With the three assailants left to Rakey-chan, all that was left now was to deal with the last two. It didn't take them long to show themselves though, as they appeared from the darkness, blades glistening with the light from the ruins of the half-destroyed Yokota Air Base. He smirked. "You guys just never learn, do you?" asked Xeion rhetorically and clenched his fists. "You just take and destroy, without leaving anything back. You're all just wretched men -- deserving punishment!"

Before both of them could react, Xeion spun a quick 180-degrees and smoothly slipped behind one of the attackers. Grabbing hold of its arm, he lifted it over him and twisted it while he stepped on the figure's elbow, snapping his arm with a loud, mechanical whir. The second attacker also met this same fate when, having sensed its target move, recalculated its attack pattern and headed toward him. In a flash, Xeion ducked so as to avoid the linear attack, made by his weapon, and flipped him over, landing on top of his comrade.

In one, swift movement, Xeion somersaulted up and crashed down on the two with all his might, his feet crushing the mechanical ribs of his opponent as Xeion looked down on them with a menacing glare. "You tried to take away the smiles of all the people I loved. That kind of transgression...is unforgivable!" shouted Xeion, turning to Yuu-chan with a smile. "Yuu-chan, can you come over here for a bit? Nii-san needs your help!"

Yuu was not really sure what Xeion wanted with her, but she did what she was asked of. She carefully got up on her feet, and dusted herself off. Then she walked on over to her brother and then looked up at him. "What do I have to do Onii-san?"
PostPosted: Wed May 20, 2009 7:11 pm

He smiled at her and pointed down to the two beings that were under him. "Yuu-chan, can you please stab these two? Don't kill them though -- I just want them incapable of destroying the base any more. This would also serve as 'training' for you as a shinigami. Yes, I know it may be sudden, but I have faith in you, Yuu-chan. I have faith in your abilities," Xeion explained, smiling at her. "Now go on, stab them with all your might, Yuu-chan! I know you can do it!" Xeion encouraged, raising his fist up to the heavens as he cheered his little sister on.

Yuu took out her zanpakuto and looked at it for a second or two. Then she looked up at Xeion with a big smile. "Oki dokie, Onii-san!" Yuu shouted, full of innocent glee, as the young girl pulled out her zanpakuto out of it's sheath, and held it in her hands as tight as she could. Right before she started to head for the attackers, she said in a soft murmur so only she can hear, "Posses Them Yurei," with her zanpakuto now starting to glow a strange, white glow. Soon Yuu started to head over the attackers' way, her sword towards them, intending to do what her brother had told her to do, right down to the very last syllable.

When she got to them, she was a bit nervous. This was Yuu's very first real battle. Not exactly a battle, really, but the closest one a 10-year old like her could get at that time. She took a deep breath and then prepared herself for the act, breathing out one, last time and jumped over the first one, and slightly cut his back. She then twirled around, as graceful as an angel, and did the same to the second one. When she stopped and face them, there were now a little blue flame etched on both of their foreheads.

Yuu was amazed at what she just did. She didn't really think she could do it. "Yay!" shouted Yuu, jumping in the air with her hands raised in joy. "Look Onii-san! I did it!" she screamed then turned around to face her two new 'slaves', per se. Yuu's zanpakuto had this ability to 'possess' whatever inanimate object it cuts to do her bidding. It was a unique ability, special only to her zanpakuto, or 'zakipakito, as she liked to refer to it, and wanted to see if it really worked. Therefore, she started to think of a simple command for her new 'dollies'.

Yuu snapped her fingers once she had something in mind. "Please go clean up the mess you made," she commanded, and the two immediately rose from where they were and proceeded to pick up scattered debris all over the place as well as put out fires they themselves had started. It was like they were obedient servants, following Yuu's commands right down to the letter. Yuu found it awesome. "Yay! Onii-san, look!" Yuu smiled, tugging her big brother's sleeve and pointed over to the two. "I made them do what I wanted them to do! Yay!"

((No, I don't actually. I'll read up on him though, don't worry.

