Cypress uttered a slight cry of surprise as Cyphr scooped her up, then giggled a bit, looking at Abacus and Thimble now, quite happily. She snuggled into Cyphr's arms as she realized he wasn't putting her down any time soon and smiled thankfully at Abacus' remark. You really should try them sometime! Or, maybe a toga, or something more manly she said with a joking nod, wondering if he had gone looking for an Ipes yet. She'd have to ask him later, 'cause Cyphr seemed to have noticed he was still holding her.
She nibbled on her lower lip as he stammered out a response. He was so cute when he was nervous! Then, quite impulsively, she kissed him on the cheek quickly, very nervous at the act and blushing furiously. She hadn't a clue what to say to him back, but she was pretty sure she didn't need to say much. What was worse (or was it even a bad thing?) was that her mind was starting to clear a bit, and she knew exactly what she was doing. Oh, this party was grand fun!

 Nadyrr paused again attempting to put everything she had said into reasonable - at least for himself - positioning s. She had said she wanted to hang out with him which was very good he decided but then said to forget it because the drink was making her say what was on her mind, but what was on her mind seemed to be...well what was making him feel strangely warm right now.
Taking a long drink from his glass he realized he had drank the entire glass of punch, setting the glass down he looked over to her again and perhaps with a bit of liquid courage to help him responded, "but sometimes it's good to say what is on your mind." He watched her as he spoke looking her over slowly as if attempting to memorize her, his eyes resting on her mouth of all places remember how soft her lips had been on his cheek. He rather impulsively let his mind wander on that fact for a bit and then quickly looked down when he realized he had been staring for a bit.

 Looking back towards him, Yalitza lifts her fingers to runs them lightly over his cheek "Really? I'm not making you uncomfortable with what I said?" her own eyes drift to his lips, before she looks away from them. She was starting to feel warm herself, but she kept thinking to herself that maybe it was the drink.
Although she wouldn't lie Nadyrr was really handsome to her. Being shy, it made her want to hug him all the time. Turning back towards him, she leans in brushing her lips against his cheek again before pulls back. Looking into his eyes she smiles "Your cute Nadyrr, very cute."

He reached up and put his hand on the one that had come up to his cheek, holding her hand lightly pressed against his cheek still. He hadn't really thought of what to do with her hand, his eyes drank her in and he listened to her speak though it took sometime for it to register.
He flushed slightly when she said she thought he was cute and he wondered if he should tell her what she was thinking, but by this point his hormones had kicked in and where giving him an uncomfortable sensations as well as ideas ones he was pretty sure were on the -do not share- list.
Taking up another glass of punch he took another drink until he felt more steady and sucked a breath in, "uhm...right and ah..." He didn't know how to express what he was thinking so he leaned forward and kissed her, not on the cheek he kissed her on her lips and to his delight he found they were as soft as he imagined.

She...she...she kissed his cheek. Cyphr's face nearly exploded in colour and he felt his ears burning. He felt a warmth collect in the pit of his stomach. The feeling spread out filling him from toes to crown with tingling pleasure. Cyphr felt the sound building in his heart and then he let out a long crow of delight, nigh a bird call in sound. He squeezed the girl warmly to his chest and nuzzled his face into her hair, breathing deeply of her scent and feeling immensely happy.
"Cypress! Cypress, you...you you'll be my friend? Yah? You'll... be...y'know..." Cyphr babbled into her hair and felt his cheek growing hotter yet. Whether or not he was aware of the fact that he babbled or not was unclear, but Cyphr stopped speaking, somehow aware that what he was saying was making no sense. He was happy, parties were good. He could deal with this awkwardness if it meant kisses!

Yalitza cheeks darken even more when she felt his lips on hers. It took her by surprise but at the same time, caused her to feel really warm. Moving her fingers against his hand alittle, she takes a step towards him as the other hand moves to brush through his hair.
Pulling back from the kiss, she opens her eyes slowly before looking away. her cheeks almost purple now as she couldn't stop smiling. Drunk or not, she was glad he kissed her. Licking at her bottom lip, she chuckles "Mmm...okay that was unexpected, but I rather enjoyed that.."

Cypress giggled happily, not too sure what he was trying to say. Be his friend? Sure. But be his . . . you know . . . what? A warm feeling started in her toes and spread all over her. The absence of knowing what he was really asking was almost too hard to take! Still, mystery was fun, and Cypress didn't really much mind. There was always plenty of time to figure everything out.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, cuddling as closely as she could, though realizing that, surely, he had to be getting tired of holding her all this while. She glanced behind them towards the sushi, remembering suddenly that they had all been heading towards it when they had their little accident. Her tummy growled in spite of herself, and she smiled a bit sheepishly. If you want, you could put me down and we could get some sushi she offered, though she offered a bit of a pout at the idea of being put down. Still, it would be rather hard for them to eat with him holding her, no?

She hadn't hit him which was very surprising and wonderful all at the same time, with a happy sigh he looked to her and smiled at her assessment. "I agree it was very nice, but I think we should maybe go see what everyone else is doing or see the games or something...because - " he cut off at first not sure how to explain what he meant, "well if I don't uhm, we don't - I," he faltered again as what he was feeling and thinking seemed very base and Yalitza seemed very delicate and pretty and beautiful.
"Because things might be less comfortable or something..." he ended lamely biting his lip and still standing very close a small part in the back of his mind wondered if anyone was looking at them.

