heart Aphrodite arrived bathed in golden light, with a swirl of glittering bubbles and pink hearts surrounding her. The hearts were not entirely necessary since emotions are actually all in the mind, but she thought they made a nice touch. heart

Artemis smirked. " You can ask me about men but your Aunt Aphrodite is the best person to ask since she has all those children. If you can get her to stop talking about what she thinks is cute. After all she thinks your father and I would make a cute couple." She pulled a face after saying that. The idea didn't appeal to her at all. After all she was the Goddess of wildlife, the hunt, childbirth, and the Moon. She was also a maiden goddess and had no plans to change that.

"Hi Aphrodite. Hi Hephaestus," Alis frowned. "Aunt Artemis wants you to make me a bow so she can teach me hunting. Personally, I couldn't care less about hunting and would rather be at home reading my English textbooks, but Dad also says I have to. So... could you please make a bow my size, maybe out of some cool metal like platinum?"

Hehpaestos looked at Alis with a grimace when she mentioned textbooks, he never cared about grammer being the no time for proper grammer kinda-guy he was, "Huh, ya, I can do that. Ya want anything specific etched in 'em, dollface?"

Artemis frowned slightly. " Please don't Hephaestus. I want her to learn how to use a bow and how to hunt before she gets a special one. Just a regular metal bow will work as she has to learn the basics. Don't even think about asking your father for a fancy bow Alis. I've already said if you like hunting well enough then you can get your own special bow but not before then."

heart Aphrodite surveyed the scene and was curious about the discussion of Alisia's new bow. Well, not that curious. In a few moments Aphrodite was bored again, what with everyone ignoring her. Aphrodite was only interested when the attention was on her. Aphrodite cocked her head to the side, considering for a moment. She then walked over and began flirting with Apollo. heart

heart Aphrodite rolled her eyes then pouted childishly. She then went off to go sulk in front of a mirror. Aphrodite began playing with her appearance. Weasly hair, freckles, dark skin, pink hair, blue hair... heart

Artemis proceeded to ignore Aphrodite. She just watched as her older brother began making Alice a regular metal bow. Not many gods and goddesses crossed Artemis when she got angry or put her foot down. Apollo was one of the few who could actually do it and not fear for his life.

Alis pouted and started sulking again as she watched Hephaestus make the bow. She didn't really want to know how to hunt. All she needed was her good grammar and her Lewis Carroll puns. If she could only slip away and go teach an English class or something like that...alas, not under Aunt Artemis's watchful eye.

Artemis rolled her eyes as she looked at her niece. " This may not be important to you Alis but it's important to both me and Apollo. I"m not asking you to like it. I"m only asking that you learn. If you would quit sulking this will go much easier. You're a bright girl Alis. Brighter than a few of your siblings as well. So if you quit resisting you'll learn a lot quicker and I will leave you alone a lot quicker."