Oh, let's reserve the 15th post for Rakey-chan, seeing as it'll be the last before Xeion would end the fight at the climax post -- the 16th.))

((Wait, are these things mechanical?))

Rakey followed Xeion as he lightly pulled her towards him, until her pulled her close, into the standard dancing position. She laughed quietly, looking at him, “What is this? Your giving me salsa lessons?” she joked raising a brow, and then returned her brow to the way it normally was, her face suddenly grew hotter when Xeion brought his face closer to her’s. Listening to what he said to her she shut her eyes, and smiled, “Hai, (Sure)”.

Like any man’s role in a dance, Xeion would lead, and she would follow, being female and all. Her shinigami friend asked you to believe in him, and that’s what she did, followed his lead, trusting him the whole time. Dipping and dodging these mechanical things known as Jackals causing them to hit themselves, and such. Soon, he whispered that it was ‘showtime’ “Eh?” She asked, as she was suddenly lifted from the ground and moved over.

Rakey watched to see what he meant by this, he dodged gracefully, and tossed the thing, with ease. She smiled at this thing coming for her, lifting her leg up quickly, right when her leg had made it straight up, the Jackal had already been thrown, still in air, and was about to pass right in front of her.
“Liberar,” With great force, she threw down her leg, the heel smashing into where the brain stem would be if the thing was human. But it wasn’t. She had her foot enforced with reiatsu and had released it on impact, causing the Jackal to break its mechanical neck.

Rakey looked over thinking Xeion had taken care of the others, but again, he threw it over towards her, after weakening it. She then made a graceful spin in a counter clockwise direction, but with each spin neared the incoming Jackal. Then, a stop was put on her spinning as the Jackal was in kicking range. Just when she was about to do another kick, the thing managed to get itself onto the ground and duck her incoming kick.

In response to this Rakey, put the swinging left foot onto the ground after a full spin. The jackal jumped up to her face, piercers ready to stab her, with both hands it thrusted the piercers towards her face and she took a step back. Barely dodging the second of the two thrusts. Before the Jackal pulled back it’s hands, Rakey snatched the Jackal’s hands, at the same time, she turned her body so her back was towards the Jackal and flipped it. Slamming it into the ground with as much force as she could muster.

This time, she could tell she wasn’t finished yet with her work, this one, the last one, was weakened by a fair amount since it had been punched a few times with reiatsu by Xeion. She grinned at the incoming attacker, and shook her head slightly, since her onyx colored bangs were getting in the way of her eyes. Then she sighed, waiting for what this one would do. As she waited, she moved her feet slowly, in a 1, 2, 3, count, similar to the waltz, but she wasn’t gliding across the floor, she was only stepping side to side.

The Jackal got to his feet much faster than the last two had, it rushed towards her, once it got in front of her, it side stepped and jabbed at her with the piercer, to her right side. She leaned her body to the left, and after the Jackal retracted its arm ready to jab with its other piercer, Rakey used this small interval of time, to push off her left foot, roundhouse kicking the Jackal, and jumped up with her right foot, finishing the spin and kicking it once more. The Jackal, already being in its weak state, lifelessly toppled over and lay on the concrete.

After finishing that, Rakey looked over to Xeion who had his rose out from his mouth, and bowed towards her. Gracefully, she glided back, and in a dancing manner, grabbed his hand and gave him a smile, returning to the original position they were in at the beginning of the dance.

((I don't know. I just didn't want to RP killing humans, or whatever they are. Huhi... crying ))

"That was nice work, Yuu-chan," praised Xeion, patting his little sister's head when he saw Rakey-chan come towards him. He smiled as he approached her with his gentlemanly elegance, catching her body as gently as he could, like the gentle partner that he is, or specifically, how she expected him to be. She trusted him with her body and he, in turn, promised her that he would take care of her no matter what. That was his style. "Nice work, Rakey-chan. Now, let's finish it, shall we? A grand finale; a suitable end to a grand performance, wouldn't you say?"

