JONATHAN JOHNSON
The shock that Jonathan Johnson was experiencing now was beyond anything that had happened to him so far, maybe more so than the fact that he had acquired super powers. Mr. Glossinger had just confessed to Jon that his family had been wealth all along and the one thing that Jon's dead father had asked him is that no questions would be asked. This was insane though. Now that both of his brothers, Michael and James, were dead, everything in the will now belonged to Jon. He glanced at the picture of the house he had been given once more before exiting the lawyer's office.
We walked down the dangerous streets of downtown Delmor with nothing but what had happened in the past couple of minutes on his mind. He had thought he saw a fire on one of the rooftops, but it vanished so Jon knew it was the trick of the light. Everything was catching up to him. 'I mean for Christ's sake I have a butler living somewhere!' Jon thought to himself. He was filthy rich and hadn't known this fact until 5 minutes ago. How did his father expect him not to question anything.
"You alright there sonny?"
Jon snapped back to reality and realized that he had stumbled into an alleyway in the complete opposite direction of the way he should have been going. He knew he was in trouble the moment he looked around and saw where he was. Facing Jon was a many with more gaps in his mouth than actual teeth. Upon examining the man further, Jon saw that he was built like a tank. 's**t...' Jon thought to himself.
"You mute boy?" the man taunted. "I don't like being ignored."
Jon looked at the man and shrugged, knowing that he should probably at least say something. "I... I am so very sorry. I am not much of a talker. I should probably be on my way."
The man laughed, a gurgling sound ringing in his voice, and then said, "Oh why? Me and my friends love it when we have guests."
"Friends?" Jon questioned. "I don't see any..." but Jon stopped before he could even finish his sentence for two more men suddenly stepped out from behind the original man.
"You were saying?" the original, toothless man said as he started towards Jon.

Previous Joel could not see anything happening. He looked down at the streets, then around to see if anyone was around, it did not appear so at the moment. Still, he had this bad feeling that something was happening. He jumped down, using his wings to land him safely on the ground as he decided to walk the streets and look more closely for some criminals, not realizing how much attention someone dressed like him could draw. Of course, if nothing else, maybe he could coax a mugger out to try and attack him, if nothing else it would be one criminal off the streets.

JONATHAN JOHNSON
Jonathan Johnson knew he was in a rock in a hard place. There was no getting out of this in any way, shape, or form. So much was on his mind and he had walked down the wrong alleyway at the very wrong time. Now he was going to pay for his carelessness. The toothless man was now grinning a horrid smile as his two companions and him drew closer to Jon. Each of them, Jon could now see, were armed with switch blades.
Beads of sweat started pouring down Jon's face. "C-C-C-C-C-C'mon g-g-g-guys..." Now his stutter seemed to be back, but upon clearing his throat he found that it was just his nervousness... of being killed. "Take it easy. I will give you anything you want..."
"Shut up!" the toothless man said. "We know you'll give us what we want cause we are just gonna take it!" The way the man said this was so matter of fact that Jon felt a shiver go through his spine and then all of a sudden the shiver started to turn into a bubbling sensation throughout his entire back. He knew what this feeling was.
"AH! HELP ME!" Jon suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs, but not because he was in danger of the three men with knives, but because his back felt like it was on fire. "HELP ME! ANYBODY!" he screamed again.
All the men with knives laughed and the toothless one spoke up once more. "Nobody is coming boy. You are done." And with that he lifted his hand towards Jon, looking ready for the kill.

Previous Joel heard the screams for help, it seemed he was right, something was going on. He quickly ran towards the source of the screams, grabbing a marble from his pocket, preparing for anything. Most likely, it was just some street thugs cornering some poor civilian, but that still meant he could be up against some dangerous enemies. Still, he had to help. Joel found it to be just about exactly what he figured, some poor man was corned by three different people. It was hard to decide what he would do at this moment, the apparent leader was going to strike, but his two companions were still close to the man, he had to stop the leader, but what about the others? ' Ah, forget it.' He thought as he focused his energy into the marble, creating an object similar to brass knuckles on his right hand. Joel walked up behind the man and tapped him on the shoulder, "Excuse me, sir." He said, he would then wait for the toothless man to turn around, then Joel would hit him with the brass knuckles with enough force it would probably knock him out. It wasn't the smartest idea, but it was the best he could do. Joel was already focusing in case he needed to switch to a different weapon to deal with the other two.

