Ink heard Palo. Of course he did. And it immediately caused him to frown. Before the freak could look away, Ink's middle finger came up in a rude gesture. He glared at Palo until he left then turned his eye to Blue who sat on the opposite side of the room.
He was curious, to say the least. She seemed unnaturally still and silent which of course only made him even more curious.
"Oy," he muttered after a long moment. With a sigh, he sat up and leaned against left side of his chair, elbow resting on the left hand armrest and chin resting in his palm.

((Can we begin the counterattack? I think the Shinigami are worn out enough now that we'll be able to crush them.))

((My Brethren! Let us begin!))

Chara was getting bored of the floor and the quiteness of the room. It seemed like a good as time as any to attack now, but who? Who to pick? That would just have to wait for when he got there.

"I'll be back soon." He said in a flat but clearly excited voice. With one hand he tapped the space below him and sunk down into a Gargantua beneath him, that was much easier than lifting yourself up off the floor.

Chara flung the doors of the room open as he stepped forth into the throne room. A devilish smirk on his face indicating quite clearly to anyone in the room that he was quite pleased with himself.

Along the way it had become apparent he had put the bandages that masked his eyes back on. It helped to keep his other senses in top shape although arguably it lessened his sight.

Turning to Kimiko, Chara gave a salute and then began to speak.

"I've something to report ma'am." Chara didn't wait for Kimiko to respond and kept going. "I've captured one of the Captains of the Gotei Thirteen. I would like to know your orders relating to her. Currently she is being looked after by me." Chara then proceeded to remain silent. Awaiting whatever orders Kimiko might have, hopefully it didn't involve killing her, that would be a total 'buzzkill'

|| She’s not there, but I’ll just pretend she came back ‘cuz she knew you were coming sometime soon. (: ||

Kimiko glanced up slowly at him with a deathly scowl on her face. Although Chara should have received some form or praise for actually doing something in Karakura Town, even though he didn’t kill the captive before, she still was pretty pissed off at her bunch of lame Espada. She gazed at him for a moment, making no move to reply to him. Looking away rather irately, she finally spoke, “The ‘captain’ you brought back is a weak fool. I have no use for her. You do as you wish. Just know this: it is impossible for the shinigami to invade our land unless they can get someone to open a gargantua for them, because they can’t themselves, and I doubt anyone can or would.”

“Now tell me,” she added, now in a lighter mood than before, “how are the other Espada faring? Have they all perished? I would be glad if they did. There is no use for weaklings among our ranks.” She didn’t even go to mention Gaigan’s loyal endurance in fighting; if he couldn’t defeat them or come back alive was all that mattered, not what he did. Palo, on the other hand, was absolutely worthless in her eyes so far. If he came back, perhaps she would give him a beating unless she was out of the mood.

Chara's face curled into a smirk and then slowly his mouth became wide a smile as he began to laugh, possibly at Kimiko although to be honest he had found her whole speech to be quite laughable. Then stopping with a sigh before beginning to speak.

"She might be weak now but she had potential ma'am. She claims to have huge amounts of Reiatsu and although it's untrained, it is what will make her an asset we want. If they can't ever get to her we can train her into a good soldier. I can speak on her behalf for her high levels of Reiatsu as she is able to stop a Gran Rey Cero with a simple reiatsu based technique from what I was able to see."

Then taking a moment to consider his reply to the next statement, Chara tapped his index finger on his lips twice before sucking it then pulling it out as he began to speak once again.

"Ma'am even weaklings can be good in particular situations. We need weaklings as cannon fodder. They're good distractions for other weaklings we need out of our collective hair at the very least."
Chara paced around the room as he spoke. "However to the point. I was not paying attention to the fight but from what little I know I can tell you that I don't believe any of the Arrancar you have sent are dead. Yet. "

Kimiko looked at him again for a moment in a deadly silence. Scoffing softly, she stood up from her throne, her frail figure looking incredibly pale and almost wasted away. She walked over to him, and stopped just as she was about to pass him, her shoulder to his shoulder. A slow grin spread across her face as she looked ahead into the doorway she was about to pass through. “Chara Darosine, you are quite the fellow. But, I will not have a shinigami ever fight on our side. Never trust them, even if their minds have been poisoned. One little sentimental nudge, and their shinigami senses all flow back within seconds,” she said in a soft, pleasant voice. Then she left the room once again, her footsteps fading as she walked down the hall until they disappeared.