Xeion's words didn't come too late, as the flames in Yokota, even with the two 'converted' Jackals trying their best to put out the fire, it was all too much. Even though the fire department was on their way, presumably, by the time they get to Yokota, everything would be charred rubble by then. If something doesn't happen soon, Yokota Air Base would go up in flames. Xeion had a plan, however. "Angelus...," he murmured, holding Rakey-chan by her waist with his left hand and raising his right towards the sky, a black and white gun soon appeared out of Xeion's right hand in a brief, but bright flash of heavenly light. He smiled.

"Geist Meister...the manifestation of my will. Thanks to everyone, I know I can do it now. If everyone is with me, I'm sure -- absolutely sure -- that everything will be all right."

Opening his mouth, he chanted the magic words that allow him to draw out the powers of the Angelus and convert his feelings into the "bullet" that goes into the barrel of the gun -- the famed 'bullet that can make miracles happen', Ataraxia. As he did this, he put all of his feelings into the Angelus, praying that his 'wish' would be strong enough that the Angelus would be able to accept it and turn it into a bullet.

"Angelus, I pray to thee. Hear my thoughts, my will, and my heart. All that is me, all that is by me, and all that is left of me -- accept them, I implore. Wishing in the abyssal depths, this lonely soul desires for one thing. Water from the heavens, the skies above, rain down your glory and cleanse this world of the fires that bring sorrow. I ask this of you, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

After Xeion's chant, the Angelus' white glow turned light blue, irradiating the darkness that surrounded them. Seeing this, he smiled. His wish was accepted, and now, the Angelus was ready to grant it. Raising the Angelus, Xeion pulled the trigger and fired off a little, light blue bullet into the sky. Although little and not as grand compared to a Cero or a Hadou, it didn't need to be. Even a wish as small as a mustard seed can make the greatest of miracles happen, only if one believes. That bullet is an example of it -- although small, has the pure wishes of someone held inside it. It's as they say, size doesn't matter.

When the bullet hit the sky, it exploded in a beautiful display of lights. Swiftly, it began to gather all the moisture in the air into the form of a giant, light-blue sphere that grew bigger and bigger with each passing second, but it's taking too long. "It's still not enough," grunted Xeion then looked over to Rakey-chan. "Of course, Rakey-chan!"

Handing over the Angelus to his friend, Xeion smiled at her. "Rakey-chan, I've done all I can, but the 'wish' of one person isn't strong enough to save this base. It needs the 'wish' of a second person. I know you may not have ties to this base and you may not even care what happens to the people here, seeing as they all abandoned you all those years ago, but please, I'm begging you, save this land. With your wish, we can stop the flames."

Xeion took out the blue rose from before and slipped it in between Rakey-chan's hair and left ear, making it look somewhat like a blue rose hairpin. "I believe in you, my woncerful, beautiful, blue rose," he whispered, putting all of his trust into Rakey-chan and her 'wish'. She and Xeion shared the same thoughts of peace, and that it shouldn't be attained through meaningless bloodshed. Both of them also shared the same desire to save lives, regardless of race or belief. Saving others for the sake of saving -- that is what they believed in, and in that sense, Xeion trusted Rakey-chan with all of his heart. Now, it's up to Rakey-chan to do what she sees is right. Everything now rested in Rakey-chan's hands -- Xeion's partner, the Azure Knight's precious blue rose.

((Xeion, hurry it up and finish this, for God's sake. It's taking too long.)) evil

"Un, A grand finale," Rakey agreed to Xeion's first comment towards her. Yokota, burned before their eyes, she could feel the heat on her skin from the flames. A murmur from Xeion caused her to turn her head away from the sight of the mass of flames, to the voice. Xeion held a monochromatic gun, that he referred to as Angelus, it had appeared in his right hand in a quick flash of light, a pure light.

Then, Xeion began to recite a prayer to Angelus. Long it was, but it was meaningful. After he had finished reciting the prayer, the heavenly glow from Angelus, faded out to a light blue. He pulled the trigger on the gun, and out a small bullet, light blue, it was, like the glow it had just seconds earlier. It grew and grew but at a very slow rate.

