I was 1st chair Saxophone all my life until last january when i switched to tuba now i'm 2nd chair tuba out of 4

I'm third chair out of 7 flutes.
Which is alright with me because I just started playing last year and I'm in front of four others who have been playing for several years.

I'm a senior.
2nd chair oboe, out of two. I've only been playing a year.
1st chair flute my sophmore year.
1st chair baritone saxophone. Damn right I'm section leader for marching.
1st chair bass in jazz.
And there are only two senior percussionists in my class including me.
Our new band director doesn't do chairs. He's too busy buying us better instruments cuz we had crap.

I am 2nd chair marching band, and 1st chair symphonic chair ( weird huh? ) I started my 8th grade, and I'm in 10th ! biggrin

I'm a freshmen and I'm 4th chair clarinet! Well thats not really a big deall in our band especially our section. The oldest Clarinet player is a Junior but our first chair is a Sophomore. No one can outplay our first chair. Although its fun to see them try to beat her!

In middle school I was always first or second chair.
Then I moved and started high school.
We don't, mind you, have chair placements - but I'm definitely not the best flautist anymore. Since, you know, the flutes, like me, actually attempt to practice more than once a month.

I be first chair Bb clarinet ^_^
there're 2 3rd's 3 2nd's and 2 1st's (i believe)
last year there were only 3 Bb clarinets and i had third chair.
the second chair was a junior and first was a senior
the junior from last year is second again, cuz i'm actually better than her biggrin 3nodding