"So be it. I shall have to prepare a little surprise for the Shinigami however." Chara whispered quietly to himself, although Kimiko was quite right about the Shinigami being very loyal to their kind Chara believed otherwise.

Taking a small bow to the other Espada, rather mockingly although this wasn't immediately obvious, Chara used his Sonido and left the room, shooting out the doors and back towards the underground where his lair was.

Meri walked deeper into the castle, licking her fingers clean of the Segunda Espada's blood as she walked into the throne room she continued to draw nearer an nearer to the throne as she prepared to speak to God.

Lady Murasaki reappeared within her throne chair with a grim smile on her face as she foresaw yet another strange appearance before her. "There seems to always be little things stirring up that bring me to this goddamn palace," she thought in an amused way. "Who would have though that life still stirs deep within these desolated walls?" She folded her ice cold hands together neatly and waited upon the soon-to-be Segunda Espada's arrival from the shadows cast upon the entrace to the throne room. "Welcome Meri," she said before even setting her eye upon the woman. Her voice rang out loud and cold, matching the blank walls around them and the sturdy stone beneath her feet. "An amazing feat you have done," she continued to speak with no apparent emotion. She finally let her single gray eye fall down. "You have rightly proven yourself."

Meri looked up at the figure and smiled with a twinkle in her eye. 'God' She had always thought that God was a woman, and though she could not see the face yet she was sure of it. "Does that mean I get to see my son again?" She asked with a mix of nervousness and anxiousness. The blood of the segunda still rimmed her face and a combination of both her blood and the former segunda's lined her naked body as she stared up so innocently. "I ... I always thought you were a woman. They all think your some old gray bearded man down there." She let go a nervous "Heh," before stumbling forward a few steps to get a glimpse of the figures face, but it was still covered in shadows from the nose up.

A complexity of thought was shown on her face for a fleeting moment as Meri mentioned her son. “Yes, you can see him. If you know where he his, that is,” she replied with an amused smile on her face, as if she was hiding some unknown secret. She lightly tapped her fingers together and all of the shadows around them seemed to scurry away in a nervous panic, all fleeing to one corner of the spacious room. Now they could clearly see one another. “Exactly who do you think I am?” she asked the Arrancar as she described the conformity of human thoughts. The darkly amused smirk was still evident upon her face. “Clothe yourself, my Meri,” she added, sending a cold glance at a nearby Arrancar servant, who deeply bowed before handing over a bundle of Arrancar uniform to the woman. He returned to the shadowed corner unseen.

Meri's joy faded for a moment before asking, "Son tu Dios o eres el Diablo?" She spoke in the language of the priest who had taught her as a child knowing that God knows all languages. She put on the clothes as they were brought to here, realizing that they would need tailoring later.

((Are you God or are you The Devil.))

Kimiko tilted her head up towards the ceiling and let out a possessed laugh. It echoed throughout the room, but instead of fading away, it seemed to get louder and louder and even more intense by the moment. “A god?” she asked, her wide-open eye now ablaze with a dancing golden flame as she got up off her throne seat and leaned towards Meri. She laughed again, her evil, dark piercing voice filling the room with the presence of her heartless soul again. She could sense the innocence within the woman before her. It smelled like blood, it smelled tasty yet revolting at the same time. She would instantly seek to destroy it. “Tell me, woman, where do you think you are?” she asked loudly in a dignified voice as she stood up, gesturing the chalk walls around them with her arms wide open. “Does this look like a heaven to you?”

Her body faded away and materialized piece by piece again behind her. Her head reached over Meri’s shoulder so that her lips could reach the side of her head where her right ear was. “My dear woman, it hurts me to see how your poor soul has become what it has. Your son is dead, and you would be able to see him, but he is not in my lair. No, you have ended up in the wrong place,” she spoke in a velvety, deceiving voice as she touched Meri’s shoulder with her frozen finger. Once she lifted them off her skin, black marks could be seen where the rested, almost like heavy bruises.

She let go of Meri, reappearing back in her throne chair, her forehead rested upon her hand. She was bent over in an agitated way, her hand casting a shadow upon her face so that none could see the expression on her pale face.