He said it wasn't enough and that she needed to make a wish as well. Angelus now in her hands, she looked at him, nodded, and said, "My prayer won't be as fancy sounding though,". He then placed the blue rose behind her ear. She held the gun closes to her and whispered a phrase.

"Angelus, I pray to thee. I ask of thee, a simple request. Be the one to fulfill his wish, to protect these people, and cleanse the fire with your tranquil rain. I ask this of you, in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Amen,"

She brought her hand holding Angelus, pointing to the sky, took Xeion's hand. Placing it over her own, it glowed a faint lavender. She shut her eyes and pulled the trigger, as a second bullet was let off to the high reaches of the sky. It then exploded like the first bullet had done, and then slowly accuulated and merged with the small, blue, slowly growing, ball. Thus, causing it to grow faster, and soon, after growing to be very large in size. It disspersed. Had it failed in successfully fulfilling there wishes? Were there wishes not strong enough?

"I'm sorry..." Rakey apologized looking at Xeion, when a drop of rain fell on her nose. A second one fell on his cheek, and then another. Second by second, rain began to fall harder and harder, gradually, it began to put out the wild fires that were spreading on Yokota. She smiled, and handed Angelus back to Xeion. "This is yours,".

((Yes...finally... stare ))

As soon as the flames in the base died down, several KyCorp carrier planes landed on the airstrip. Tech engineers, medics, and alchemists immediately spread to different parts of the base to help those injured and to try and rebuild the ruins of the air base as soon as possible while some retrieved the damaged Jackal units, which caused the entire mess, to be taken back to the labs for re-engineering.

While everything was going on, a random Organization soldier approached Xeion and saluted, giving him the respect he deserved. Seeing that the arrancar beside his superior also helped in some way, he saluted to the arrancar as well before turning back to meet Xeion's face. "Sir, we have orders from Master Ky himself. While repairs are being done to the base, you are temporarily relieved of your duties and are to remain on standby until further notice. That is all."

Saluting again, the man turned around quickly and ran off to help the others fix the ruined Yokota Air Base.

Xeion smiled when he saw the heavens rain down, extinguishing the once powerful, almost unstoppable blaze, thus saving the air base from utter destruction. Turning to Rakey-chan, he smiled at her, taking back the Angelus from her, as it disappeared into spirit particles after he had received it. “Thanks for your help, Rakey-chan. You defied all odds, being an Arrancar, and saved this place. I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done,” said Xeion, letting go of Rakey-chan’s hip and bowing in front of her to express his utmost respect for her. Who would have thought that an Arrancar, something that only knew death and destruction, would actually save a base from being destroyed? Then again, Rakey-chan wasn’t your everyday Arrancar -- she was simply herself. That’s what Xeion held most important.

Hearing that he had a little bit of rest time before he would once again return to active duty, Xeion nodded. He felt satisfied that he would get a little time for himself. Turning up to the dark, raining sky, Xeion closed his eyes as he allowed the rain drops to hit his face and travel down his cheeks. The rain always had a soothing effect for Xeion as the shinigami Vice Captain absolutely loved the rain. Aside from making him happy though, the rain also made Xeion reflect on the past, allowing him to face his insecurities that would otherwise eat away at his soul while he continued showing off his rather cheerful façade to prevent others from worrying about him. For Xeion, the rain was something that could wash away the sadness of one’s heart. It was also one of the only times he can feel comfortable expressing his sadness.

“I’ve…got to go somewhere for a while. Please excuse me…,” muttered Xeion with a melancholic smile on his face as be bowed in front of Rakey-chan and passed by his little sister, Yuu-chan, but not without patting her on the head first for a job well done. When Xeion said that he had somewhere to go, he meant that he was going to that one place in Yokota -- the Yokota Hospital -- where he met that girl from long ago; that girl whom he had vowed to do his best with. With the entire base somewhat in ruins, Xeion needed to make sure that the most important place for him was still fine.

