"The only other person I know is a girl, so I wouldn't have one either" She smirked lightly as she met his eyes. "You don't have to have a date to go to prom... Prom is fun... besides there's bound to be trouble if B.A.N.D. is playing..."

He scratched his chin, blushing a bit when she looked into his eyes, "Um...ok...I guess thats true." He said smiling, "Okay...i'll be there.." He chuckled nervously, smoothing his tie out.

"you are a very nervous person.... are you just uncomfortable with strangers?" Tehra asked him smiling. "Don't let me force you into going." She laughed sweetly "I promise I won't beat you up..." Even though Tehra probably could... that was an odd thought. It was just funny, she supposed, parading around as human when your true form has big black wings and deep crimson eyes. Tehra thought it was amusing, considering she was not the one someone would consider to be a dark creature usually associated with evil, though she was good.

He mumbled at her question, "Ah yeah...I do have some problems with shyness, sorry." He chuckled rubbing his head, he stood, "Well...I guess i'll see you at the prom then?" He asked smiling.

Tehra stood up. "Or possibly at school. Hey, Tommy, if it's not too forward, do you jsut want to go together for the sake of having a date? Two people who don't know each other or the town? Could be fun..." She smiled at him, her teal eyes sparkling. If he said no, she understood, but it could be fun. "And you don't have to be shy around me Tommy, its alright..."

Tommy blushed at her question, he had never had a girl ask him to go to the prom together or anything like that. He fidgeted with his tie, "A..Ah....um..o...okay...sure that...sounds...good.." He said fumbling with his own words.

Tehra giggled lightly. "Tommy I told you you don't have to be nervous. Go on and consider us friends...." She smiled at him "Now then, I'll see you tomorrow and my prom dress is white, if you do so choose to match with me. You don't have to though. It will be fun. I'll see you around school tomorow then. It's late we should be getting home and getting to sleep."

He nodded slowely and waved to her. He decided to head off. As he began to walk off he got a call from his father, "Yes?" He blinked listening, "Dad...yeah...ok...fine fine fine, i'll head to the center and grab your notes..." He sighed , "Man...dad why do you have to be so forgetfull?" Next.

After B.A.N.D. had made their closing statements and started to clean up, was when James Cross had made his move. He had been standing on the side of the stage watching as the crowd had started literally emptying their pockets for this band called B.A.N.D. James didn't like what he felt in the pit of his stomach at all. No doubt Laura was probably getting restless just sitting in the cruiser waiting for him, but she would have to wait. This was more important. When Andrew West, the apparent guitarist made the announcement about his little sister, Danielle West, who had run the lights and sound and basically made everything tick, James's eyes narrowed over to the sound board and he saw none other than the girl he had met earlier in the night. 'Well... well... you just keep on appearing don't you?' James thought and then he made his way over to the board where it looked like she was cleaning up. Something very different was going on with this B.A.N.D. group. When they had been singing that money song it was almost like they had hypnotized the audience into giving them money and that wasn't something James liked at all. He had a couple of questions for the members of this B.A.N.D. After all, it was James Cross's duty if he was going to be supervising the prom to understand just who B.A.N.D. really was. He finally got past the rough and quickly exitting crowd and was now face to face with Danielle West, the "special effects" girl. "Hi. Remember me? I have a few questions if you don't mind Ms. West." James said in a casual tone.

"I was wondering if you'd stick around." Danielle didn't even look up as she finished unhooking her board from the club's meager excuse for one. "As me all the questions you like, but drop the cop act." "Yes, I know you aren't a real cop." Danielle pulled out her PDA and showed Cross a large image of Laura Listerine. "Unless you're had some very dramatic, very recent surgery, that is. Don't worry, you're secret's safe with me. I just need you to understand you're not the big man here. Right now there's a large, mistempered security droid watching you. If you do anything I don't particularly like, he will tear you apart." Danielle carefully placed her board in its case and sat down in the chair. "So, Miss Listerine, what did you want to ask me about?"

James Cross smiled at the cute looking blond, but behind his eyes there was a feeling of annoyance. It was true that he was not technically a cop, (this is what Danielle had said), but at the same time he technically had authority over everyone at this club. He promised himself to talk to Laura after this whole situation was over and get a badge, whether it be a rookie or standard one, so that he didn't have any smart asses talking back to him. "Sorry kid." James said to the blond girl. "But this really isn't any of your business. If this is a friend you are trying to protect she isn't in trouble, so I'd appreciate it if you... and I am going to say this as nicely as possible... get out of here." The entire time James had been talking to the blond girl he was continuing to supress the urge to blow up completely. Did nobody have respect for the police anymore? Even Danielle had a little attitude with him. Now all of his attention was entirely focused on Danielle, he didn't care if the blond girl was listening. "You're right. My name is not Laura Listerine. In actuality, Laura Listerine is sitting outside in her crusier right now waiting for me to be finished. My name is James Cross and while the badge I have is not mine I am a cop of some sorts. The reason I still have Laura's badge is a very long story that really has nothing to do with any of this therefore it is unimportant. The reason I am here right now though is because a couple of hours ago I was put in charge to head up the security for Delmor High's Prom and if the rumors are true then your very own B.A.N.D. is playing at it and if that is the case I have a few questions for you. Standard procedure. Just so I can get a little bit of a background on you guys."

Danielle also raised her eye at Kailey. The girl was far too excited about being hypnotized. She mentally flagged the girl as being a little too curious for her own good. About that time, the man turned his attitude on her. "Don't give me any attitude, sir. Certainly not if you expect me to answer your questions." She grabbed her equipment and pushed past him to place it in a small, robotic car that had wheeled over. It left with a quiet buzz and Danielle was free to give the jerk her full attention. "I was willing to move past the badge, but since you're so damn determined to talk about it... It happens to be very important how you got that badge. It clearly isn't yours, which means it proves nothing about your profession. Perhaps you killed Listerine and stole it. There's no way to prove you didn't right now. But, like I said, I don't really care about it. So, sir, ask me your questions or stop wasting my time."

James held back his annoyance at the girl. He couldn't believe the nerve of this girl. He almost had the idea of just forgetting about her and trying to find that boy again. But he couldn't. Whether Danielle believed him or not, this WAS his job and he WAS going to carry it out. "Okay..." James said, taking a breath to let his annoyance settle. "My first question is what is your guys' background? How did you form? And how have I never heard of you until recently? Then my second question is: Are people always willing to throw money your way or even do something more whenever they hear your songs? Or was that just today?"

"Our background? My brother learned guitar from my father and started to play his own shows at 15. He's a genius with the music, but his singing is... Well, he wasn't very popular. We saw Brandon's video on the internet and asked him to sing for us. Nathan found us, so you'd have to ask him about where he comes from. I can't speak for why you haven't heard of us, either. Do you watch much TV?" "As for the money, that was Brandon's song from back in his solo career. People are very generous, I guess. They love our music so they're more than willing to tip. Nothing illegal about that." Danielle's PDA chirped and she took a moment to check it. "Ah, our stuff is all packed up. Is there anything else I can do for you before we head out?"
