"Every year." Jashua responded, she didn't let her position slack but she did glance down at the girl who spoke to her, "You should have seen Loche, he loved to see how far he could push without actually getting kicked out, any punishment dished out he completed with a smile on his face." Jashua explained, chuckling. Loche had absolutely loved to push the Drill Sergeants buttons just to see how far he could push the man without getting thrown out of the academy. But despite all this he had certainly been determined to become a Wolfrider, though that plan hadn't gone so well for him, she just hope she didn't meet the same end.

"She's a Sergeant!" Jashua couldn't help but point out, glancing over then at the pink-haired girl who had spoken up. She couldn't imagine mouthing off like that in front of Adrian, if he wasn't so distracted that girl would probably get so many laps she'd collapse by the end of it. Jashua knew what that was like, she had seen Recruits collapse from being unable to meet the Sergeants demands. Jashua just kept her head down and did what she was told without question, it kept him out of her hair.

Keeva raised a perfect eyebrow. "Been here before then? Who's Loche?" she questioned, noticing the taller girl's taut body. Keeva herself was relaxed; she had been rubbing her arms, trying to keep the cold off. The Sergeants didn't seem to really notice the recruits, except for the random yelling at the outspoken pink-haired girl. She would snap back to her salute when she thought the Sergeants were done 'talking'.

Shivering, she took a quick peek back at the wolves. They were still circling each other, and growls still emitted from their throats. But they weren't biting, so, Keeva mused, they must be speaking with each other. She dearly wished she could hear their words. Her mind drifted, wondering about the day she would be bonded with a wolf of her own. At least, she hoped that day would come.

"Already had my good share of blows to the head for the week, Sarge. Haze has me covered for this one." she remarked, tapping the back of her head for emphasis. Alice looked over at the pink-eyed girl with distaste at her question, but before she could shoot back with a scolding retort, another Recruit quickly pointed Alice's rank out to the girl. At least some of these Recruits had sense to know who their authoritative figures were.

Alice raised a brow in amusement as it seemed Adrian had given her the liberty of assigning the Recruits their next task. Between all the bickering, new arrivals, and anxious whispers, the young Sergeant figured she'd give the Recruits a long and laborious task to keep them occupied for the time being. She gave a quick glance to the rifles near the Drill Sergeant, tucking her pistol into a belt before sauntering over to nimbly pick up one of the guns. She inspected the gun carefully, remembering how to take apart and resemble the exact type of rifle from her months spent at the Academy. At the sound of Miri's question Alice turned and gave her a cheeky grin. "But of course~" She looked back towards the group. "Oi! You lot listen up! Newbies too. If you ever hope to survive a battle field, you need to know how to handle one of these." Alice held up the rifle. "Drop it while you're facing a centipede, and it's game over. You're screwed." She said bluntly before tilting the rifle at an angle. "Rifles are to be pointed at the ground at all times with your finger off the trigger when you are not aiming for a target. This is done whether or not you know if the gun's loaded." She paused only for a second to make sure the Recruits were following along.

"Each of you are to take one of these rifles, hold it in the position I told you and complete that obstacle course there,"
she pointed to a military training course in the opposite direction of the two wolves with the muzzle of the gun. "Drop the gun, and you have to start over again. No shoving, no whining, no complaining, or I will see to it that I bust a cap in your arse." The girl stopped to throw an accusing glare at the twins. "Since you two seem to be so enthusiastic about this class today, you may run the course twice. And for those of you who are wondering if this is the perfect time to decide to shoot something," she swung the muzzle of the rifle towards Adrian and pressed down on the trigger, which didn't budge. "The triggers on these guns are locked, making it nearly impossible for you to shoot the living hell out of each other." The Sergeant was silent for a moment as she considered if one of the Recruits were to pick up a rifle that had a discharge. "Lord so help me, if I hear any one of you manage to pull a trigger on one of these, you will become personally acquainted with the inside of Flamehaze's jaws. Do I make myself perfectly clear?" Alice demanded with malice in her tone. All it would take for one of these Recruits to screw up once with the artillery for all hell to break loose.

"Well? Get to it!"

We'll see... Haze crouched slightly, lips drawn back into a scowl. The fur along his back bristled as he released a low growl. He really hadn't wanted to deal with fighting this wolf today, nonetheless Flamehaze shifted froward and let out and agitated bark of annoyance towards Nightwing, indicating that if the older male planned on actual doing something, to get it over with already. Perhaps he could get off easily by taking up the defensive.

