Red rolled her eyes from beneath her hood and she smirked. Yeah yeah, I've gotten taller and I have boobs. That is the only real difference. She laughed at herself for saying that and her lips twisted into a wry grin.

He raised his brows suggestively while trying to not burst into laughter. "Well, I don't think girls have cooties anymore." Then gave up and laughed.

Red covered her eyes with a hand and giggled at that. So, what? If I attempted to kiss you now, you wouldn't push me and run away this time? She couldn't help but laugh and think about a time when they where both littun's.

He remembered how horribly embarrased when she had when they were little. The guys had teased him for a long while after. Not only had he been embarrassed but unsure of himself. "I wouldn't complain too much, anyways." He laughed.

Red just shook her head. She felt happy now as she gazed out into the forest and spoke with Vitae. I'll remember that. She promised. Red smothered a yawn with a pale hand and she sat up, crossing her legs to sit Indian Style.

Stretching, he too yawned. "It seems pretty peaceful around here, right now." Propping himself on his elbows and shaking his forever rebellious bangs from his face.

Yeah. Makes me wonder what's wrong. Shaylene admitted, her blue eyes scanning the forest again. She bit ehr lip, trying to figure out if something bad was going ot happen, or if this was just a really good night.
((*glares out the window* It is Mid-night:30 and the friggin' clock towner just went off.))

"One thing you've never learned is letting the trouble come to you. Instead of looking for it." He closed his eyes. "But saying that there's nothing wrong with finding trouble then resolving it." He pressed his lips into a firm line, he wouldn't admit that the silence was bugging him too.

Shaylene shifted where she sat, stretching out her legs, careful not to touch V, then folding them again. She pulled the edges of the cloak around her and held them together. Well. . .umm. . .This has been a lovely visit. But frankly, I'm bored now. Red had always been one to say exactly hwo she felt, unless it embarrassed her.

He just yawned, usued to her frankness. Then stood. "Yeah, me too." He gave her a crooked grin. "And I've got a few more... strings to tye up. It was nice seeing you, Shaylene. I'll leave you then. Goodbye. Don't wait so long next time you visit." He finished as he melted into the darkness and disappeared from sight.

Shaylene waved, though he was probably already gone. Sure sure. I'll show up when you least expect it, and at a strange moment too. She smiled at she stood up, dusting of her back side and starting for the forest. Now. . . Which way is out? She murmered.

V walked into 'The Black Dahlia', a club hang out for many of the Night World. The only way to get in was to show your 'identity' (flower symbol). Once inside he met with a witch. The guy was on the shorter side, but ripled with muscle, probably around 25 years old. V would have put him on the ugly side of the Night World, but witch males were a rare commodity so he'd have plenty of female consorts. And this man had information.
"Hey Andromeda. Fill me in." V straddled an empty stool next to the man who was tossing back tequila like water.
"Vitae. I heard that 'the coven' has been meeting in the southern part of Virginia. A small place called Owensboro." Andromeda tossed back another one. "Vitae you know I'm really stretching my neck out for this one."
Vitae just shook his head. "The threat to the Night World needs removed and demolished."
"Yeah, yeah. I know," the guy turned to V. "but I won't die for it."

V just arched a brow. "I'm not asking you to."
The guy ran a hand threw his greased back hair. "I think a few of your cousins are in the middle of this."
V stole the next shot and downed it in a fast gulp letting the tequila burn down his throat. "Rassmusen?"
"Not only him, but Ash and his sister's too."
V's eyes widened. "Ash... I thought he hated humans."
The guy scowled at the shot glass then sighed as he stood from his seat. "I'd say he's 'involved' with them."

Red entered the woods and started walking. She had a horrible sense of direction, but she was fairly sure that this was the right way. Humming softly, Red held her cloak close to her, ready to morph if the need came.
