but he couldn't help but feel resentment and jealousy towards Aloe. <******** show-off...but even then she has to be told to try to control the size. They call her prefect but she can't even think for herself. There's no use in complaining...
Ryan took in a breath.
...only in doing.
Ryan let out the breath, and with it went his resentment and jealousy. He pushed his emotions and memories away, focusing on an invisible point in front of him - a target. All he thought about was his target as he brought his hand up, palm under his selected point. He heard his uncle's voice, teaching him and guiding him again. Find a point and look at it. Think only about that point, let everything else out with your breath. That is your target. Focus on it, focus only on it, and you will hit it every time.
Now came the second step. Now, gather your energy at your fingertip. When you pull the trigger, you're not just firing a gun. When you pull that trigger, all of your energy flows through the hammer and into the bullet. All of your concentration, all of your emotion, everything you pull that trigger with will keep your hand steady and push that bullet straight into the point. Gather it all there until you feel the time is right. I cannot tell you - only you will know when to pull the trigger. Just gather it until the time is right...
And that is what Ryan did. All of his unwanted emotions, all of the force he could muster flowed into the palm of his hand and materialized. The shape it formed was odd at first, and it was quite large, but Ryan simply tightened his focus and it formed into an even ball.
Tighter! You'll never hit anything that way!
Tighter it was. The ball became smaller as the energy was compressed, as more of Ryan's unwanted baggage flowed into it and out of his mind. It took effort, effort he hadn't used in decades, but it shrank slowly. Smaller and smaller as Ryan's focus became tighter and tighter, until it was the size of a soccer ball - a child's basketball - a baseball - a ball bearing - and finally to the size of the small marbles Ryan had played with as a child, with Mary--
...Mary Higgins...--focus!
The ball sparked and grew unstable as Ryan lost control of his memories for a moment, but another breath, two, three...still not gone, still not stable...
Bullet. Bullet. Guide the bullet. Target. Bullet.
As Ryan thought this, the ball re-stabilized...only it wasn't in the shape of a ball anymore.
It was, without any error, the size and shape of a .303 round, one not unlike the ones Ryan had chambered countless times in his Lee-Enfield rifle.

Trotting across the expansive field towards the newest class for Kidou Training, Tsubame spotted Kaede. "Please excuse me," she exhaled out, almost breathless from running such a long distance. "Kaede Sensei, I'm so sorry to be late, but I was called away by my family business this morning and only released a few moments ago." Bowing low, while still swallowing down great breaths of air, she hoped that she wouldn't be to harshly reprimanded. Instead, as soon as she stood straight again she swiftly relocated to the back of the line directly next to Ryan. Sighing, she looked closely at his tightly held features, the concentration etching into his face and the tiny glowing oblong source of power floating above his palm.
Control I see, so the creation of a spherical expression of Reiryoku? Oh, now how did that work again? Already flustered by her own tardiness, Tsubame refrained from attempting anything without proper instruction. She already knew her general capacity for this particular exercise, and it was not good. Rather, Tsubame was much better at the very basics of moving the body's spiritual powers into a point of the body for striking an enemy.