The afternoon was cold, but when you run for more than an half an hour, you tend to heat up very fast. Aciano had his coat in his hands while he jogged at a very slow pace back to the dormitories, panting slightly. He showed up for his noon rifle class - on time, too - but left after 10 minutes of standing and waiting. He figured he would get his daily run in - which was usually forced onto him by the drill sergeant - rather then stand around idly. The route he took was very roundabout and snaked along the inside edge of the academy walls and between the buildings. Somehow, he managed not to meet up with his punished classmates while they circled the buildings too.

When he first passed the class, he didn't think twice about it. There were two wolfrider pairs, not normal for a simple rifle class, and only a smattering of recruits - all female. He run up the stairs to quickly rinse off in the shower and stopped by the drill instructor's office to ask about the class. Only he wasn't there. Coming out again, he watched as the two wolves circled each other aggressively while the two riders bickered/joked around and a twin pair of recruits started fighting. Surely this wasn't his rifle class...

He ran towards them, getting excuses/remarks ready and holding back some laughter. Somehow he didn't think he would get in trouble for being horribly late seeing as how nothing had been taught. But you could never be too sure with Adrian. He enjoyed punishment. And Aciano enjoyed earning it most of the time. He didn't see the punishment as punishment but as payment for whatever he did to incur it. Therefore, it wasn't too big of a deal.

Aciano casually joined the group of recruits as they were instructed on how to properly hold a rifle. He grinned at the idea of fighting the centipedes. Excitement, movement, and purpose all bundled into one. Soon, now, he would be able to bond with a wolf of his own.

Hachi was silent during the speech, carefully observing the skill in which her current instruction operated the gun. She wanted to make sure she did everything as smoothly as her and if she messed up she would run the coarse until she had it perfect. It was her first task as a recruit and she intended to make it through and at the end it would be her first accomplishment.

She was about to ask a question.. "Umm.." but she bit her lip and decided now wasn't the time to be inquisitive. There was plenty of time to make mistakes, although she really didn't want that to be her only way of learning. Her deep purple eyes scanned the row of guns and she walked over to them to pick one up for herself. She held it next to her, finger near the trigger, but not to be placed on it. At first the weight of the rifle was a bit heavy, but she managed to balance it out after handling the gun in a matter of minutes.

After close examination and becoming acquainted with her rifle, Hachi turned around to inspect the coarse. She was ready to begin. She jogged over.. without noticing the others, she just wanted to work on this without all the casual chit-chat. She hoped to make bonds with some of the students later.. after all she was practically a loner without her friends and family here to support her. For a moment her heart sank inside her chest, remembering such sadness. She snapped out of it and returned to the task at hand.

She ran the coarse once and dropped her rifle at least three times. She hid her shame and started back at the beginning, unafraid of what the others might think. There would be more than enough time to run the coarse, at least she hadn't planned to do anything else unless her instructors demanded it of her.

Aspen listened as instructions were given; here was something he would need to pass to be able to have his bonded. Piercing green eyes took a chance to glance at the guns in the pile beside the Drill Sergeant; he was to hold one of those then, interesting enough. He carefully listened to how to hold them while keeping his finger off the trigger, that of course was common sense for him but his father of course had been a Wolfrider. He shifted in the cold, the uniform really was not meant for cold weather but it was his due to feel the bite of the cold as he had not thought to bring a jacket or even a sweater to keep warm. Aspen felt himself smirk, the speaker was more than entertaining in her threats; but he was in no doubt that she would not follow through should someone be foolish enough to press their luck with the locked triggers, he himself would be rather angry for the risk to his life.

‘Not like you are not risking it now as you study to fight.’ Ah his minds voice, ever entertaining in its own way since it was always right; he was training and learning just to risk his own life. Still better to die in a true fight then because of some bumbling idiot trying to look cool and fire the guns, not that he wanted to die mind you but it was preferred to the gun thing. He was more interested in the wolves here, they were as large as the books had said but in no way did they seem fearsome or scary looking. They were beautiful, they were wild not caged by walls and laws only the rules of the pack; they did not even have to bond if they did not want to. His attention snapped back to the speaker as she snapped for everyone to get to it, finally something to stretch his legs with but he would have liked if it was warmer; it wasn’t nice to crawl through snow that turned to mud the more people moved about it. He moved to get the guns but froze at the growl sound; a check showed the wolf was not angry at him.

