~Saito approached the gate from its right and circled behind it~
~He hopped out of the ground and hide behind it folding his legs and closing his eye's~
~Saito concentrated and tried to hear what was going on~

 ((Yes! I'm finally caught up on the Naruto manga ^_^ And Hinata/Al could be interesting...wonder how Naruto would take it XD)) Ed stepped over to the group, frowning lightly at the fact they still hadn't gotten away from the danger. He nodded at Hinata "Yeah, as soon as it recovers it'll probably attack again.", then stood by his brother. "Why are we just standing around?" Edward kept an eye on the Gate, waiting for the doors to open again, unaware Al had promised they'd both explain. Once everyone was gathered around, Al gave his sibling an apologetic look and shrugged, "They want an explanation." He didn't need to add that they'd been insistent enough about it to make him gather them all in the middle of a potential battle zone. The younger Elric turned to the group, pausing for a second, somehow at a loss as to where to begin. He took a deep breath and organized his thoughts and memories, "You've been fighting The Gate, some call it The Truth. It can grant unlimited knowledge, incredible power, and act as a door between worlds.""But everything comes at a price." Ed interrupted, "To gain something, you must give up something of equal value. That is the law of equivalent exchange and a founding principle in alchemy, the science the Gate works through. It will give you whatever you ask for, within certain limitations, but it will take its payment." He flexed his right hand without really realizing it. "There is no way to destroy it, if you touch those...hands...it'll probably either destroy you or throw you into some other parallel universe." All that left Ed wondering, yet again, why the Gate had even appeared like that. Alphonse had frozen at the beginning of Ed's speech, "Equivalent exchange? Brother! Maybe that's it! Could the Gate be trying to take people from here as our passage fee?" They thought they'd gotten around that, but if that's what it was doing...there really wouldn't be anyway to stop it.

Hinata noticed Ed flexing his hand."So as long you two are here that thing will kee attacking?" She asked.

"Awww man! And I thought we were going to get a break!"Kiba complained. Akamaru nuzzled Kiba as if trying to comfort him.
"...No time for complaining, Kiba. This is serious..."Shino said glancing back at his teammate.
"Says You!!! You were just complaining a while back about the same situation!"Kiba jumped up about to get in a fight with Shino.
"...If it's a fight you're looking for, this isn't the type of situation or place you're going to find it..."Shino said turning around to glare right at Kiba.
"Grrrrrrr...."Kiba was pissed and about ready to take Shino head on.
Akamaru started to whimper and hide near Al.
"...You brought this upon yourself..."Shino took out a kunai and carefully analyzed Kiba's movements.
"You're on! Don't blame me if you get beat!"Kiba copied Shino and took out a kunai and got ready to fight.
"...I highly doubt that..."Shino said unamused.

Hinata stood up and punched Shino and Kiba in the face."You two can fight when there isn't a chance that one of us might get sucked away to some other world," She said.

Sakura sighed at their childish antics. "She's right, you two."
"Yes. We have Akatsuke and now this to worry about. Not to mention Sound is allways bitting at our heels, waiting for us to cave." A bird flew overhead, slowly desending "?" Tsunade held out her arm and the bird landed. She hissed when it's claws dug into her arm. She pulled out a small message attatched to its leg, opened it up, and read. "...You two said the Gate uses equivilant exchange...right...?" Her eyes were glewed on the letter. The Sand symbol could be seen through the back of the paper. "...And that people can pass through it to another world...?"
"Shizou?"

Ed shrugged "No idea, it's just a theory. Although, if it's right, then the Gate would only keep attacking until some sort of balance was reached." He looked thoughtful for a few seconds, contemplating exactly what would happen if someone did get thrown into the universe they'd escaped from. Or would it even drop them there? That place was nothing like their home country and the lack of alchemy, if nothing else, had nearly driven the boys insane. The thoughtful look was replaced by one of annoyance when Kiba and Shino began to argue. Ed glanced at Al, who had already dropped his head to hide his face in his hand. Alphonse peered through his fingers at the three ninja and sighed in relief when the fight was stopped. Both brothers turned questioning faces toward Tsunade when the bird landed watched her read the note. They nodded in unison, but Al spoke first, "Yeah...why?" Had someone else managed to make the trip? And if so, who and why?

"Owwww...."Kiba said rubbing his cheek, which is where Hinata punched him. Akamaru knew it was safe and went back to comfort Kiba.
"...That's what we can expect from Hinata..."Shino mimicked Kiba and also rubbed the spot, but unfortunately for him he got punched in the cheek. A small river of blood spilled from Shino's mouth, Shino didn't exactly realized it until Kiba pointed it out.
"I guess so, huh? Well at least I didn't get hit that hard to make it bleed!"Kiba laughed even if he was in pain.
"...Oh shut up..."Shino said getting up and wiping the blood away when he approached Hinata. (He didn't want her to worry)

"...What are we doing here again?..."Ze said as they came out of the ground.
"We're killing time. Hey. Look. What is that?"Tsu said pointing towards the Gate.
"...I don't know, but maybe we could listen in on their conversation to see what it is..."Ze said as they snuck closer to Kiba, Shino, Hinata, and the others. Hopefully they would be undetected by them.

Tsunade folded the leter back up. "The Kazekage...Gaara...has two visitors who are looking for a friend of theirs. They say they're from Amestres, and that they, Gaara included, are coming here. Could the gate be trying to balance their arival out?"
"Did he give names?"
"No. Says it would be bad if the letter were intersepted."

"...We could go to Suna and see what's up..."Shino said fixing his glasses.
"Yeah we could."Kiba, afraid to get hit by Hinata again, agreed.
"Arf!"Akamaru barked in agreement as well.
Then Akamaru smelled something different and it wasn't friendly either.
"Grrrrr...."Akamaru growled following the scent.
"...Well there goes that plan..."Shino said also sensing the intruder.
"Damn! Whoever it is, he covered in the stench of blood!"Kiba said sniffing the air.
"...Hinata, use your Byakugan to find the intruder..."Shino said turning towards her.

"...Maybe...or maybe they're tricking us..."Shino said starting to think of solutions.
"Damn...Only if we knew where they were!"Kiba said still sniffing the air. Akamaru was also sniffing around the area.
"...We need to find this intruder..."Shino said releasing his bugs to try and attempt to find the intruder.
Akamaru started to paw and dig into the ground at a certain spot. Kiba noticed him doing this and wondered why.
Suddenly Kiba figured it out and shouted"The Intruder is under the ground! Hinata! Look beneath us!"
Shino was a bit surprised that Kiba figured it out before he did, but this was no time to be jealous.
