At the Values Voters Debate you can see why Ron Paul wants to negate roe vs wade with the abortion of a child who was taken out of the women alive and screaming and cry and they just set it aside and ignored it untill it die. Thats very messed up if you ask me. See for yourself.
That abortion (which even HE says) was done in the 60s when abortion was illegal. Now with the practices done the fetus is dead before it's removed from the uterus.

If he gets rid of Roe V Wade and makes them eligible for becoming illegal on a state by state the states that make so are more then likely going to have a RISE in abortions like the one he talked about.

Not to mention the rise in death of women getting illegal abortions. All that will do is lead more deaths.

Yeah making abortions illegals is proven to not work.

Found something to bring out to light.

Ron Paul has introduced "American Freedom Agenda Act (H.R. 3835)" to Congress:

* Repeals the Military commissions act
* Restores the right of habeas corpus.
* Outlaws "presidential signing statements."
* Prohibits torture.
* Restores the checks and balances between the legislative branch and the executive branch of the federal government.

In short, it prevents the President of the United States from assuming dictatorial powers as Bush is attempting to do right now.
Want to really know your federal office candidate? Ask them this question: "Do you support H.R. 3835?"

H.R. 3835 is a bill presently pending in the House of Representatives. It is known as the American Freedom Agenda Act. This bill repeals the Military commissions act and restores the right of habeas corpus. It outlaws "presidential signing statements." It prohibits torture. It restores the checks and balances between the legislative branch and the executive branch of the federal government. In short, it prevents the President of the United States from assuming dictatorial powers as Bush is attempting to do right now.

Regardless of who you think you are going to support in the 2008 election, before you make up your mind, make sure you know who votes on HR 3835. Do not cast your vote for anyone who does not support this bill. YOUR FREEDOM IS AT STAKE. Everything our fathers, brothers and sisters fought for is at stake. Our very future as a free country is at stake.

By the way. I KNOW where MY candidate stands on this bill. My candidate is Ron Paul and he WROTE the bill and introduced it into the Congress.

This is showing us all the congresses true colors.

Torture is already covered under the Geneva Convention.
Unless we threw that out the window when I wasn't paying attention.

I've read on HIGH TIMES webpage on the Canditates on Cannibus.

Apparently, no one gives a s**t on Mike Gravel. He wants to end the ******** drug war and Kucinich supports medical marijuana, decriminalization and sensible regulation. Ron Paul is kinda next to Hilary and Barack on the closest ones to win.

And I would like to let you guys know as a prophetic dreamer, DON'T VOTE FOR HILARY NOR BARACK!! IT WILL BE HELL IF THEY BE PRESIDENT!

Ron Paul is cool. I think he's our only chance and from the comments from the website, a lot of people were going to vote for him. This is a quote from the High Times site.

Quote:
Ron Paul (R): Not your average Texas Republican. Paul opposes the Patriot Act, believes the War on Drugs violates the Bill of Rights, and favors federal legalization of hemp and medical marijuana.
>>technically, HEMP is Marijuana.

I think I would vote for this guy. ^_^

Hillary Clinton

Voted YES on the REAL ID ACT (US National ID Card)

Voted YES on the Iraq war.

Voted YES on the U.S. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. ACT

Voted YES on the Military Commissions Act (eliminated Habeas Corpus)

Ron Paul voted against all these, plus he is Pro-Privacy & Pro-Habeas Corpus

Terror watch list swells to more than 755,000

"The US Governments Terrorist Watch List has jumped to more than 755,000 names according to a new report. The list appears to be growing at a rate of about 200,000 names per year."

This is so 12th century inquisition.

First it’s the witches, then it was the commies and now it’s the terrorists. I had hoped we had learned something, I guess I was wrong with that assumption.

Typical move by a terrorist government, spread fear and point fingers at everyone else. The biggest terrorists in this country lives in my White House and flies around in a plane.

This witch hunt has gotten insane. When do we start the tortured confessions and the burnings at the stake? Oh, my bad, the torture has already begun.

Where in the F am I living, in the dark ages?

Yeah Torture has been in the news lately. Here is a political cartoon about torture. & another one Here. The website is nice because it its totally true and shows us the news as it happens. You can go see more here.