Their growls were quiet loud, perhaps they were scary while fighting or growling; he didn’t fancy being on the end of those teeth certainly. Grabbing the rifle he checked it over, making sure the barrel was not blocked and the handle splintered as it could have been hit and the wood be damaged. He did his best to ignore the growl of the wolf, it was not his business to mess with other riders bonded but she must have noticed the wolves snapping at each other? Done with the check he ran out to the course, keeping a sure hand on the handle and with the firearm wrapped around his arm with the muzzle pointed to the ground and away from his swift moving legs. It didn’t matter if the trigger was locked or even if it wasn’t loaded though he was pretty sure all the rifles were, he just wasn’t going to take the chance that he make a habit of holding it wrong then comes the real thing and he shoot his own foot off. He wanted to groan as he saw a wooden wall ahead but he refrained from it and instead jumped and with his left arm placed his hand at the top and swung himself completely over it without having to put a foot in the foot holes.

He had of course run this before, he was not new to it but holding a firearm was a new and added thing. He was more than sure many of the older recruits would be able to do just what he had done if not even better; he would admit that he was not the strongest in the group of recruits his age but he tried to make up for it by strategy, brains and speed. Despite the cold a small sweat was building up as he neared the end of the course, his hand was slippery with perspiration as he tightened his grip on the rifle handle; he refused to drop the thing even if his whole being were to camp up, like the instructor said; the gun meant life and death outside.

Adrian watched with silent amusement as Alice easily slipped into authority, curious as to know what she had planned for the recruits. The young woman walked over to the rifles and picked one up, inspecting it carefully - whoever her Patron had been, she had been taught well. Still, Adrian couldn't feel as though it had been such a shame she only had to deal with him for two months.

Listening to Alice instruct the students, Adrian was impressed at how well she could deal with them, although she was a little too verbose for his taste. He would've chucked the rifles at them, shown them how to hold the weapons properly, and then chased them off to run the obstacle course. If they didn't know dropping a rifle in the middle of a battle was not a good thing, then they deserved to be eaten. Survival of the fittest.

"Don't be so nice to them," Adrian commented to the younger Sergeant once she was done talking. He looked over to the pile of packs that were pushed off to the side - they were filled with sand. He had wanted to make the recruits were those as they went through the obstacle course, but since they were already off...

"Have them throw those on afterwards, and maybe climb the cliffside," Adrian suggested with a smug smirk as he gestured toward the rocky wall of the mountains behind them. To be honest, Alice would make quite an entertaining Drill Sergeant.

Nightwing took Haze's slight lowering of the body as a sign of submission - he hadn't expected much from a Beta. Had the younger wolf been a Gamma, Nightwing would've had the other's head in his jaws already. But he had some respect for his fellow Beta, whether he showed it or not (which he didn't, most of the time).

But Nightwing kept his rigid posture, standing tall and keeping his straight. His interest in Haze had faded by now, deciding not to lecture the young wolf any further. If the pup wouldn't listen to an older more experienced wolf's advice, then Nightwing certainly wasn't going to waste anymore words. Can I attack them now? You said I could play centipede.

Adrian looked at the wolves, noting that Nightwing had relaxed enough to know that the older wolf wouldn't start a fight. Then he looked back to Alice. "Here's another idea. Have the wolves act as the centipedes and chase after the recruits."

"Yes Ma'am!" Mirisua yelled. Miri picked up one of the rifles. Staring at it, she examined which parts were safe to touch and which were not. Her blue eyes looked at the rifle with somewhat hidden disgust. Though it was needed to live, you could be easily claiming innocent lives with just the wrong movement of the finger, even if it was locked. She held the riffle like the sergeant had shown all of the recruits and began the obstacle course. She really wanted to be a wolf rider and a puny... well not so puny... riffle was not going to stop her.

She began the obstacle course like the other recruits had started, and was careful not to drop the riffle in fear of having to start over again. But Miri was also afraid of the riffle itself. Even though the sergeant said the riffles were locked, one might accidentally not be locked or one of the recruits were naughty (OOC: I'm not accusing anyone >O) and had unlocked it. Her dad had been shot to death while getting dinner for Miri and her mother.

Miri had never done this course before, and she had definitely not held a riffle before, so she considered it somewhat difficult, being hungry most of the time and though she had some strength and muscle from living alone out in the open for so long, she wasn't doing as bad as she thought she would have. Yet, she knew she still had room for improvement. She noticed some were doing the course with ease, some were struggling like Miri was, and some were doing worst.