[Scene Song: Friends]

The rain still continued to pour down from the skies as hard as it was a while ago when Xeion reached the hospital. When he saw the scattered pieces of debris near the hospital premises, Xeion worried that the place might be ruined, but fortunately the hospital was still intact and was even busy with dealing with a steady influx of injured base personnel as numerous nurses and doctors on duty scrambled to deal with the injured people as fast as they can, as was their job. Xeion smiled at this as he remembered that the girl he made a promise with was, somewhere in the vast, blue world, she was also doing that kind of thing -- helping people get another second chance at life.

The first thing Xeion went to was the parking lot where he remembered making a promise to that girl from long ago. As fast as he could, Xeion ran from the front entrance until he reached the fifth concrete stopper under the street lamp in the third row. Upon reaching there, Xeion looked up at the sky once more, scanning it for that one thing. He found it, finally -- the lone star, shining brightly in the dark heavens, as if telling him that the person who represented that star was also doing her best, wherever she was. Raising his hand, Xeion pulled out his pinky finger and presented it toward the star. He remembered the promise made on that day.

Closing his eyes, his mind went back to that day when they made that promise and the events that happened afterward. As soon as they did, the girl told him that she was about to leave for a foreign land, somewhere far away from the place. She told him that she would be sad, seeing as she would leave all of her friends behind and how she needed to fit in the new place she was going to. Xeion, at that time, understood what it meant. Leaving behind those friends and facing the world all alone with nothing but your heart and sheer force of will to guide you in whatever decision you need to make. However, Xeion still remembered what she said on that fateful day as he opened his mouth to repeat it for himself.

No matter how far apart we are, we are always connected with our friends. We may not see it, but the red string is always tied around our pinky fingers, connecting our hearts with one another. Even though It’s hard for me to leave my friends behind, I know that I must do my best for them. This is so that when I meet them again, whenever that may be, I can smile at them. Like that star, I will shine, even if I am alone.”

After saying those words, the rain slowly let up, but Xeion still stared at the sky with a warm smile on his face for a few more minutes before he turned around to walk back to the others. As he was walking though, he passed by a rather young nurse who seemed to be rushing to the place where he was a while ago, but Xeion didn’t pay much attention to her to see her face or where she went exactly. To him, she was just a simple nurse, who’s identity he’d never know. Even though he really wanted to see if the nurse that he passed by was his friend, he just walked on. Some things in life are better left unknown until the right time comes. He smiled, however. “Let’s continue doing our best,” he said with a satisfied sigh in the end and continued to walk back to where his friends were.

“Let’s show the world how bright we can shine and give hope to those who stare at us in the heavens.”

((Xeion, if you're still not finished here, I'll allow you to be in two places at the same time. Post at the North Pillar as soon as possible. Deal with the two upstarts there, Ishi and Triox. Make use of the three shinigami there as you see fit. They are expendable, after all, as Tansen mentioned tha they should "defend the pillar, whatever the cost". I'll be sending in some reinforcements as well, maybe a shingami Captain or two, if they're willing. I just want a Raven's presence there, seeing as the other Ravens aren't really strong enough to take on Espada yet, save Masato, myself, and you. I'd go, but I'm too busy negotiating with Kyokugaisha at the moment. Don't tarnish our reputation.))

Rakey watched as Xeion said he needed to go somewhere and parted, she sighed as she kicked her feet, in the rain. Splashing water everywhere. She hummed some various tunes, and waited for Xeion. When she felt Triox, and Ishi's reiatsu in the far distance, considering they were the former Primera and Primera Espada, it was fairly easy to feel them in the distance. The rain began to slow, as it stopped soon after. Xeion, why was he taking so long.

She straightened up and began walking towards Xeion, a nurse ran passed her. Rakey then caught sight of Xeion, letting out a smile Rakey rushed over to him, and yelled "Xeion-kun! What took you so long?" and puffed up her cheeks and pouted. She walked up beside him and bent over to look at his face. "Xeion~" she said still pouting. (( This face '3' ))