Just a lot of BS that we need to fix in America. Things are obviously getting out of hand here.

The people need to hear that Ron Paul is right in line with the Constitution (not a "Left's dream candidate).

Conspiracy theory: RP would be almost everyone's DREAM (Desireable
Responsible Ethical Accountable Man) - they just don't know it... yet.

and ironically, it is our PATRIOT ACTION that has historically made it
possible for those who would vote against US (and are very likely to
again regret their vote), to continue to do so.

Forgive them for they know not what they do (or don't do). 'Tis better
to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

I am deeply grateful to be a part of this forum and this "Hope for
America", campaign.

Who would have ever imagined that all it would take is one R.esponsible
E.thical A.ccountable L.eader to step forward and run for our highest
office (and one we know will actually mean it when he takes the oath),
to inspire all of us to self organize, emerge and actively conspire for
a radical common purpose: Liberty and Justice for All.

We are the "VALUES VOTERS"! Honesty, Integrity, The Pursuit of Truth,
Gratefulness (flower shower ; ), etc... And although we have more in
common than we might think, our strength lies in our diversity.

This is quite a forum. I salute you all amazing diverse human beings for
translating our shared American dream into individual action. We are not
a conspiracy theory - WE ARE A CONSPIRACY FACT!

Blessings -Girlfirend

Plan A: Fight the existing reality

Plan B: Create a new reality that makes this one obsolete.

In case you don't know the American dream, and how America is and was started, check out Overview of America. Its only half an hour long, and shows the political scale and how our nations creators created a Republic (what it is), and how we are losing our freedoms. At the end I swear it should say Ron Paul for President 2008 since he is the only candidate who follows the system our forefathers created.
This is serious stuff here, that only takes half an hour to get informed. This system that holds your freedoms in place is at stake here.

"BEWARE THE LEADER WHO BANGS THE DRUMS of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. I am Caesar." --Anonymous

"When weaker nations are intimidated by more powerful ones, striking back very often can be done only through terrorism, a problem that will continue to threaten all Americans as our leaders incite those who oppose our aggressive stands throughout the world. But when a foreign war comes to our shores in the form of terrorism, we can be sure that our government will explain the need for further sacrifice of personal liberties to win this war against terrorism as well."
— Dr. Ron Paul, April 21, 1999

Glenn Beck Accuses Ron Paul supporters as terrorists. (video)

Glenn says “I fear some of his fringe supporters are taking the word ‘revolution’ to literally, sort of like the founders took the word literally and acted upon it.”

I can’t help but think if we where back in the founders day these people would not support our founders and want us to still be apart of Britain and accuse us of terrorism.

Apparently the founders of America where considered Terrorists. Just look at the Boston Tea Party. Look what terrorism has done, it has given people of this land freedom. We need to stop using this terrorism word like it means something more now and days. This is just like the red scare, and the witch hunt put together to put fear in us.

I think I'm going to vote for Kuchinich, at least in the primaries. And I really hope Hilary doesn't get the nomination, because I do NOT want to vote for her but at the same time none of the republicans appeal to me.

Hm... but wouldn't voting Ron Paul just to not ride a bandwagon kinda defeat the purpose?

I have to say that I do like the fact that this is the first time we've had a serious possibility of a woman candidate -- and a black man. But I don't think that either Hilary or Obama has much better chances than a snowball in hell. It's one thing to get most of America used to the idea that anything other than a white man can run for president; the concept of actually having such a different (or someone who's perceived as so different) commander-in-chief would scare most voters. A lot of people love to give lip service to "thinking outside the box," but when they're faced with the decision it's hard to step outside their comfort zone.

Still, the last seven years have done a lot to drive home just how unfounded that trust in the status quo can be. And unfortunately, I think that if either Hilary or Obama is elected, it'll be as much because of Bush's complete failure as because of either of their platforms.

Except, I don't agree with all of Ron Pauls views...particularly when it comes to abortion which is a big deal breaker for me. Besides -- I do consider myself a democrat and quite liberal so the odds of a republican candidate *ever* appealing to me are slim to none.

I've been a fan of Obama for a little while...but Michigan's primaries are pretty much ******** and Obama(along with a few other democrats) decided to take their names off the ballot.