Hachi was just returning to the begging again when she heard the nearby conversation between the two. She hoped it wasn't a serious gesture.. she was still struggling to grasp the whole procedure and coarse at the same time. She kept glancing over at the wolves, but continued to practice. This time she kept her gun closer to her body, trying to improve her stature and avoid the same mistakes.

It paid off! She managed to run the coarse without dropping her rifle once. She happily made a note of this, for future reference. At this point she didn't know whether she should continue training on the coarse or wait for the actions of her superiors. The dread of being chased by wolves haunted her mind. Wolves were to be companions, yet they were still scary and potential enemies - especially if she were to give off the wrong signals. Her mind raced and she imaged herself with her own wolf. What would she do once she had one of her own?

To take her mind off of things she buckled down and ran the course again. If anything it would only help her improve. She couldn't be bothered with standing around looking like an idiot. Although she had been panting heavily, she knew that if she endured this she would go back to her own room and have time to relax later. The thought of a soft bed made her more at ease. That feeling wasn't too far away and she pushed her body to keep working hard.

Snapping up a riffle and holding it in the position Alice had instructed, she muttered under her breath not keen on submitting to someone her own age as her sergeant. Taking a few steps back she took off towards the directed course Chehero was glad to be running now as this allowed her feet to warm up against the cold snow. "Maybe this will fight off the growing threat of frost bite."

Coming upon the first obstacle course always made Chehero a little nervous dropping down onto her stomach she let out a deep breath. It was barb wire, but would it be volted like it had been in previous classes. Not willing to take the chances Chehero moved her right arm like a snake along the ground her hind left leg following the same pattern. Slithering her body along the ground like a snake, Chehero was the last to finish that part of the course as movement on the ground was difficult for her. Rising to her feet once again she eyed the next part of the course quite warmer than she had the previous one.

This obstacle required her to run through tires, much easier than before Chehero quickly kicked up her legs gaining back her position in the run. Forcing her self onto the next obstacle Chehero had to not only maneuver herself through the wooden planks laying vertically but she had to move the gun keeping it in the same position. Staring up at the net hurdle she geared herself to climb that too, but with one hand keeping the gun in one unmoving position meant she couldn't juggle it about, which would force her to have to use just the one arm to climb the net. And anyone who had been in the class before would know how near impossible that was. Struggling her way though the obstacle the rest of the course turned out to be the easiest part and finally pulling to the end she returned back to Alice panting as she stood there. Her lungs were burning now far worse than they had from the long run not long before that.

Still holding her gun in the correct position Chehero stood there staring off into the distance she didn't want to cause any trouble though still couldn't get over the fact that her sergeant was only a year older than her and will quite a bit less training than she had undergone she assumed.

Jamie's surveying vision was occupied for the most part by the wolves and their riders the concentration of her line of sight on them but her peripheral vision taking in scenes at the lower priority. She did, however, catch information from the wind as well to evaluate and learn from but was intent on not detracting from listening to a superior command.

Present before her was an opportunity to observe the wolves at a distance she had always only imagined before the present. However, her sincere joy within her was currently overpowered by her focus toward her current endeavor. With the opportunity to the observe the wolves, this is as well training she reasoned inwardly every the optimistic thinker she was. Always optimistic but in a serious light when she sees appropriate for the circumstances. The recruit figured that in the chances she had to taken in details such as the flick of a wolves ears, the line of their gazes, and their behavior in situations up close, she would be wise not to waste them and store the memories of her observations well for reference and learning.

Jamie also referred back to lessons from conversations in the past related to what she caught by ear of considering one's words and actions before authority.

All the while in her thoughts, the wheels of her mind turned to also maintain evaluation of the wolves. Another thought sprang to mind as she came to the realization that the wolves actions may accompany their words regardless of telepathy, such as how they snap and may possibly be communicating with their shared realm of communication that excluded her. It was a realization akin to a child learning of words that sounded alike but had different meanings or several words meaning the same thing. She observed for an expression or indication in the wolfriders as well. She imagined it may liken to a sudden outward reaction to an inward thought possibly seeming out of place.

All her thoughts ceased as she took in the sergeant's instructions, intent on comprehending all details. When issued the query of clarity, well-mannered practice had her instinctively return a strong, clear reply, "Yes, Sergeant." And on cue took her turn acquiring a rifle and began her run.