With a nod, Yalitza takes a step away from Nadyrr. She was finding herself agreeing with him on this matter. If they did stay this way, surely something else would happen. Not that she didn't want that, but at the same time she didn't want to ruin a moment. Slipping her hand into his she gives it a gentle squeeze "Let check to see what the others are doing? Maybe get away from the punch bowl for now?"
A small chuckle slips pass her lips, that even now she could still feels his lips on hers. Her heartbeat was pretty out of control at this point. But it was a feeling she rather liked. More so, she like the way Nadyrr was making her feel at this point. The warmth he caused in her, and the curiosity to explore.

Nadyrr smiled watching her a long moment and returned the hand squeeze, his eyes then went over to the larger group. The Saunguin boy seemed to be going through much the same as himself and he knew he had seen the boy with the camera at some point before, as for the girls he knew the two where cholerics but other then that he wasn't sure. Perhaps they could get them to play a game with them at the dice table, feeling strangely flustered yet secure he kept hold of Yalitza's hand and walked over toward the four, "uhm, hello. Do you mind if we join you?" He looked on to the group as he spoke.
Then glancing toward Yalitza he gave her hand another squeeze a bit of reassurance to himself and because it was nice to do.

Standing slightly behind Nadyrr, only so she can rest her head on his shoulder, she smiles to the others. She knew Cypress, and she seen Cypher around from class. Abacus, she knew and was glad he made it. The new girl, however she didn't know her at all. Giving a small smile to Thimble, she glances at Nadyrr as he squeezes her hand.
She couldn't help but feel as if she was in a dream again. But it seem great company did that. Kissing his cheek, she looks back towards the others.

Thimble didn't exactly jump, per se, as what had seemed like an awful moment blossomed into a well-timed encounter, but her eyes did widen, and her fingers upon her tattoo did suddenly dig into the skin. What on earth! She looked around to see what the other Empyreans in the room were up to, and half-staggered backwards a step as she saw they were up to similar practices (was that ear nibbling she spied?!). The sudden crow from Cyphr was almost the last straw, Thimble wobbled and exercised enough self control to not sit down suddenly, had she just been missing all this before? But how could she miss it, if it was all this obvious? Imagine though, if she hadn't pulled away, would she be like those two now? Her mind blanked.
"And this... happens often too, hey?" She muttered to Abacus. This new understanding, insight even, had stripped her fear of something far darker away, but she still found herself distinctly uncomfortable, this was... unheard of. Surely? But she didn't really have a measure of comparison. Come to think of it, it could even be some sort of tradition or expected thing. Maybe? She counted up the pairs in the room, that would leave... Abacus... and herself. She turned to give the Phlegmatic another look over, and contemplated the possibility that they'd have to have a snog before the night was over. That would be... weird, but if its customary?
Thankfully for Abacus, her thoughts were interrupted. as the master of that delightful Hybrid, and an Empyr even bluer than Abacus (one of the guests who arrived after her, was it?) joined the group.
"Yes yes fine fine, all friends here" and more on that too, seems, she added silently, the hand squeeze did not escape her. Hmm... she looked at her hand and wiggled her fingers. Everyone was doing it, everyone was doing it. She wasn't entirely happy with it, but she couldn't see why she should disagree. She braved an attempt to hold Abacus' hand, well, it was more like a weak grab at his finger. That'd be enough, right? What a strange formality. Or... anti-formality. Despite making this token gesture, Thimble leaned slightly in the opposite direction. She decided that she didn't like this kind of party, after all, it was all too strange. Time for distractions~

Cypress felt light and warm in cyphr's arms and he beamed a joyous smile about at the friends gathered together midway to the sushi table. And then the girl's stomach growled, and as if in mimick, Cyphr's own insatiable belly rumbled and he exchanged an amused look with her. She expressed a desire for sushi, which meant she needed to be put down. Cyphr hesitated and then a curiosity struck him. He turned to look at the sushi table, and shifting his arms aroundher, managed to continue holding Cypress up with merely one crooked arm. He toddled over to the sushi table carrying Cypress effortlessly along, and reached the table sing-songing "Suuuuushiiiiiii~ Come to meeee~"
He reached the table and selected some juicy morsels and arranged them carefully with his pudgy fingers on a plate. Then he selected one for Cypress and picked it up, squeezing it into a shape and making it talk, "Hallo Cypress, I'mma saaaaaalmoooon, hallooooooo~" Cyphr goofed around, bouncing the slamon to her to take and eat, grinning from ear to ear, his eyes bright and excited.

Nadyrr smiled easily and nodded slightly to Thimble feeling somewhat out of place among so many. However being around the others should be easier then...whatever had been happening before. "I'm Nadyrr, and it's nice to meet you, this is Yalitza." He gestures to the Phelgm resting against his shoulder smiling slightly to her.
"It seems everyone is enjoying themselves...have you tried much of the food?" He wasn't sure all that one was suppose to say and he got a feeling that there was something off but he wasn't certain what it was. Glancing over he grinned slightly watching Cyphr. He eyed his own bit of sushi with salmon on it and couldn't help chuckling faintly.

Nodding her head in greeting the Thimble, she chuckles "Its a pleasure to meet you." taking a steps away from Nadyrr. She leans in close to his ear "I will be back in a few minutes." slipping her hand away from his, she turns as she moves back towards the table.
She didn't mean to leave her drink at the table. Picking it up, she finishes off the rest before she licks her lips. Glancing towards the punch bowl, she debates with herself for a moment. She suppose another small glass wouldn't hurt her. With a chuckle, she picks up the ladle pour just a small amount of the punch into her cup once again. Setting the ladle down, she stood there taking a sip.