Sentinel was running across the rooftops, winding himself out so badly he had to stop every two minutes to catch his breath. The two bullet wounds still throbbed and pulsated with pain; he even amazed himself at times. All of tonight's activities were soon coming to a close, but the moment that Sentinel thought that he was done, he heard cries to for help about a block away. Are you kidding me? Sentinel asked himself, managing to leap over an alleyway to change course. Could the city just stay saved for once? Sentinel had a life too... and a job. He needed sleep. Dark circles were already forming under his eyes.
Arriving at the scene, he observed from his high perch as he had so many times before that night. A man was about to be mugged by three thugs... and no one else was around. Strange, Sentinel thought to himself. A lot of the time, in group robberies, there was at least one or two back up guys that would intervene in case things got too hot. Maybe these thieves were merely stupid. But suddenly, someone else appeared from the street and punched the center man in the face. It was crazy to take on three guys at once, much less going for the center guy first. This guy was pretty brave or not too intelligent. Hoping it was a little of both, Sentinel crouched down to get ready to leap down. The one guy closest to him was already turning around to see what happened. The brief noise of cloth flapping in the wind was heard before thief number two was slammed to the ground by a large body landing on his shoulders.
The third guy was closest to the other mysterious hero. Sentinel was still rising and realizing that he landed a little two hard when the third and last man figured out what happened.

Previous Joel was happy that another hero had jumped in to help out, that meant he wouldn't have to think of a way to take out two men at once, just one more guy. Joel turned and gave the final thug a vicious glare, only amplified by his red contacts. Joel dismissed the knuckles, then placed his hand over the golden pearl on his chest, suddenly, a red sword appeared in his hand. The thug was not intimidated, probably too stupid to realize that. Then he charged in with a knife. Joel threw the marble he had in his hand and suddenly, it turned into a small barrier that blocked the knife. Joel then swung the sword at his head, knocking him to the ground, possibly not unconscious, but at least down for now. He then looked back at the man who jumped on the other thug, "Thanks for your help." He said in a rather strange monotone.

JONATHAN JOHNSON
Everything had happened so fast that Jonathan Johnson didn't understand exactly what had happened until the three thugs were lying on the ground and two strangely dressed men were addressing each other. 'Supers!' Jon thought. He had always heard about Supers in Delmor, but had never exactly seen one in action. Now he was looking at two live Supers! What a day.
The bubbling sensation in his back had stopped and Jon was very thankful for that. While all of the action had been going on, Jon had fallen on the hard, cold ground. He didn't think he could ever show his gratitude enough to these two heroes. They had saved his life. The man who seemed to have objects converting into different things intrigued Jon the most though. As a scientist, Jon wanted to question him and the other Super, who sort of looked like he had come straight out of a Batman comic book.
Just as Jon was getting up to say his thank-you's though, all of the thugs seemed to get up at once. Was he the only one seeing this? The Supers were now in conversation and the toothless man silently picked up his knife and summoned the two other men up. 'They were faking!' Jon thought. 'The Supers may have gotten those men down, but they faked being hurt more than they really were!'
All three of the thugs suddenly rose their knives and rushed the two Supers. "NO!" Jon screamed and all of a sudden the bubbling sensation burned throughout his back once more and the vacuum cleaner that Jon had hoped was all just a dream slid out of his back. The tube attached to the vacuum cleaner zipped right into Jon's right hand and all of a sudden a gust of air came from it that was so strong, Jon had to grip the vacuum tube with both hands. The gust of air hit all three of the men so quickly, their knives snapped out of their hands and smashed all three of the men into a wall. Jon heard each man's body make sickening noise as they hit the wall. The air stopped coming out of Jon's vacuum tube and fell limp to his right side. The vacuum which was attached to his back was still out and after blinking a couple times at the Supers he said, "Um... I guess this means we are even..."

Previous This time, everything happened so fast, Joel did not know what was going on. First, the thugs were up, now they were pushed against a wall and taken out again. Joel dismissed the sword and picked up the marble that had fallen onto the ground, he then picked it up and put it back in his pocket. Then he looked at Jonathan quizzically, "Well, it would seem that we are." He said in response to Jonathan's statement, "Did they harm you at all?" He asked in his unusual monotone.

Sentinel was surprised when the three bums had gotten up again to attack them. The one he fell on probably had either fractured or broken collar bones. Adrenaline does crazy things to the body. Anyhow, Sentinel was merely going to let them take the first strike and then counter-attack when suddenly they were slammed up against the wall by an unseen gust of wind. Sentinel's cloak flapped around in the gale for quite sometime before it stopped. It seemed to have come from the man who was being attacked. A vacuum cleaner attached to his back? That wasn't there before... did he spawn it somehow? More supers, Sentinel told himself. More and more are popping up everyday. First this guy who can morph objects and next another guy who can grow a vacuum cleaner from his back? I'm going to be pretty obsolete within the next few years at this rate. He wasn't really kidding with himself; Supers were more applicable to fight crime than he was. Sentinel had no powers; just his martial arts and technology that he invented.
He looked the two on them over. The other superhero seemed extremely young; mid to late teens, he would have to say. Short and skinny, Sentinel was his near-opposite in body type; Sentinel was tall with an athletic build due to his extreme training. Why would such a young person want to take to the streets to fight crime? Well, he did have the advantage of having a superpower. The other man seemed to be around Sentinel's age, perhaps older. About as short as the other guy... Sentinel was literally towering over them by nearly five to six inches. Very interesting indeed. Would they be strong allies in the future to come? Possibly.
For now, he merely remained silent where he was; the costumed boy had already asked the question he was going to ask.