Her peripheral vision though had picked up the slight crouch of the younger wolf and in habit of observing wolves allowed herself to allot a bit of her attention to shifting her eyes and line of vision for quick observances of the two wolves. So, when she started her run, she had forgotten to taken into account the snow and her barefoot state, slipping just as she started but from frequent experience of falling in the past whether in thorns or with a dangerous hoe in hand, she did not drop the rifle keeping one of her holds on it as she stopped the rest of her fall with the other hand. This though resulted in Jamie executing an added lap. She admonished herself, reasoning that she should aim for not letting such details as she had slip her mind, she figured that in taking in the area and all other practices of a wolfrider in battle it was essential to focus on aiming for no slips of details, and the extra lap she further thought would allow her to observe in more detail how to run in the snow for she figured wolfriders should aim to adapt and perform effectively no matter their state. The recruit moved aiming for efficient motions, without waste. She also kept her senses aimed at keenness. In the case of her line of vision and peripheral vision, the wolves were outside the field of vision, but she still in their absence she had kept her vision no less tuned for surrounding details. She aimed to keep her mind alert.

The recruit had her past to be appreciative of. The regimens and routines she had challenged herself in her days before the academy had benefited her now after her laps. Her heart rate had an increase in speed in comparison to before the run, but she was far from down for the count.

"Yeah. I've been here for awhile. This is my third attempt to bond." Jashua said, slightly ashamed at the fact, but she prided herself in her honesty so she didn't try to hide the fact. With another glance to the Sergeants who were still bickering she let down her hand and brushed her bangs out of her face, nervously checking that her bun was still in place. "Loche was a friend of mine a few years back. He was there at my first attempt to Bond. We even started a Drill Sergeant Support Group, the DSSG would meet after every lesson and vent. Made a lot of friends that way, we stopped meeting after everyone either Bonded or had to leave. I've been tempted to bring it back though." Jashua said with a smile, glancing over to make sure Adrian and the other Sergeant hadn't heard her when she spoke of the support group, they would all be dead if he ever found out.

The other Sergeant's words made her snap back to attention though as she listened to the usual lesson about how to hold the riffle and to never set it down. Jashua stepped forth and grabbed one of the practice riffles fondly, checking it to make sure it was unobstructed and undamaged. She didn't dare test the trigger, not after Loche's had gone off that one time. Nodding to herself she adjusted her bookbag, refusing to take it off insisting she needed the added weight, before walking back to the girl she'd been speaking with.
"If you need any tips, just ask. I love this old course. Though it would be nice if they'd mix it up once in awhile." Jashua chuckled before moving towards the course with a steady stride, her head up. In this she was sure of herself, she'd done it so many times it was natural to her by now. Keeping the riffle in position she made it through the course the first time without dropping it, but refused to stop there.
'Practice, practice, practice. Only then can you improve, only then will they think you worthy. She thought to herself as she went through the course a second time, a third. She would keep going until they were told to stop, or Adrian threw something else into the mix as he was most likely to do.

She was starting to get tired after her fifth run through. While most of her was warm from the exertion her hands were starting to get stiff and cold. She knew if she didn't stop soon she would start to fumble and drop the riffle.
There is always room for improvement. You must always push harder than last time. She thought to push herself through another run-through. And a seventh after that, hoping the Sergeants would decide on another exercise soon, or at least throw in the wolves, maybe that would get her adrenaline going.

"Third? Damn." Keeva gave the taller girl a look that was almost sympathetic- it was the best she could muster. She didn't usually have sympathy for many people, but that must be harsh, unable to bond. She glanced at the snow coated ground as she listened to the female sergeant's non too kind words. She glanced over at the other girl again. "I might hold you to that tips thing," she groaned.

Sighing, Keeva put on her signature frown as she walked slowly to the rifles. Staring at the course, she noticed there were similarities to an ordinary day on the City's streets. But...there was also crawling. She HATED to crawl. "A ranting group sounds pretty good about now," she whispered under her breath, hoisting a gun upward with a full-blown scowl.

The young girl had never encountered a rifle on the streets; they were heavier than she expected. Studying it carefully with her eyes instead of her hands, she took special note of the gun's trigger. Mental note, she thought, do not touch.

Seeing some other girls begin, Keeva trekked forward. She went slowly the first time, lagging behind most of the others, but once she completed it without dropping her heavy rifle, she began to speed up. It wasn't until her 4th time through that she stumbled and dropped the rifle. Cursing under her breath, she retreated to the starting point and began yet again.

