Any additional note: His hooves, horn, and the adornments on his mane and tail have been dyed silver. A small cape drapes around his shoulders, tied together in the front with a silver, winged pendant, and hangs down frayed at the end. Connected to each side is a piece of cloth that drapes across his belly to be tied to another cloth that wraps around his tail reaching the other side of his body. It has a silver web pattern. The pendants that hook the pieces together are silver winged shaped. Pieces of cloth hang down from each pendant, frayed, and a mixture of silvers and blues the same as his mane and tail. Two feathers hang down from each side, connected with webs. From his horn there are also two feathers that dangle down connected by webs. A single feather hangs at his tail. Around his legs is a thin, transparent adornment that is webbed in pattern as well. It is made out of the same material as the cloth draping over his belly.

I came up with this idea because me and some of my friends are dressing up in steampunk so i was like why not a Soquili horse:3

The concept behind this is that in our world, people dress up on Halloween (at least in theory) as ghouls and demons so the real ones that wander the world during that night will not attack you. So kind of going off of that idea in the Soquili world, what's the big, mean nasty? Kalonas. And of course, like most costumes are now 'cute' versions of the real thing - the mare here is dressed up as a scaaary Kalona... kind of. Maybe she doesn't have the proper respect and thinks they're just scary stories to tell insolent colts - either way - here's her take on a Kalona.
The wings and little horns are affixed to costume ties. Her hair goes along with the awesome swoopy designs on her fur. She also has some white beads for accents that match her eyes, and a cute little horse-skull decoration on a necklace.

Name of Soquili (name the horse!): The Red Death
Give us a name for your design: Masque of the Red Death
Image: He's based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe, of course. As you may be able to tell, I got hit by this idea of his personality and what he'd look like, but I'm willing to give a lot of artistic license to the colorist; hopefully I'll get a crappy ref up here at some point too, but I cannot draw him right now for the life of me.

He wears a jeweled mask in ruby and gold - perhaps a feathered eagle, or a peacock, or a lizard. An intricately carved and heavy-looking clock, in ebony wood with a gold pendulum, hands, and numerals, is held over his chest by braids of his own mane. Over it drapes the tattered remnants of a translucent gray shroud, which reaches just past his knees in the front and barely covers his back by the hindquarters. The leg bones of another Soquili have been strapped to his own hind legs - or they might just be markings dyed into the fur, whichever you prefer.

Above all, you would notice the blood. Spattered and dripping as if sweated from his very skin, in some places it has been smeared into strange designs, like the work of a delirious madman.

Half-concealed in various places on his person are small hints of blue, purple, green, orange, white, and violet, to represent the first six rooms. It's up to you what to make them or where to put them, whether it be a streak of paint on one hoof, an oddly colored peacock feather in his tail, a stained glass ornament, or a simple round bead strung into his mane.

If you want to play with some draping black velvet like in the tapestries of the seventh room, that would be totally awesome, but it's not absolutely necessary to his costume. ^^

Any additional note:

The only thing certain about him is that he is mad.

Of course, that would be immediately obvious from his garish mix of masquerade garb and a blood-spattered corpse's, and the wild look often in his golden eyes. But even without these, his fantastic ravings would give him away in an instant. His varied moods change without warning, from delirious excitement to dark melancholy, and his story does likewise.

Sometimes he says that he is the Red Death itself in stallion form. Other times, he claims to be one of the revelers, cursed to suffer forever and yet never die.

Or perhaps he is Prospero himself, the last vestiges of sanity in that brilliant yet troubled mind long since bled away in the years since his downfall...