JONATHAN JOHNSON
Jon was in a bit of a shock to really answer at the moment. He had just taken out the three thugs without so much as making a fist. The first time his vacuum had appeared he had flew and now Jon saw that this vacuum cleaner could be used to fight as well. What was going on?
A new fear washed over Jon though. The two Supers next to him had seen his face, examined him over! There was a reason their faces were hidden! Under their masks they had faces and those face led normal lives... or at least that's what Jon had guessed. He quickly turned away from the Supers and searched the ground for anything. He found a brown, paper bag and quickly took it up and placed it on his head. He turned back to the Supers and gave a nervous laugh, knowing full well that he looked like an idiot with a vacuum cleaner attached to his back and a brown, paper bag perched on his head.
He was still nervous about the fact that the Supers may have been able to examine him enough to point him out in a crowd if the chance was ever needed, but he needed to try to level with these men so that he could possibly get them on his side and point him in the right direction of his home. Jon quickly poked out two holes in order for him to see something and then finally spoke, "Excuse me gentlemen... I am not hurt, but I am very... confused..." He looked at the Supers and then swallowed. Jon had finally realized something he hadn't wanted to admit and the next thing he said he hadn't meant to say aloud. "I'm a Super too, aren't I?"

<< Previously Anthony arrived shortly after Sentinel and witnessed the fight from the shadows. This city was crawling with supers who were taking out thugs; it was only a matter of time before super-powered criminals showed up. Sentinel needed to be talked to and the sooner it happened the better. Anthony longed to join the fight and make his presence known but the bullet wound was still fresh in his memory and the various bruises and such from that battle were still present. And so he was content to wait. No one could see him as he was invisible and no technology could rat him out either since thermal didn't work on him. He'd mastered several buddhist techniques during his time in the Himalayas but one of the most vital was his ability to mask his thermal pattern by gaining control of his metabolism and the amount of heat he put out. This combined with his light refracting abilities rendered him completely invisible.

Previous Joel looked at Jon with a smirk as he frantically threw a paper bag over his head. He wanted to laugh, but he was far too committed to his whole "angel" persona. This smirk was accompanied by a chuckle as Joel answered the question that Jon had asked, "Unless something else completely strange is going on, it would appear that you are." He said, looking at the strange vacuum cleaner on his back, he had never seen anything quite like that, it was quite the unique super power if nothing else. "Now then," Joel began, "Do you require any further assistance?" He asked, he then looked at Sentinel who had decided to jump into the fight as well, did he do this out of good will or so that he could get their attention or earn an owed favor?

It seemed everything was under control now. Bad guys in a heap on the floor, good guys standing. Seemed like a good outcome. The new appearance of a super was interesting however. A vacuum cleaner? It looked completely ridiculous attached to the man's back! But then again, so was dressing up in dark blue armor and a cloak. He really needed to change to black. Still, it was good to know that more people were taking the fight to the bad guys. They were just the fortunate ones; abilities to help them beat down the baddies. Sentinel had to compensate. Once again he seemed unfortunate and unneeded. Why didn't he have any powers? Doesn't he deserve powers? And what about the other guys here? Did they really need his help at all?
Sighing, Sentinel looked around. Something like this would draw people's attention soon enough. He needed to leave and get home. A busy night, and he needed a long rest. Everything was swimming around in his head; it was almost too much to handle. Closing his eyes and taking a breath, he opened his mouth to speak, but decided against it. Lone wolf. That was his thing. He instead nodded to the two supers and walked off, engaging his cloaking device when he rounded the corner.

Anthony Swore as Sentinel suddenly disappeared completely, "He has invisibility too." He muttered under his breath. He took several steps back muttering to himself as he did so about the questionable action he was about to perform. He uncloaked for just a second to run to the edge of the building where he leapt as far as he could with his arms and one leg out-stretched. Slamming into the opposite buildings wall he groaned as he lifted himself over the edge and rolled onto the roof. The wind had been knocked out of him and his body protested against him rolling over and getting up. Standing once again he turned invisible once more and ran to the edge of the building hoping to catch a glimpse of Sentinel. "Hurmph," He grunted as he looked down at the street below. Tracking Sentinel was starting to become more of an annoyance than anything.

Sentinel disengaged his cloaking when he reached the rooftop of another building. He caught his breath there; he was tiring out. Actually, he was tired out around two hours ago, but the young vigilante had willed himself forward. Now it was time to go home and go to bed. Hopefully his two bullet wounds wouldn't bother him as much as before; he would take Tylenol for that.