Alice cast a side-glance to Adrain and chuckled darkly as the Recruits ran off to fulfill their first task. "Sorry, next time I'll beat them over the head with a hatchet before I give them their instructions." she teased. Looking back over to the course, the Sergeant couldn't help but scowl as some of the recruits finished the obstacle course quite early and chose to run it again. First the laps, now this? The course was fairly long and time-consuming. Especially for someone who was carrying a moderately heavy rifle in their hand while trying not to drop it. What were they doing? Skipping obstacles?

The young woman's eyes narrowed before perking at the Drill Sergeant's offered ideas. Adrian probably had the sandbags ready for the Recruits for his own amusement, however they could prove useful in training considering many soldiers went onto battle fields with a gun and a heavy pack strapped to their back. Alice's mouth split into a wicked grin at the suggestion of including the wolves. "How come every Apprentice doesn't have a mentor like you, Sarge?" she praised with fiendish ambitions as she motioned for Flamehaze to come over.

Haze backed up cautiously as Nightwing turned away from him to speak with the Drill Sergeant, relieved that the older Beta had lost interest in fighting him. He looked over to his own rider, watching in amusement at how quickly the recruits were to obey the woman that had just aimed a gun at them only moments before. Noticing Alice beckoning him over with a flick of her wrist, Haze gave the deep violet male a cautious glance before slowly padding over to the Sergeant.

Heeey!
Alice called to him cheerily, obviously feeling the same relief that Haze hadn't received a scar from Nightwing to add to his collection. I need you to do me a favor. Can you go chase down the Recruits that are lagging behind for the next pert of this course?

Haze gave a disdainful grunt. What? Why would I want to do that?

I've got a big, juicy rawhide with your name written all over it back at the barrack...

Is it horse...?

Alice shook her head. Nope, beef.

Haze paused to consider, subconsciously trailing his tongue over his lips at Alice's offer. Fine,

Alice grinned deviously at finally being able to convince Haze to "help" with the Recruits' training. Turning on her heel to face the obstacle course, the Sergeant bit down on both of her pinkies and gave a short, sharp whistle. "Those of you who think this course is soo easy can grab one of those bags and proceed to run over to that cliff side, where you will climb to the top and try to find a way back down... that doesn't include falling! Those who fall behind will be captured by 'centipedes'." Honestly, these Recruits couldn't bond to a wolf and expect them to run and carry their ammunition for them. Though when she had mentioned the 'falling behind' part, she had been referring to Haze. No doubt Nightwing would tackle the Recruits whether they were at the back of the pack or not. "Penalties of dropping the bag, gun, or being captured will result starting over at the beginging of the obstacle course."

These Recruits wanted a new challenge? That is exactly what they were going to get.

Haze sat down by Alice's side and waited quietly. Despite his lack of interest in randomly chasing a human, all wolves held the instinct of playing with the prey that they stalked, regardless of whether they were going to eat it or not.

Chehero practically died at the mention of now having to put on a sandbag and high tail it up the mountain. Not only had she run around the damn academy instead of going from wall and back, Chehero had done the desired course without dropping the gun. Now she was to pick up a sand bag huff it up the mountain WITH the gun in hand. Glaring at the other recruits who were obviously showing off with inhuman ability to complete the training course multiple times Chehero stomped off to pick up the sand bags. Honestly how could people be expected to do this even if they were bonded to a wolf.

Struggling with the nearing threat of frost bite on her toes she struggled to pick up the sand bag, glaring all the while at the two sergeants who really should be running this course with them at this point. It was insanity not only were they asking the recruits to do something almost physically impossible. Looking up at the mountain Chehero stuck out her tongue as she walked towards it, hiking for a mile or so before stopping to rest out of the sight of everyone -and hopefully the wolves.- She had spent her entire life studying medicine which left her with little physical strength.

Feeling her way with numb fingers Chehero found climbing the cliff side hard, first because her lungs were freezing up from the lack of air flowing in and out of them. Secondly her toes now had two really well placed blisters on the pads of her feet, not to mention the added weight on her back from the sand bag. At least by this point Chehero knew that if she would be able to make it to the top of the cliff and back down she would be able to take injured people out of the battle field. Heaving her self up further along the cliff side Chehero coughed attempting to capture the air needed. Looking at the sky she shook her head, sun was obviously start to be falling, and by the time she would reach the top it would most likely have set. meaning she would be sleeping out in the cold tonight. Shivering at the thought she cursed under her breath.

Having caught her breath successfully by this point Chehero rose again to her feet, resuming her climb towards the top of the mountain. Trying to stay alert for centipedes having actually taken them seriously that there really were large bugs coming after her.
