Kara felt Madeline trying to enter her mind. She felt it before. She wouldn't let her enter. Her mind automatically strengthened the barrier blocking her mind. She didn't know how she was doing it. Maybe it was a defense mechanism of her body. Maybe not. But she knew one thing. Madeline couldn't enter her mind. She felt another shot of pain in her spine but that made the barrier get stronger. Shade saw what was going on. "Core!! Get Madeline out of here. She's trying to enter Kara's mind. But Kara is building shields." He told Core quickly.

" Oh forget it ! " shouted Madeline as she was shot out of Kara`s mind .
In a flurry of black and white , she leaped head-first off of the balcony . In a few moments she was down the street , looking for someone who actually enjoys fun .

Kara's mind started to relax when Madeline was far away so she couldn't enter it. "Its not that i don't want fun but messing with my mind isn't good. It hurts me and i can't control what it does when something tries to enter or force it to do something. When Neila tried to enter back then my mind put up a strong barrier to keep her locked away but she still got out. Every time she did. It put a strain on me....." She said aloud to no one in particular. She was sad that Madeline was mad but she couldn't help it. Shade just stared at Kara. He knew she was hurt.

Lissa heard all the nonsense going on in the other room but didn't bother going in there. She'd just get in the way. She waited as Krissor drank the blood she got for him. He seemed happy. Lissa then felt the tension rising in Kara's mind. Its almost as if her mind wasn't her own but was her protector. After a few minutes the tension recieded and Lissa was able to calm down. "What is going on." She said aloud.

Core leaned against the wall and slid down . She sighed once , closing her eyes . " Lets go shopping , " she said . " It`ll lighten the mood , wouldn`t it ? "

Kara smiled. "Yeah. That'd be nice. I need to restock my clothes supply.... Someone stole all my clothes somehow..." She said. She looked over at Shade. "You wanna come?" She asked him. Shade shook his head. "No i'll hold the fort here." He told Kara. He smiled.

Core stood up and nodded . " Then it`s decided . We`ll go to the mall . " Leaving gracefully in her torn clothes , she jumped off of the balcony . Mainly for convenience . If the secretary had seen her in these clothes , they`d have a problem .

"Why couldn't she have changed into the clothes I provided for her....." She said before following Core. She lept off the balcony.((Exits to Mall))

((Enters)) Kara walked into the lobby area of the apartments. The secretary looked up and saw all the bags Kara was carrying. She quickly got up and took some of the bags. They both went up to Kara's apartment. Kara just kicked the door. Which made her get a weird look from the secretary. Shade opened the door and eyed Kara before quickly taking her bags. He then set them down and grabbed the bags the secretary had. This took all of two minutes. Kara turned to the secretary and thanked her.
Kara followed Shade back in. "Ok well. The small bag with the jacket at the top is your. Well except the jacket. Thats mine. Put the food away. I'm going to my room to put those clothes away." She told Shade before grabbing the clothing bags and heading into her room.

Core knocked on the apartment door twice , quite dreadfully . Once Shade had opened it up for her , she came in quickly . Sitting down on the couch gracefully , she waited for Kara to come out . For some reason , she wasn`t sure that the break that happened with Neila had completely healed between them .

Kara heard the door open and close while she was in her room putting all the clothes away. Once she finished. She opened the door and went out to the living room. "I'll be right back" She told Core before going into the kitchen, where Shade was. She talked with him and directed him on where to put what foods. She told him to leave a certain space open. She'd have to get more blood packets later. For both Core and Krissor and maybe even Madeline if she ever wanted to come back.
She talked with Shade somemore before going back to the living room. "Hey. Sorry about that. I needed to tell Shade a few things. Oh and i got you some clothes in case you needed some while you were over here." She told Core. She then sat down in a chair across from Core.

Core looked at Kara through her brown bangs , and smiled . " That was exceptionally kind of you , thank you " she said . " May I see them ? "
Standing up , she walked into Kara`s bed room , where she found two completely outfits sitting on a dresser . One was a straight low cut top , with a bulbous sleeve that came in at the wrists , and skinny jeans , both black . It had Puma slim fit runners to match . The second outfit was a black dress , the skirt bunched up and ruffled on the left leg , the body and sleeves form fitting , and three inch heels . Obviously for special occasions . She adored them both .

Kara nodded and followed Core into her room. She sat on the bed while Core looked at her outfits. "I hope i got the right size but I thought you'd like both of them. So I got them. So if you ever need a change of clothes while your over here." Kara told Core.

Core put the clothes back on top of the dresser , and did a deep bow to Kara . " Thank you so very much , " she said , rising back up again . There was a small red tear rolling down her face .
" Where would you like to go tonight ? " she asked , walking back into the living room .

Kara followed Core back to the living room. "I have no idea. If I knew of a night club, I'd say lets go there. But first. I don't know if you like that stuff. And second. I have no idea if there is one around here." She told Core.
