Ashi grabbed one of the pills and put it in his mouth and swallowed. 'This may be very very very complicated but I'll do my very best to succeed' Ashi said streching himself and getting ready for whats soon to come.

The world became... color. All types of colors.... and sounds for Ashi as his mind became "free".

Raka took two of the pills from the medical shinobi as he put on in a small ball of meat and fed it to Odama, while taking the other himself...Raka and Odama then sat down beside one another and began to focus....waiting on the effects of the pills to take hold....

Passing a medical ninja setting several electrodes on Raka's head, it should be noted that both a wolf and another genin (Ashi) were totally out of it, sprawled on the ground.
The Hokage knew about this... but still didn't like having to use children for it. Still, they WHERE the best candidates...
"Family is the most important thing, that I assure you." She said in a cheery voice.
"What you define as family is also important. For example my dear... I was unable to produce children but the student my husband trained was very much my son. He was family dispute our true relationship."
She faltered every couple dozen steps, though only slightly. Could SHE really be a kage?
"So it hurts when family fights family... it's the worst kind of pain."

"When you haven't even seen the family for a very long time, its hard to tell if they're even talking to each other." Chihiro muttered under her breath. Trying to clear her thoughts. Thinking about her past situation would not help in the least. She felt like brooding would bring her down. "What happened to your student?" Chihiro, desperate to get away from the subject of HER family, focused on the 'was' wording of her statement. _____

A far off look came over her for a short spell as they passed into the deep of the forest,
"Sho-kun?"
A maternal smile filled with pride in her "son",
"He's the Tukikage"
The wind blew heavy across the forest path as she directed them down the path towards a port town which had fast ships to Mist.

As Ashi woke up the face of his father was looking back at him. Standing with a concerned look. However, this was not to be as it eventually blurred into the medical ninja from earlier as his vision cleared.
A white sheet laying on the ground under him, splattered with blood around his head. There where various seals on it, covering the cloth under his entire body.
"You ok kid?" He asked concerned for his patience. God... this kid had no idea what he was in for.
Elsewhere another medical ninja was kneeling over Raka, a green glow focused on a surgical hole in his head while he lay on the same sort of sheet.

Ashi woke up to see his fathers face but instead it was the medical ninja from before. 'Ugh, yea I'm ok' said Ashi as he looked at the medical ninja while rubbing his heading noticing the bandage's on him.

"How many fingers..." He asked holding up a spread fingers in front of him. It was a little hard to make out but it was probably 3.

The medical ninja shook his head disaprovingly... why would they WANT someone to never sleep again?
"Just take these if you start to feel feint..." He said producing several small, multi-colored pills.

Ashi tooks the pills from the medical ninja. 'Does these pills have the same effect as the one I took before' Ashi said making sure he knows what to expect.

The medical ninja smiled. "No... not the same effects. We gave you some heavy narcotics to numb you out while we removed a piece of your brain." He explained in a matter-of-fact voice. "Those should just stabilize your brainwaves. You're body will still TRY to sleep, these should trick it into thinking you have." He explained.
Ashi's mother peeked out from behind a tree some distance off before retracting gracefully.
